awwwww... It was just getting good and I was looking forward to reading it every Friday. But I understand. My computer (or at least my internet) craps out on me all the time. Good luck!Sorry about the wait, cardswin5. Episode 7 will hopefully go up on Wednesday and then I'll TRY to have Episode 8 up in less than a week, but I don't know if that will be possible. Prediction: The winner is either: Thanks a lot for that prediction, Wc3Fanatic. I have to say, that sounds like a very plausible theory right now. Good job! :) |

Okay, so I've finally set a final date for Episode 7 that looks like it's going to be manageable. The date is THURSDAY morning. I still don't have
my other computer back, so I'm having to write from a laptop, which takes longer for me and I'm never going to rush an episode. I always want it to be
as good as it can be.
After that, I'm going to try, try, try to get Episode 8 done on the next WEDNESDAY, but I can't promise it... Thank you again to all of you for your patience!!! :) |

Glad you guys are looking forward to it! :)
The episode will be up probably around noon tomorrow. I was previously putting them up around 9 in the morning, but I don't think anyone's around that early so I might as well take the extra few hours. I don't think an episode has ever dragged on this long for me... |

Jeff Probst: <narration> Previously on Survivor… <The infrared camera shows a wide view of the Airai tribe's beach, as dark clouds can be seen shifting rapidly in the night sky> Jeff Probst: <narration> After voting out Earl at the fifth Tribal Council, Terry and Eliza had it out… Terry: <to Eliza> Thanks for stabbing me in the back, <A surprised Eliza can be seen turning her head> and <pause> I say that with all due respect… <Another view of Eliza is then shown next> Eliza: <to Terry> Well, you've only been plotting to get me out since, what was it? Day One or Two? It's been fun. Aras - CONFESSIONAL: The idea of the Favorites sticking together: <short pause> that, in my mind, is a fallacy. <Another rapid clip of Brooke, Sherea, and Ami is shown> Eventually you have to make some decisions that may turn certain people against you, <A view of a contemplative Ami is shown> but when those people are already willing to cut you loose, you kinda have nothing to lose. Jeff Probst: <narration> Back at Airai, it seemed certain that Terry would go… <The camera fades out to show both Ruth Marie and Eliza sitting in the shelter together> Eliza: <to Ruth Marie> This is gonna be the most satisfying Tribal Council I've ever been at. <laughs> Jeff Probst: <narration> But before Tribal Council, Jason swayed his allies, Tracy and Mikey, to eliminate the weakest link instead. <The camera now shows the three Airai members talking> Jason: Let's keep our strength and vote for her just between the three of us… <A close-up view of an uncertain Tracy is shown, before 'Tally the Vote' begins to play, as the camera fades into an aerial view of the Micronesian village Tribal Council. The six Airai members are then shown sitting down> Jeff Probst: <narration> At Tribal Council, Eliza received vote one; <Terry can be seen holding his vote up to the camera> Terry got two, <Quick views of Eliza and Ruth Marie holding up their votes is shown> and a stunned Ruth Marie got the rest. <Jeff can be seen pulling the final vote out of the urn> Jeff Probst: Sixth person voted out of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites: <A rapid view of the entire Airai tribe is shown, before Jeff reveals the deciding vote to the castaways> Ruth Marie ♥. Malakal Tribe - Night 16
<An eerie music plays, as the infrared camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the dark night sky, and then fades into a clip of a rotting coconut on the beach, as several rats pick at it. The camera then turns to show the eight Malakal members walking back into their camp> Brooke: That was quite the betrayal… <Sherea can now be seen setting her torch down> Sherea: <to Brooke> Told you we should have thrown that one challenge… <Another close-up view of Brooke is shown, as the camera continues to focus on her> Ian - CONFESSIONAL: Coming back from Tribal Council is, uh, always a two-sided sword. You know, you're happy because you're still in the game, <A wide view of several Malakal members is now shown> but you kinda get that unsettled feeling in your stomach because you know that somebody else probably got taken by surprise with the vote and you don't know how well they're gonna handle it… <The infrared camera goes back to Sherea> Sherea: <to Brooke> We should have known somethin' was up, you know, with all that quiet talk goin' on… <Brooke is now shown subtly nodding her head> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Since the mix-up and since the switch of tribes, um, the Favorites had talked about sticking together, as well as the women, <Quick views of the Malakal women are shown> but tonight at Tribal Council, Alexis, Mary, and Aras all broke those alliances and Ami went home, <The infrared camera shows the tribe's fire flickering, before scrolling over to Kathy> so that was definitely a hard hit for the women… <The camera shows a clip of several castaways gathered around the fire, before zooming back in on Brooke> Brooke: <to Aras> I'm not upset, but I mean, I know it was a strategic move on your part; <A quick clip of both Ian and Alexis is shown> I just think it was totally dumb though… <A defensive Aras is then shown looking up> Aras: <to Brooke> Hold on; you're calling me stupid now? <Brooke can be heard saying something inaudible> I voted with the majority, so… <The infrared camera then abruptly switches angles to show Brooke and Sherea again> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Aras is interesting. He thinks "here, now." <Aras is now shown, as he continues to speak> You know, he definitely doesn't think one step down the road or two steps down the road; <short pause> um, he doesn't look that far, and that's fine. <Brooke is then shown again> If that's how he wants to play, game on! <laughs> Not only will I fight him, but I will win… <Another close-up view of Aras is now shown next> Aras: You know what? You both had my word 100% until I found out that I was gonna be next after Joel, <An uneasy Mary is now shown turning towards Aras> so for me, when you went back on that word, there was no more alliance… <Brooke is shown making a confused face> Brooke: <to Aras> How did we break the alliance?! <The camera then goes back to Sherea> Sherea: <talking loudly> We voted for Joel! <A rapid view of an uncomfortable Joel is shown, as he stares ahead> You know, that's what you don't understand! <Another view of Aras is then shown, as the camera focuses back in on him> Aras: By you changing your story and telling me one thing and telling Mary and Alexis that I was next, <The camera zooms in on Mary, as she nods her head dramatically> that's a pretty obvious case of breaking an alliance… <Brooke is now shown> Brooke: Aras, we told you that we were voting for Joel and we did… <Sherea then interjects> Sherea: <to Aras> Why would you listen to them anyway instead of comin' to one of us?! <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows both Mary and Aras> Aras: Don't stand there and tell me that you were never gonna write my name down, <Brooke can be heard saying "We weren't!"