I really thought Chris and Comfort should be the ones to go. Comfort barely did anything. I didn't think she was that great last night either.
Of course she wasn't, but her group routine was enough to keep her in.
Lame.

I agree Susie deserved to be bottom 3, but based on the solos I don't believe she should have gone. Why even bother with the solo if you are going to judge
on a group dance? Anyhow, seems like the judges just really didn't go for their salsa and sent them both home for it. I have a feeling Chris and Comfort
will be dancing for their lives again next week.

I have no idea what drugs the judges are on this year. They pick this top 20, and they keep dancers like Chris and Jessica in the competition. How on Earth
was Chris passionate? He was blah, plain and simple. Marquis easily had the best solo of the night. It might have been tricks, but that was a hell of a lot
more than what the other two guys put in their solos (in Chris's case, a sad attempt at emotion). I also much prefer Marquis' real and shy
personality over Chris' really pathetic antics: "Hey! Look at me! I think girls are hot! I'm not a tree! Wacky! Fun! Weeeeeeeeeee!"
I finally thought I would start rooting for Marquis, and he really impressed me. I felt like I finally saw why he was in the top 20. This season is so far, going down the tubes. I thought the reasons for keeping comfort were incredibly stupid to. The group routine? Why on earth is that a criteria? It was hip-hop, which is Comfort's style. They clearly did not like her solo or they would have mentioned it. Now we have only one ballroom dancer left (and ballroom is my favorite). Very sad to see Susie and Maruis go, especially after those solos. Something tells me (the way this season is going), if we still watch the show in a couple of seasons, this year will be looked on as a dud. But maybe I am being too hard on it. Last year, I got pissed so many times, and week 2 was also a batch of bullshit (Faina, my favortie, left, while Cedric, the toxin, stayed). Week 3, Jessi (who danced 3 great couple's dances and a decent solo) left over Lauren, who, at that point, had had three "blah" routines, and a solo that is considered one of the worst in the shows history. Week 4, I was happy. Didn't care for Shauna or Cedric. But week five, they got rid of Anya over Jaimie and Lauren (both of which had only done one good Wwade Robson routine that was only amazing because it was greatly choreographed and catered to both of them). Jaimie was not versatile, at all, and her solos consisted of lifting her leg in the air, while Lauren... yeah.
So, even though last season had it's "ugh" moments, I still remember it fondly. Maybe the same will happen here (although the fact that 11 of
16 of the remaining dancers are contemporary, while only 1 is ballroom, pisses me off, and greatly reduces any chance of "amazing" ballroom
dances).

I was alright with Susie going although I believe Marquis did have the best solo. I am glad Comfort is gonna stick around.

marqui and susie had the best solos of the night I agree why in the hell do they even have solos if they don't matter. I cannot believe that they kept
comfort because of the group dance when susie has done better overall than comfort. usg and susie isn't even my favorite I just hate that that's why
she went home

My wife I and used to call Neil "Spin Spin Kick". That's all he did during the solos. I don't have a problem with kicking off Marquis and Susie since Marquis was an awful partner and Susie -- well, Susie made my skin crawl. But the reasoning was hard to swallow. I mean, be honest and say, "Marquis, we don't think your partnering skills are good enough for the competition". But to say it was just tricks? Fucking hell, that sounds retarded. Chris just hopped around the stage slowly, but somehow he had passion? Retarded. That was the best female hip hop dancer ever? Ashlee was better than that. Personally, I didn't think Susie's solo was enough to save her had that even been a criteria for getting the boot. Bye bye Susie. Here's to kicking people when they're down:

Susie was good but she wasn't great. She needed more hip action.... I don't know why they went with Marquis over Chris though.

I am just glad that Thayne and Chelsie are still around. I don't know why, but I really like something about them. Let's hope they bring it next
week.
I actually thought they were going to send Chris home over Marquis. But, I'm content with tonight's results. But, we all know next week, the couples will NOT stay intact. |

The reasons they came up with for getting rid of Susie and Marquis were complete bullshit, but I couldn't give a shit about either of them if I tried.
Susie has a great body but the fact that she thinks that blonde hair actually goes with her swarthy complexion is a sign for me that things won't get
better for her on the show. I loved Comfort's routine.
Marquis was always cannon fodder, but I wouldn't have been disappointed to see Chris go. No great loss either way. |

I don't know why they went with Marquis over Chris though. Because he looks repulsed by anything with a vag and breasts. I agree that his solo was great, but he's pretty much sexless when he dances, and when your in a competition where you're partnered, that's a problem. |

And there have been an abundance of gay SYTYCD male dancers who faked it well enough to build fanbases teeming with moist vadges, so, bye bye Marquis.

Yeah, I'm not really clear on why all the outrage over Susie/Marquis going home...They weren't the best dancers on the show at all, and I feel both of
them lacked in the personality department. And it's not like Comfort and Chris are long for the show either...Comfort does not even compare to the Hip Hop
skill that our girl Sarah brought last year...and Chris's contemporary isn't on par with what every other male dance can do in ther genre.
And comparing Marquis to Neil, to me, isn't fair. I just feel that although Neil was Mr. Trick, he was cleaner in those tricks, AND had personality to go with it. |

Let's not get crazy. Sara was at best, so-so in hip-hop. In fact, she was stronger in just about every other style. |

The outrage is always about the same thing for me (you'd think I would get used to it by now) - the judges are constantly making up criteria for keeping
people. They should own up and say they're keeping people to preserve the tour, or whatever the real reason is. It would at least give me peace of mind. If
the opening dance kept Comfort in (LIE), then it should have also been a consideration for Marquis, who was featured in the opening dance. In addition, he has
at least one good dance to Chris's none.
Now granted I would have been fine with any of these particular six going home, but the uncertainty always makes me think they can kick out one of my faves. Twitch and Josh will never hit bottom 3 until after top 10; if they do, they'll be saved by virtue of killing their solos or something. I'm also not worried about Chelsie because she is the only rep. left for ballroom so she's here until top 10. It's people like Mark or Katee I worry about because suppose they're up against the supposed "geniuses" and someone who was great in the opening number (since when has this ever been a criteria?). It's just so bizarre to make up reasons and forget to count how people are doing in partner dancers because if we went by that Chris and Comfort would be leaving for sucking two weeks in a row.

but I wanted to tell you all how much I enjoy reading your posts/critiques of the show!! Lisa ;)
