I can't begin to understand those betting odds

But as much as I want Mario to leave, I find it hard to believe Stephanie would stay over him.. just because she is the pretty blonde and people would vote her out just for that. Are the odds usually right with BB UK?

Yeah, they normally are.

Its not that surprising with the more recent daily shows. From Mario chatting with public enemy #1 Alexandra to bitching out Steph and anyone else every second he gets a chance, I can see why the odds have swung. Of course, if Mario looked like Dale, it would definitely be Steph.

Although its sort of a running joke that the young girl always goes in this, its really not always the case. Chanelle, Nikki, etc. were all popular and young. Steph toned down her bitchiness from the beginning and calls out Alexandra, so thats definitely helped her I'm sure.

Im not surprised. Stephanie was really hated in the beginning for ruining the task and pretty much everyone voted in the mad rush of voting on the first day. Mario didn't start to be hated until the end of the week.

The betting odds are fixed.

Of course BB started showing negative footage of Mario while showing positive footage of Stephanie. It had already been too late to save her. Then the betting odds switch so that foolish people will start thinking that Mario will go while people who stick to the original choice of Stephanie make more money.

We need Vote To Save, then Mohammed and Rex wouldn't stand a chance. Also, it would've resulted in Lisa leaving in Week 1. The person with the most negative attributes always goes home under the current system. If Chanelle were in this season, the public would vote her out over Rex. This shitty system is how the well liked Michelle went home before Stuart, Dan and Shell. It's how Kemal/Science were slayed by Orlaith, etc...with vote-to-save Nikki never would've been close to leaving, yada yada.

They would have gone exactly the same way since there were only two nominees

The same happened in CBB3, which had vote-to-save for the whole run. John and Jackie were the most COLOURFUL characters but were in direct head-to-heads so went early. If they had 3+ people up for eviction then Caprice/Jeremy/Kenzie would have been more likely to leave than either of them.

Rex would survive any vote-to-save now he is a martyr for Alex-hate. Lisa, Rebecca and Mo would be doomed. It'd be nice to switch to having 3+ people always up for eviction, but people vote more out of hate than love. And it would deprive us of epic Maxwell vs. Science showdowns.

Not necessarily. If it's vote-to-save, I'm sure plenty of people that disliked both Orlaith and Science would not have bothered to vote. Since it's vote-to-save and not "lets make Orlaith's life miserable and keep her in the house and/or vote out the person more prone to conflict" it's instead "do I like either of these two enough to save them?"

At Betfair Stephanie has higher odds to win than Alexandra :D

About the vote to save / evict, the system used in my country is that you can vote both ways at every eviction. This gives much more control to the viewing public. I wonder why UK doesn't do these votes as both evict & save?

Stuart's current odds to win are not that impressive. It's between Rex and Dale, who are both middle of the pack. 'Any Other' is still fourth favourite to win.