> cause what you're doing right now is you're insulting my intelligence, <Another infrared view of Sherea is shown, as she tenses her expression> and you're calling those girls both liars. <Alexis, Brooke, and Sherea are then shown next> Brooke: <to Aras> It's obviously to their advantage to throw us under the bus… <Aras is shown shaking his head, as the infrared camera focuses back in on him> Aras: Don't, don't go there… <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera zooms out to show a wide view of the entire Malakal tribe gathered around the fire> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: In voting out Ami, I may have put a target on my back with Brooke and Sherea, <Another view of Brooke and Sherea is shown> and I felt bad for them up to a certain point; <short pause> you know, until they started attacking me and telling me that they weren't gonna break the alliance… <The infrared camera now shows Mary> Mary: <to Brooke> You're just sticking to the story that you want to believe, and you don't even want to listen to Aras. <Aras is then shown again, as he begins to say something> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, I made my decision, Ami's gone, and it's now up to everyone else to learn to live with it or not because that's out of my control. <The camera scrolls across several castaways, and then focuses back in on Sherea> Sherea: I hold to my word, you know? At least I didn't go behind nobody's back… <The infrared camera now switches angles to show another view of Aras> Aras: <to Sherea> I don't feel like I went behind anybody's back. <A stern-looking Sherea is then shown again> As far as I'm concerned, it was public knowledge that I was probably gonna vote Ami out. <The camera turns back to Aras again> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: It is definitely a drag that Brooke and Sherea are being really sour about it. <Sherea can be heard saying something inaudible> You know, I do have compassion for them because I've been in their shoes and it's not a fun place to be, <The infrared camera switches angles to show Joel tending to the fire> so I'm certainly not gonna make them feel excluded, but <pause> I mean, they need to get over it because they're ruining my night at this point <laughs> and they're making it that much easier to just vote them out next. <There is a prominent sound, as another view of Sherea is shown> Sherea: <to Aras> If you [inaudible], you're not gonna like what happens next. Believe that… Aras: Then I am asking for you to accept my apology. <Brooke is now shown with a thoughtful look on her face> I apologize sincerely; <short pause> I don't apologize for voting Ami out, but I am sorry it didn't work out for you and that it weakened your positions. <Alexis is shown> Alexis: <to Brooke and Sherea> We want you to work with us so we can work with you. <The infrared camera then scrolls back over to Aras again> Aras: Every day is a new day, and this tribe will be a new team tomorrow… <Kathy is then shown, as a comical sound is heard> Kathy: Good; can we go to bed now? I'm, like, dozing off. <laughs> I have to go to sleep… Aras: <to Kathy> Yeah. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows a close-up view of a pensive Mary and then focuses in on the tribe's flickering fire. The screen fades out>
Malakal Tribe - Day 17
<'Floating' plays, as the camera shows a view of the tops of several palm trees and then scrolls down to the Malakal tribe's flag. A wide view of the early morning sky is then shown, as the sun begins to rise over the calm ocean. The camera now turns to show Mary walking over to Alexis and Aras, who are standing on the beach together> Mary: <to Aras> I want to learn some yoga from you… <Aras is then shown smiling> Aras: <to Mary> You want to learn yoga? <An excited Mary can be heard saying "Yeah, teach me something," before the camera switches angles to show a watchful Joel> Joel - CONFESSIONAL: Aras definitely has the hots for Mary, you know, and vice versa. <A close-up view of both Aras and Mary smiling and laughing is shown> At this point, I don't see that relationship/alliance, whatever it is, posing a threat to my ultimate survival out here. <The camera focuses back in on Joel, as he haphazardly chops into a coconut and narrowly misses his hand> Maybe after the merge that alliance could grow, and become more of an obstacle, but <pause> in my mind, it's first and foremost a numbers game and it's a voters game, <A clip of Mary, Aras, and Alexis stretching on the beach is shown> they're in my larger alliance with Alexis and with Ian and with Kathy, <The camera shows quick views of Joel's Malakal alliance members> so right now, I've got the numbers. <A mysterious music begins to play, as the camera turns back to Mary, Alexis, and Aras, who are still doing yoga on the beach> Aras: Alright; I want you to focus every muscle in your feet. <The camera zooms in on Alexis, and shows her for a few seconds> They're relaxed. Okay, now your legs, your waist, <A view of Mary is then shown, as the camera scrolls up to her face> back, arms, all the way up to your neck; <short pause> they're all relaxed. <Mary is shown again, as she listens intently> Mary: <to Aras> Okay… <The camera now continues to focus on Mary> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: I think the strategy to vote out Ami was brilliant. <The camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Brooke and Sherea wallowing in the shelter> You know, you always want to be highest on the food chain in your tribe. <Joel is then shown eating a piece of coconut> Having a majority is key in this game. Alliances are everything, and <short pause> I really feel like I'm developing