Its always nice to see the bandwagon fans come out of the woodwork once "their team" wins a championship. Twisted and I are true fans and will stick
by our Lakers even in the darkest of times.

If I'm not mistaken, most of those guys are California guys.

At least when I talk shit about the Greatriots, I make it interesting. Twisted just made himself look a fool, again and again.
Shaq who? He's not on the Lakers anymore so he won't be winning a ring this season. As compared to the Greatics who can't win a game away from their home arena against the powerhouse teams in the JV conference. See, the Lake Show lost two close games to a quality Utah team that plays extremely well in their home arena. Jazz are as good, if not better, than any team in the dreary JV conference. Unlike the MELT-ics, Lakers have won on the road in the playoffs beating Denver twice. A team that won 50 games and is superior to both Atlanta and Cleveland. Aside from Dallas last season, the '08 Meltics might be the worst #1 seed ever. How did the Greatics ever manage to overcome adversity by winning a Game 7 at home against the 37-win Hawks?!!! Sounds like a championship team to me Didn't I tell you Greatics in 6? This wasn't a fluke like the Giants game, the Greatics proved that they were the better team in one of the worst beatdowns I've ever seen. Don't come into my threads ever again until you learn to respect your master. |

Twisted's prediction from page 10:
East That's pretty darn close, except he picked the wrong team to win. I had the Celtics winning in 6, except against the Spurs. I am the only one who picked Boston with my prediction. Yay me I guess |

So, is the Superbowl over now? I used to hate tuning into ABC and not being to see my regularly scheduled programming!

I'm still a Spurs fan, but congratulations to the Celtics! Fans like A Bart will get no praise, though. Now or ever.

Super Bowl was far far far more satisfying. I still can't decide what's worse, a classless winner or a sore loser. Anyway, congrats to the Celtics. Good job. |

I still can't decide what's worse, a classless winner or a sore loser.I'd like to suggest adding "bitter betty" for those sports fans of really crappy teams who've never won but take great pleasure in tearing down the teams that have won.

In a Championship game? They'd better not whine about the score!
Considering all the blown leads in this series, it wouldn't have been prudent to turn off the juice once it got flowing.

Kobe is very good but after watching him come up so small in this series and stand-by last nite and just watch the championship get yanked away can we please
stop these Jordan comparisons forever. Thanks.

As soon as the accusation of fixing games came out, you knew the Lakers were done. Every Shaq/Kobe title is tainted now. Why do you think Phil Jackson refuses
to coach for Vancouver?
