It is by far the sickest thing this show has done and I've seen some pretty sick things. They are trying to gloss it over b/c he's not blood related to her, but for the love of GOD it is STILL incest.

I would like to know how he'd recognize the dean as dear old daddy since he hasn't seen him since he was a tad. Stephanie's snooping didn't dig up anything on him. And how can no one in that family find it acceptable that their son/little brother is boinking a family member? I would have thought Steve would have had him by the throat up against the wall. Daniel and Chelsea might be acceptable with the age difference if they didn't look like crap together. There is no chemistry there at all.

The whole Max/Stephanie thing makes me puke. I am bored to #%%@+ everytime either of them is on the tv. QUESTION- I missed things lately-- has Max mentioned his mother at all? I only know that Max was adopted when he looked to be about 5 or 6, and he and Frankie called themselves brothers. We later found out that Frankie had found Max living on his own in the streets, and "adopted" him. Frankie was a Von Leushner (or something), and Carly's brother. I am assuming that the new character played by Roscoe Born will turn out to be Max's bio daddy... but who is his mom? I'm wondering whether Max remembers any of that stuff, since he was so young when adopted by the Bradys. Have they given us any details about Mom? did she get pregnant and raise Max alone and then die? I'm just curious. Claire!

I really hope this autism storyline doesn't lead to Lexie cheating. I'm okay with Abe/Lexie divorcing then have Lexie move on with Daniel. BTW Stax (Steph & Max) are pretty much front burner lately and ratings have taken a nose dive. Maybe this will wake the writers up and they'll realize no one cares about them. They remind me of Shawn & Belle when they first started dating. They were totally shoved down our throats.

But still-- I'm so tired of Abe/Lexie. After all that they have been through, you'd think the writers would put them in a loving committed relationship. At least for a year or two. I'm not crazy about a potential Daniel/Lexie pairing. He's like a man-child, and she deserves better. I'm wondering if Days is trying to make Max and Stephanie the next "supercouple." For the show to do that, they have to give Max a non-Brady family so that the viewers won't focus on the incest aspect of the relationship. The only emotion Max's portrayer is capable of playing well is anger, so Days has to give him a lot of opportunity to play to his strength. As for the Good Will Hunting ripoff, how stupid. If Max had this genius, wouldn't he have used it to help Shawn create his turbo engine, and wouldn't he have used in his racing career and garage? Did miss NuJohn this week.

Trouble is they didn't count on the reactions of the viewers. This so-called supercouple in the making are nauseating. A lot of people see it as a slap in the face of adoptees, that they aren't considered as "real" family members, so it's okay if they want to date their niece/cousin/sister/whatever. Days could care less about giving viewers what they want (good old fashioned love in the afternoon romance, adventure and drama) and keep shoving s/l's down our throats that repulse us until we turn it off. It makes me wonder if they are trying to drive down the ratings so they can cancel it.

LeeLeeRaRa...This has been my suspicion for the past few years. Even with bringing back Steve and Kayla, the show has dropped the ball. They've not had a decent storyline yet. Have the soap rags had any opinions on the Max/Stephanie relationship?

I just think KC really thinks his ideas are good. Have the soap rags had any opinions on the Max/Stephanie relationship? I don't think they get good reviews but I could be mistaken. I know a big time magazine mentioned Stax. It was during the strike and they were promoting soaps while primetime was out. They mentioned if you're into "All in the Family love" then watch DAYS.

Posts: 1638 (06/18/08 6:19 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	monday (i saw most of it) in a nutshell: kate refused to let daniel be her surgeon - reason = i just don't understand it yet. max busted into the professors apartment. stephanie called nick to help look for him. baby joe was doing well. ej and nicole got victor to settle the divorce out of court. lucas was a thin-lipped whiny toolbag (shocker!). told sami either she or ej need to move out. chloe showed up at the dimera mansion and tried to get lucas to admit he was on the dock when he called her. sami met roman at the pub and sort of fessed up that she has feelings for ej. if i missed anything, someone please fill in the blanks.