a relationship with Aras. <Aras is now shown next> Aras: So all of your muscles are just dead weight now. <The camera zooms out to show a wide view of the three Malakal members> Okay, now breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. <Another close-up view of a calm Mary is shown, as she exhales> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Um, I'm developing real genuine feelings for him; you know, we're alike in so many ways… <Aras is now shown again> Aras: <to Mary> Squeeze your shoulder blades together. <Mary and Alexis are both shown again> Now hold that position there. <A rapid view of Aras is shown next> Take a few more deep breaths. Okay, exhale. <The camera switches angles to show Alexis again> Alexis: <to Aras> I can feel that pull in my arms… <Aras can be heard saying something inaudible, as the camera scrolls back over to Mary, who continues to stretch> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Alexis really is a great girl. She's a sweet southern belle. <Aras can be heard saying "Deep breaths," as Alexis inhales> Ian, <short pause> Ian, I'm also really impressed with. <Ian is shown carrying a fishing net out into the shallow ocean waters> He's definitely a worker. <The camera cuts ahead to show Ian carrying a bundle of firewood> He wants to be all he can be, and offer something valuable to the tribe and to the world, so I think we might as well align with people who we're going to enjoy being with for 39 days, <laughs> and I hope that's my four. <laughs> I really hope it is… <The music now changes to a softer and more upbeat tune, as the camera switches angles to show Mary, Alexis, and Aras talking in the shallow ocean waters> Alexis: <to Aras> We were thinking you, me, Mary, and Ian for the Final Four… <A close-up of Aras is shown, as he subtly nods his head in agreement> Aras: Yeah. <The camera then scrolls back over to both Mary and Alexis> Alexis: <to Aras> Do you think that'd be good? <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera abruptly cuts back to Joel and Kathy, who are standing by the fire> Kathy: <to Joel> Look. He's nodding to whatever she's saying… <Aras is then shown again, as the camera returns back to the three Malakal members> Aras: <to Aras> Yeah; the only thing is I have a prior commitment with Terry, <Mary is shown with a contemplative look on her face> but if we can possibly bring him in as five… <The camera now shows Alexis looking up> Alexis: <to Aras> Before Joel or, uh, Kathy? <Another view of Aras is shown next> Aras: Yeah, and believe me, he would be fifth out; <short pause> before any of us… <The camera then focuses back in on Alexis, as she subtly nods her head> Alexis: <whispering> This is the thing: <short pause> if we can rely on the four of us, we could probably keep individual Immunity within our group, <Mary now says "Right," as Alexis points to Mary and then Aras> and just downplay this alliance right here; <Aras is then shown again> know what I mean? <The camera scrolls back over to Alexis again> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: I think, right now, the game's really starting to pick up. <A wide view of several other Malakal members is shown> Alliances are starting to become even more important as we get closer to what we think is a merge, <The camera now focuses back in on Alexis> and <pause> Mary and I definitely feel like we have the numbers on our side between the other Fans, and Aras and Ian. <The camera zooms out to show Alexis, Mary, and Aras> Alexis: I'm loyal to you guys… <A close-up view of Mary is now shown next> Alexis - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I don't think there's any way around the fact that Sherea and Brooke are gonna be the next two voted off. <Quick views of Brooke and Sherea are now shown again> You know, sorry for your luck, but that's the reality of the game… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out> |

Airai Tribe - Day 17
<'Meditator' plays, as the camera shows an aerial view of the Airai tribe's island and a lone bird can be seen soaring above the lush jungles. A blurry view of the tribe's orange flag is then shown, before the camera sharpens the image, and then cuts ahead to show Eliza washing a pot in the shallow ocean waters, as the music changes to become more sympathetic> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: It was a little strange last night after coming back from Tribal Council; <short pause> I came back really upset that I was basically lied to all day, <A clip of Tracy, Jason, and Mikey is shown next> and it was kindof an awkward situation at camp. <The camera now shows Eliza looking back towards the Fans> You know, I was just totally shocked that Ruth Marie was voted off and I definitely feel bad for her that she was blindsided. <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows a view of the blazing sun, and then fades into a clip of Eliza and Tracy both talking on the beach> Eliza: <to Tracy> It's just, I'm put in a situation of being lied to and then having to face the people who just lied to me… <A close-up view of Tracy is shown, as she says "I know"> Tracy: <to Eliza> But don't automatically think that you're the next target. <Eliza is shown> Eliza: <to Tracy> No, I understand exactly why it was Ruth Marie. <Tracy can be seen subtly nodding her head> I just hope, you know, that you guys trust me enough to tell me those things, <laughs> cause I would have probably voted with you, <Tracy asks "You would have?"> so… <laughs> <Eliza is then shown again, as she says "Yeah"> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: You know, I almost had it coming in a way, because we got back from the last Tribal Council and I gloated about Earl and Terry, <The camera shows a clip of Terry boiling a pot of water> and then at the very next Tribal Council, I was blindsided right back, <laughs> so definitely, what goes around comes around in this game. <The camera now cuts back to both Eliza and Tracy> Eliza: <to Tracy> So is it still Terry next then? <Another close-up view of Tracy is shown next> Tracy: Mm hmm… <The camera switches angles to show Eliza again> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> It's hard to be blindsided by a vote; <short pause> you know, I got blindsided in Vanuatu when I was voted out, <The camera continues to show Tracy and Eliza for a few seconds> so <long pause> no more blindsides. <laughs> I'm keeping my ear to the ground, <A view of Mikey and Jason sitting by the fire is shown> and I'm gonna know exactly