What does her looks have to do with her ability to cook?

Nothing. She's ugly AND her food was consistently lousy enough to land her in the bottom grouping nearly
every week...

I wouldn't be too surprised if it was demonstrated that Lisa's perma-bitchface had a negative effect on her food (above and beyond her bad cooking).

No matter what anyone says or thinks, Lisa DID make it to the final 3, she beat out everyone else to get there, her food had to be good enough to make it
that far, and again, that is a fact. Barftonia didn't make it, and if her food was good enough, she would have.
ETA: She comes off quite greasy in most of these pics also.

I dunno, CP... I think its closer to a tie between the two.

I think it's more of a tie between Richard & Lisa for second with Steph taking the lead. Steph=woman. Richard & Lisa=2 dudes

Lisa is definitely Richard's brother from another mother.
I love though Lisa-love-come-lately. Lisa fandom up to the finale was all about her being a "spoiler" (i.e. her food sucked and she outlasted "better" chefs), and now that she lost (big surprise only to those on crack), her cooking must've been great to make the finale. It would be excellent if she stormed off the reunion set in shame like past BRAVO contestants. |

Even with that fugly skirt and tank top, I don't see an ounce of femininity in Stefatnie's face, I actually think Richard looks more female than her,
and he has better hair!

Even though Dale only won one Elimination challenge and made the final 3 back in season 3, at least he won at least one quick fire and wasn't perpetually the second choice every week to go home. |

In theory, that may be true, but this is reality TV we are talking about. Much more than the quality of her food comes into play when they decide whom to eliminate. I would venture that her food was NOT good enough to make it and that she WAS, in fact, the worst chef on at least one or two eliminations, but they kept her because producers felt she brought more to the show than the chefs who were eliminated instead. |

I don't know though, you really think that Lisa brought more to the show than say Spike or Antonia did? I don't buy it. If it was based more on
personalities and such, Stephanie wouldn't haven't made it that far. ((just because she is the most boring of the bunch, by far)) There were a ton more
dramatic and bolder personalities that could have been kept over Lisa, Like Andrew or Dale.. They would have added a lot more to the show, by far.

Yes but by keeping her week after week they made her story more interesting. It is not that hard to conjure up a "let's keep the ugly fat chick week
after week even though she sucks then we'll sucker the audience into thinking she could win in the final episode. Yeah! It's brilliant!"

There were a ton more dramatic and bolder personalities that could have been kept over Lisa, Like Andrew or Dale.. They would have added a lot more to the show, by far. But what Dale added by being cut when he got cut was the "shocking elimination". That's an important element, too, in the reality TV formula. If Lisa had been eliminated, she wouldn't have provided that. Also, I think Dale was cut because he was the "executive chef" and he failed to manage Lisa. If she hadn't sucked so badly, he wouldn't have been punished for it. I don't think anybody denies that his food is better than hers... |