what's going on in this tribe from now on. <The camera cuts ahead to show Terry sitting down across from Jason and Mikey> Terry: Alright, guys; here's the deal: <short pause> uh, I'm just reconfirming the alliance from last night to take out Eliza, <The camera zooms in on Mikey, as he says "Yep"> and then from there, um, I can offer Aras and Ian as votes if we're all around at the merge… <Jason is shown with a thoughtful look on his face, before the camera goes back to Terry> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: Today is Day 17. Ruth Marie went home at Tribal Council last night, and prior to that there was an offer made by me to Jason and Mikey for us three guys to become an alliance, <Another clip of the three Airai men talking is shown> and I said, you know, I can get Aras and Ian to flip over. <Mikey is then shown again> Mikey: <to Terry> So it would be… <The camera scrolls back over to Terry again> Terry: It would be the three of us, Aras, Ian… <Another view of Mikey and Jason is shown> Mikey: <to Terry> And Joel would give us six, you know, so we'd be good. <The camera shows Terry again, as he nods his head> Terry: I mean, we all shook on it. I take that seriously. <The camera continues to show Terry> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Of course Eliza's doing the same thing, <A watchful Eliza is now shown standing by the fire with her arms crossed, before the camera scrolls back over to Terry> so <long pause> my arch-nemesis in the game right now is a 25 year-old girl, and I'd pretty much do anything to get her out of my hair, man… <laughs> <A panicked Eliza is then shown walking over to Jason, Terry, and Mikey, as Jason changes the subject> Jason: <to Terry> I think I had about an hour's sleep last night; it's really frustrating. <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera shows another clip of Eliza> Eliza: What's going on? <A close-up view of Terry is shown, as he turns towards Eliza> Terry: <to Eliza> We're just having a conversation. <Eliza now shifts her expression, as the camera continues to focus on her and there is a brief silence> Eliza: <to Terry> Well, I kinda want to talk to them, so… <Terry is then shown smirking> Terry: <to Eliza> Well, you can talk… <The camera now zooms out to show a wide view of the four Airai members, before focusing back in on Eliza> Eliza: <to Terry> Without you. <A smirking Terry is now shown again> Terry: <talking aloud> I wonder why that is… <laughs> <The camera cuts back to Eliza> Eliza: <to Terry> Probably the same reason that you were just talking to them. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows Jason with an uncomfortable look on his face> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Terry and I are definitely campaigning for each other to go. You know, this goes all the way back to the first Tribal Council, <Terry is shown, as he can be heard saying something inaudible to Eliza> and the Fans most likely are going to stick together, and <long pause> just yesterday I wouldn't have felt vulnerable, but after the last Tribal Council, <The camera now scrolls back over to an uneasy Eliza> I don't feel safe; <short pause> I pretty much can't rely on anyone, so <pause> I'll do anything I can to stay in this game right now. <Another prominent sound is heard, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Terry walking further down the beach, and then goes back to Eliza, Jason, and Mikey> Eliza: Just tell me what he said… <The camera focuses in on Mikey> Mikey: He wants Aras and Ian in an alliance with the Fans after the merge, which <short pause> sounds like a pretty good deal, to be honest with ya… <A worried Eliza can now be seen tensing her expression, as the camera continues to show her> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: I just found out that Terry offered the Fans an alliance with Aras and Ian, which is pretty much crap because Ian wouldn't flip anyway, <The camera shows another view of the three Airai members> so I'm going to offer them one better so I can keep them on my side if we have to go to Tribal Council in two days… <Eliza is then shown again> Eliza: I have Ami, Brooke, and Sherea, <Jason is shown with a thoughtful expression on his face> so that's a better deal in the long run, and I guarantee you they'll all flip and vote with you guys, so… <Eliza's voice trails off, as the camera cuts back to a contemplative Mikey, who displays a look of intense thought> Mikey: <to Eliza> Well, you've definitely given us something to think about, you know? <Eliza says "Yeah," as the camera switches angles to show another clip of her> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I don't think either one of our fates is sealed as of today. I think there's gonna be a lot of scrambling going on in the next couple days, <The camera now shows another view of Terry> and one of us is gonna outlast the other, and <short pause> yeah, I can't wait. <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen fades out>

It might be you that's gone if we lose again… <Jason now shifts his expression, as there is an awkward silence> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: If Survivor continues along the same traditions, we'll merge within the next two or maybe three more Tribal Councils; <The camera focuses back in on Mikey, who continues to speak> um, we're probably going to continue losing challenges whether we have Terry or not, so <pause> instead of keeping the strongest competitors like I would have done ten days ago, I may keep Eliza <A close-up view of a worried Eliza is shown> and vote off Terry because I think my chances of winning Immunity against Tracy, and against Eliza and the other women would be a lot greater, <Jason is now shown with a pensive expression on his face> and that's kinda where my head is at… <The camera goes back to Mikey again> Mikey: <to Jason> So what's your, um, decision? <A view of a conflicted Jason is shown next> Jason: I kindof wanna see how Tribal Council goes, you know? <The camera zooms out to show another wide view of the three Airai members> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I did give Terry my word at the last Tribal Council, <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Terry sitting in the shelter> but I'm definitely prepared for lying to win Survivor, and you know, tonight may be one of those times, but <long pause> I'm kinda goin' back and forth in my head between Eliza and Terry, <The camera abruptly switches angles to show another clip of an uneasy Eliza> and <long pause> ugh, it's so hard… <laughs> <Another view of Mikey is shown next> Mikey: Here's what I can promise you, okay? No matter which one of them goes, the other one goes next, <Jason is shown, as he and Tracy both say "Yeah"> and if you guys wanna vote off Terry, I'm not gonna take it out on you, you know, <The camera zooms in on Jason> but I prefer Eliza to go… <Tracy is then shown, as the camera scrolls over to her> Tracy: <to Mikey> We still need to stick together… <The camera returns to Mikey again> Mikey: Joel and Kathy, <Tracy now nods> Mary and Alexis, <Jason then says "Yep"> and just let the Favorites keep cutting each other's damn throats. <Another side view of Tracy is shown next, as she says "Mm hmm"> We'd have to be complete morons to mess that up… <laughs> Jason: You know, whether I decide to keep Terry or Eliza, <A clip of both Terry and Eliza is shown next> I'm definitely 'Fans to the end.' <The camera scrolls back over to Mikey> Mikey: Alright, good talk. Good talk. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the darkening sky, and then fades out to show the five Airai members grabbing their torches. Tribal Council #8 - Airai Tribe
<'Tally the Vote' begins to play, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of a tropical island, and then scrolls above the dark ocean. A fast-forwarded view of the red-orange sky is then shown, before the camera fades into an overhead view of the Micronesian village Tribal Council. A side view of the five Airai members making their way across the wooden dock is shown. The camera now turns to Jeff, before switching angles to show the castaways setting their torches down. Both Jason and Terry are shown, before the camera scrolls over to Tracy, who sits down at the benches. Another view of Jeff is then shown next> Jeff Probst: Sorry to see you guys again… <Terry is shown with a slight smirk on his face> Terry: <sarcastically> Sure you are… <laughs> <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows Mikey shifting his expression, and then returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Let's talk about the Reward Challenge: <Jeff takes a short pause, as the camera scrolls across the Airai members> Eliza, it seemed like, from where I was standing, you really took charge. <An uneasy Eliza can be seen nodding her head, before the camera goes back to Jeff> Did you feel any part of the blame for missing out on a Reward that, on Day 19, you all could have used? <A few quiet laughs can be heard, before the camera cuts back to Jeff> Eliza: I definitely accept a lot of the responsibility. <Terry can be seen making a face> You know, I think we all tend to have certain roles that we're good at in challenges, and usually when it comes to anything that needs to be solved, <Tracy is now shown listening intently> that's typically been my role, <Another wide view of the entire Airai tribe is shown next> but I was so blown away to see that Ami was gone that it threw me off my game today, <A prominent sound is now heard, as Mikey raises his eyebrows> and <long pause> it's never a good feeling when you're the person who loses a challenge for your tribe, Jeff. <Jason is shown with a thoughtful look on his face, before the camera returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Tracy, <Tracy is shown, as she says "Jeff"> it's been seven days since you guys integrated with the Favorites. What's been the biggest impact of the swap so far for you? <A burning torch is now shown, before the camera scrolls forward to show Tracy> Tracy: You get to see people in a different light than when you were playing against them, especially in this case. <A wide view of all five Airai members is shown again> I mean, now that we've gotten to know some of the Favorites, you start to think of them less as a character from TV. <Jason is now shown nodding in agreement, before the camera returns to Tracy> At first, you know, it's crazy for a normal person to have to play against that, but <pause> there comes a point where you see them, you know, <Both Terry and Eliza are shown next> as real people who aren't a whole lot different than yourself. <Mikey can be seen with a pensive expression on his face, before the camera switches angles to show another view of Jeff> Jeff Probst: <to Tracy> So tell me about Eliza and Terry… <Tracy is now shown again> Tracy: Eliza is smokin' smart; <Eliza can then be seen smiling> I mean, that is one intelligent girl whether we won these last two challenges or not, and, you know, she's a fighter. <The camera shows all five Airai members again> Terry is extremely competitive; <short pause> he's very strong physically, <Terry is then shown with an expressionless look on his face> and the dedication to his family just blows my mind… <Another view of Jeff is shown next> Jeff Probst: Eliza, <Jeff takes a short pause, as the camera focuses back in on him> a self-proclaimed "good judge of character," <Eliza is shown grinning, as she says "Yeah"> tell me about Tracy… <The camera shows Tracy looking towards Eliza, and then turns back to her> Eliza: I think Tracy's strong suits are she's determined; she's very strategic-minded; <Tracy can be seen subtly nodding her head> um, she's probably a little underestimated by the other tribe, <Mikey is now shown tensing his expression> and <pause> I think she's just an all-around good player… <The camera shows a close-up view of the central fire burning> Jeff Probst: Terry, let's go back to the challenges. <A quick view of Terry is shown, before the camera returns to Jeff> By my count, this tribe has won two challenges, and lost ten, <Tracy can be seen shifting her expression> which is now officially a worse record than Ulong… <A prominent sound is heard, as a smirking Mikey shakes his head> Mikey: Yeah, thanks for the confidence boost… <The camera then goes back to Jeff again> Jeff Probst: <to Terry> What's it like to go from a tribe that's constantly winning to a tribe that can't seem to win anything? <Another view of Terry is now shown next> Terry: There's, uh, nobody more surprised than me. I thought for sure we were gonna go in there and whoop the pants off Malakal at a lot of these games, <Jason is now shown widening his eyes> but the reality is it hasn't happened and it probably won't happen. <Eliza can then be seen making a face> But, um, once you're that high on a winning streak, then you end up on a sinking ship, you really have to shift it into gear and get out of it, <The camera focuses back in on Terry again> because it's more than just a physical thing or a mental thing at that point. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera turns back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Eliza, yes or no answer: <short pause> can this tribe win another challenge? <The camera shows the central fire burning, and then fades out to show all five Airai members> Eliza: I would like nothing more than to believe that this tribe can win another challenge against Malakal, <Jason is shown with a somber look on his face> but we're so far in a hole right now numbers-wise, and everything-wise that I really don't know… <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera scrolls across the castaways and then cuts back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Terry, <long pause> what do you bring to this tribe that's better than what Eliza can bring? <Eliza can be seen looking towards Terry, as the camera zooms in on him> Terry: As far as doing some pre-planning ahead to the merge, I can offer them Aras and Ian, <Mikey is now shown listening intently> which I'm totally willing to do; <Terry pauses, as the camera shows a close-up view of Tracy> she only has Brooke, so… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as a defensive Eliza immediately interjects> Eliza: <to Terry> That's blatantly not true! <The camera now cuts back to Terry again> Terry: <to Eliza> How 'bout you let me finish my sentence and then you'll get your chance to respond… <A wide view of the entire Airai tribe is shown, before the camera returns to Eliza> Eliza: <talking loudly> First of all, Ian is 100% not going to flip on his tribe and go with the Fans. <Terry is shown with a tense look on his face> You'd have to be a pretty big idiot to bank on that after everything he's said about honesty, <The camera switches angles to show a conflicted Jason> and second of all, Sherea will flip. <Tracy is then shown looking up> That's not even a question, so that gives us an automatic six, plus Joel and Kathy if we can get them, so we'll be set… <Another view of Jeff is shown next> Jeff Probst: So Eliza, <short pause> why should they keep you tonight and not Terry? <The camera focuses in on a determined Eliza> Eliza: Because I'm not threatening in individual challenges. <Tracy is then shown with a thoughtful look on her face> You know, as far as me, Brooke, and Sherea, we would be much less of a threat to the Fans, whereas I think Aras and Terry together would dominate. <Terry can be seen shifting his expression, before the camera returns to Eliza> You know, without them around, I think Jason would have a much better shot at winning Immunity, <Jason subtly nods his head in agreement> and so would Mikey B and Tracy… <Jeff is now shown again> Jeff Probst: Terry, <long pause> why should they get rid of Eliza and keep you? <A view of a burning torch is now shown, before the camera scrolls forward to show Terry again> Terry: Right now, they need somebody strong and I've got the brawn. <Mikey can now be seen staring ahead> I'm gonna keep competing at 110%; <short pause> heck, I'll even give 200% for these guys, and, uh, Eliza can't give that. <Eliza now tenses her expression> Second reason: the alliance with Aras and Ian is solid, <Another wide view of the entire Airai tribe is shown> and that's gonna take these guys a long way. <Jason is shown looking towards Terry, before the camera returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: So Mikey B, <long pause> it does sound, from all the talk tonight, like it's either Eliza or Terry going home… <The camera shows rapid clips of both Terry and Eliza. A close-up view of Mikey is then shown, as he nods his head> Mikey: I think we're all pretty much aware of it. <Another view of Jeff is then shown> Jeff Probst: <to Mikey> But I think you'd all agree that we've seen some pretty big blindsides lately. <A wide view of the entire Airai tribe is shown, as the castaways nod> If it was you, Mikey, and you didn't see it coming, totally blindsided, torch out… <Mikey interrupts Jeff> Mikey: Oh, if I go home anytime before the merge, I'm not the player I think I am; <Tracy is now shown smirking> I don't deserve to be in this game, because there's no reason why I would go home before the merge. I'll tell you that right now. That's a fact… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Jason turning his head, and then cuts back to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Tracy, <long pause> truth be told, are you feeling worried tonight, <Another quick view of Jason is shown, before the camera goes back to Jeff> or you feelin' okay? <The camera now focuses in on a thoughtful Tracy> Tracy: Truthfully, I don't feel vulnerable tonight, but I know there's always that chance. <A wide view of the entire tribe is shown, as both Mikey and Eliza look towards Tracy> You can't take anything for granted in this game, <A close-up view of Mikey is then shown, as he subtly nods> so the most you can do when you're at Tribal is hope for the best. <Terry can now be seen shifting his expression> Be prepared for the worst, but hope for the best… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows a close-up view of an expressionless Jason> Jeff Probst: Alright; <short pause> let's get to it. <Another wide view of all five Airai members is shown, before the camera turns back to Jeff> This time Mikey B has individual Immunity, <A close-up view of a smiling Mikey is then shown next> courtesy of Terry at the last Tribal Council. <The camera now scrolls over to Terry> You'll now pass it on to a tribe member who will be immune from tonight's vote. <Another view of the entire tribe is shown, as Mikey subtly nods his head. Jeff is then shown again> Know who it's gonna be? <An eerie sound is heard, as Tracy looks towards Mikey, and the camera focuses back in on him> Mikey: Yep; it's gonna be Jason… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows Mikey taking off the necklace and then handing it to Jason> Jeff Probst: Immunity comin' back to Jason: <pause> the guy who started this chain. <A smiling Jason is now shown putting the Immunity necklace around his neck> Jason: Sanctuary… <laughs> <The camera abruptly switches angles to show Jeff again> Jeff Probst: Everybody in this tribe has worn individual Immunity except Eliza… <A close-up view of Eliza is then shown, as she raises her eyebrows. A mysterious shift in the music then occurs, as the camera returns to Jeff> Jeff Probst: Alright; <short pause> you cannot vote for Jason; <Jason is shown smiling and nodding> everybody else is fair game. <Another view of Jeff is shown next> Jeff Probst: It is time to vote. Eliza, you're up. <A wide view of the main Tribal Council area is now shown, as Eliza can be seen standing up and making her way past the central fire>
<The camera scrolls over to Tracy and focuses in on her, before fading out to show Eliza arriving at the voting confessional and uncapping the pen. She begins to write a name down on her piece of parchment, before the camera shows a clip of an uneasy Mikey, and then goes back to Eliza, as she holds up her vote: Terry> Eliza: Terry, I'm having to write your name down one too many times. <The camera fades into a close-up view of Jason> Hopefully twice is enough… <A close-up view of a nervous-looking Terry is now shown, before the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Mikey placing his folded vote into the urn. A clip of Terry is now shown, as he walks up to the voting confessional and picks up the pen. The camera focuses in on Tracy, and then cuts ahead to show a smug Terry holding his vote up the camera: Eliza> Terry: Eliza, <long pause> I can't wait to see the look on that face of yours if it's you. <The camera shows a close-up view of Eliza, as she blinks several times> My only regret is that you can't go out in a blindside like Earl did… <Terry begins to fold his vote in half, as the camera fades out to show a wide view of the main Tribal Council area, and Tracy can be seen walking past the central fire. The camera now shows a close-up view of her piece of parchment, as she begins to write a name down. A view of an uncomfortable Eliza is shown, before the camera shows Tracy walking back to the benches. Jason can be seen standing up, before the camera scrolls over to a traditional Micronesian mask, and then fades out to show Jason holding his vote up to the camera, but it cannot be seen> Jason: <whispering> Um, this vote is for strategy tonight. <A quick clip of Eliza is shown> I think I have a chance to go a lot further in the game and possibly win the million dollars if you go home. <The camera now fades into a view of Terry, as he stares into the distance> Take care… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as Jason places his folded vote into the urn. A close-up view of the central fire burning is then shown, before the camera shows rapid views of both Eliza and Terry again, and then switches angles to show Jason sitting back down. Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the votes. <Jeff can be seen walking out of sight, before the camera fades into a view of Eliza, Mikey, and Tracy. A close-up view of a tense-looking Terry is then shown, before the camera scrolls over to an expressionless Jason. A wide view of the main Tribal Council area is shown, as Jeff returns back onto the screen with the voting urn in his hands. Episode 7 - Secret Scene: Ian Takes The Bait?
Brooke, claiming to be playing a more ruthless game than in Guatemala, attempts to use her relationship with Ian to her advantage in order to stay in the game.
Malakal Tribe - Day 17
<'Far East' plays, as the camera shows a view of the clouds shifting in the red-orange morning sky, and then fades out to show the sun rising. A faraway view of Malakal's island is now shown, as the camera scrolls closer to it and then cuts ahead to show Ian and Brooke walking along the beach> Brooke: I never got a chance to talk to you alone last night, so I wanted to say thanks for keeping your word and voting for Joel with us… <A close-up view of Ian is shown, as he nods> Ian: <to Brooke> I stuck to what I said I was gonna do, you know? <Brooke says "Yeah"> That's what I've been about since the very beginning of the game… <The camera continues to show Ian> Ian - CONFESSIONAL: When I came into this game, I knew that there were probably gonna be people who were gonna try and stab me in the back, <A wide view of several Malakal members back at camp is shown> and who are gonna try and use me to get further in the game, and Brooke very well might be one of those people… <The camera focuses back in on an expressionless Brooke> Brooke: <to Ian> I mean, I was shocked because we had talked about sticking together, and then Aras went and flipped… <The camera now shows Ian nodding his head> Ian: Well, he thought that it was gonna be Joel and then it was gonna be him… <Brooke is shown> Brooke: <to Ian> See, I don't get that. <Another view of Ian is then shown again> Ian: Because he trusted Mary, and she swore up and down that you girls had a plan. <The camera continues to focus on Ian for a few seconds, as indistinct conversation can be heard> Ian - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I wouldn't say that the relationship that I have with Brooke is dead, but it's hanging on by a thread, for sure. <laughs> <A wide view of both Brooke and Ian is shown next> She's done a lot of shady things lately, and I definitely don't want her to know that I'm having some doubts about her trust. <The camera zooms back in on Brooke again> Brooke: <to Ian> We told Mary that, but that was only because we didn't want them to vote for one of us. <Ian can be heard saying something inaudible> That's why Sherea was saying last night that we wish he came to us… <Ian is now shown with an unconvinced look on his face> Ian: <to Brooke> I'll give you that, for sure, <The camera shows Brooke shifting her expression> but I mean, you could have told him what you were saying to them so we weren't left wondering, like, "What the heck's goin' on?" <Brooke now nods her head> Brooke: We will; yeah. We'll keep the communication lines open. <Ian says "Absolutely"> Honestly, we just didn't know who to trust, but <pause> I'm still gonna watch your back. <Ian is shown> Ian: <to Brooke> Me too; I told you I would… <Another view of Brooke is then shown next> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Even though it's kindof looking like a bleak-looking situation for myself and Sherea, I think things still may be up for grabs. <The camera fades into a clip of Aras, Mary, and Alexis lying on the beach> I'm definitely not giving up, and <pause> if I want to win this game, I'm gonna have to be a little more ruthless and cutthroat than last time. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows another close-up view of Brooke. The screen then fades out> |

COMMENTS & QUESTIONS
(A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. Well, first off, it's getting kinda depressing to see Airai losing every single challenge, because I like them as characters a lot more than Malakal. Airai has more interesting personalities, while Malakal has Alexis, Aras, Ian, Brooke, and Mary. I liked the reward challenge because I've totally done that sort of puzzle before and it would be the type of thing I'd rock at. I called it though. Sherea was absolutely right that they needed to throw the challenge to boot either Terry or Aras, because those two are major schemers. However, on the other side of the coin, I didn't feel sorry for Brooke or Sherea because they were planning on screwing Aras over, so he pulled a Tom Westman and took them out before they could take him out. Seriously though, the Aras/Mary showmance is really starting to make me sick. I dislike showmances and I don't particularly care for either one of them as characters, so in effect, it's a lot like Amanda and Ozzy or Parvati and James right now. I hope Malakal loses immunity soon because they're just becoming extremely boring. The only good thing was Kathy's monologue during the reward which showed just how hilarious she can be. Now onto Airai, which is the better tribe. First off, I knew Eliza would feel betrayed, but I also knew she would never in a million years work with Terry. It seems like the favorites' days are numbered in this game, as they're now down to just five, and among those five, they're still divided. Now, am I surprised Mikey found the immunity idol? No. It could definitely be a major plot point down the road, or even in the next tribal council if Airai loses again. I'm liking your version of Jason much more than the show's because Jason actually seems like he has SOME common sense. He knew Mikey had the idol, and again, I think that if Airai loses immunity again, Mikey could get blindsided out of the game because of it. Currently, Eliza is all alone on the Airai tribe and she's basically an easy boot. But if Jason knows Mikey has the idol, and he also knows that Eliza can pull in Brooke/Sherea while he/Tracy can pull in Kathy, then it might be more advantageous to blindside Mikey soon in order to get the idol out of the enemy's hands, and to ensure that Mikey doesn't flip and rejoin with Joel once the merge happens. Tracy would be down with that because she and Jason are tight, and Eliza would do anything to save her skin. The only flaw in that plan is that if they boot Mikey, then they'd have an alliance of 6 with three favorites and three fans, which would mean a tie could come up along the road. On a note related to THIS episode though, I'm very happy to see Terry finally go home. He was basically turning into what Joel turned into on the actual show (ironic if you think about it), so I'm happy to see him finally go home and cut down Aras' options. I think Ami's departure helped Eliza a little, because by cutting out one of her allies, that made her more easy to beat later on. You don't want to align yourself with someone who has THREE people waiting in the wings on the other tribe, after all. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Kathy's monologue, no question about it, although Terry going home is close. (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) 9 (D) Do you have any questions about this episode that you'd like to see cleared up in a future episode or at the Reunion Show? Brooke, did you think Sherea was right about how you should've thrown the challenge to boot Terry or Aras? 1. SOLE SURVIVOR POLL (A) Which castaway will be the Sole Survivor? Tracy 2. WHAT'S NEXT POLL (A) Which castaway will be voted off in Episode 8? Mikey for Airai, Mary for Malakal. (B) Do you have any other predictions for Episode 8? (Sorry for no preview again...) Most of my predictions were discussed up above already. 3. POPULARITY POLL (A) Please rate each castaway's popularity from 1-10. 1 is the lowest score, while 10 is the highest. Please try to base your ratings only on the likeability of the characters in my story, not how they appeared on the real show. Alexis - 3 (Blah) Ami - 6 Aras - 1 (I hate showmances) Brooke - 5 (See Alexis) Chet - 2 Dave - 8 Earl - 5 Eliza - 9 (Always fighting to stay alive) Erik - 6 Ian - 5 (See Brooke) Jason - 10 (Best alliance ever) Joel - 7 (Boring in this episode, but not bad) Kathy - 10 (Best alliance ever and hilarious) Mary - 1 (See Aras) Mikey - 8 (He lost points for wanting to keep Terry) Natalie - 6 Ruth Marie - 3 Sherea - 5 (She's one-note, and not even as bombastic as in China) Terry - 1 (He's a dick, plain and simple) Tracy - 10 (Best alliance ever) 4. EDGIC POLL * For readers familiar with the concept of Edgic. For more information Edgic, please visit this thread: EDGIC (A) Edgic for my fanfics has been very successful over the past few seasons, so I would love to get some reader involvement in determining Edgic ratings again. EPISOD 6 chart is currently unavailable. I will post a list of the ratings ASAP. * Please factor in your own ratings for Episode 7 for the following questions 1) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think have the best chance of winning? 1. Tracy (She had kind of a cooling down episode while still staying CP, and I just think that a fan is going to win and complexity has remained on Airai.) 2. Joel (His edit is like the inverse of Tracy's, getting his cooldowns when she gets her CPs, but I think he's still a strong candidate to win.) 3. Jason (He's been looking very good as an edgic candidate and since I think a fan WILL win, he's looking very good right now. (4.) Brooke (There's a big gap between the first three and Brooke. She's just not up to snuff with the others and she seems to have no storyline, even when her alliance is part of the action. It's only her numbers that are keeping her in it right now for me.) (5.) Eliza (She's all but eliminated for me too, but she's still got the opening stuff, two cooldown episodes, and she's mainly been high-visibility because the action has been forced to revolve around her.) (6.) Aras (He's got the numbers for an Ethan-like edit, I guess, maybe more of a bad boy Ethan.) 2) Based on Edgic, which Survivor(s) do you think are not eligible to be the winner, and are therefore "eliminated?" Kathy (Too over-the-top and cartoony), Mikey (Too over-the-top and negative and WAY too much like his hero, Dave), Alexis (She's barely even freaking there.), Ian (He had an invisible and he's been extremely neglected thus far.), Mary (She has an INV and she was too ignored early on, especially when he tribe was going to tribal council.), Sherea (No story, she's just a caricature.) |
