I can't believe they found Earth. Holy frakkin' shit, they found it. This episode was fantastic, one of the best hours of television I'd ever
seen. This sucks that we have to wait (hopefully at the very least) six months for the remainder of the episodes. *Puts all the DVDs on Netflix and waits for
them to come.*

Feh. Leoben and Deanna are going to be Bobby Jon & Stepheme part II and Ulong the toasters into oblivion.
I loved that ep last night so much my spine's glowing. Lingering question: so who was it Deanna apologized to in the Temple way back when. One of the 4 (Tigh?) or the 15th? |

re-watching it now. It is fan-fracking-tasctic. Everything so well played out, and the final panning shot of all the major characters and their reactions was
brilliant. Loved the emotion portrayed with out even saying anything. uh 6 months is going to kill me. And seeing the commercial for Stargate Atlantis just
showed how piss poor the production is on that show in comparison.

I feel like D'Anna apologized to Saul, but that's because I frakking love Tigh and his uber-eye.

Wow. and the final cylon isn't on the fleet. Does that mean it someone they were holding hostage? Baltar or Roslyn, basically.

I took it to mean, someone who was not in the colony at all. Perhaps someone on Earth. Suggest studying earlier episodes about temples and opera houses and
stuff.

yeah, that's certainly a possibility. But the reveal of the final model seems kind of anticlimatic now, if it's not crucial to finding earth. I wonder
how they'll make it relevant to the plot of the show?

Grrrr on the final skinjob not being revealed. Anybody notice Deanna said it wasn't with the fleet though? So maybe a newbie on Earth or something?I still think its that Kendra chick from the Razor movie. Why introduce a new character just to kill her off and make it pointless in the end? Assuming there were no other copies of her in the fleet, she wouldn't be there and she'd have to be somewhere else. Was anyone else expecting to see the Statue of Liberty and a bunch of apes riding in on horses? I agree that the final 5 reveal is gonna be anticlimactic now, unless its totally shocking. It can't be someone like Dee or Gaeta anymore, that would just be so lame. The idea that God is the final cylon crossed my mind too, maybe its that? What a great episode though...so good. I can't believe we have 6-7 months to go for the last episodes though, that'll be a long and painful wait. Still, this show is so amazing. I really want to rewatch from the beginning before the final episodes, just to see if everything starts to fall into place more. |

I think it's kind of cool that I no longer care who the fifth Cylon is. Not that it isn't important, but it had the potential of turning into a
Carver-type plot where everything hinged on the reveal, making it anti-climactic. I don't think it will be as anti-climactic any more because the Earth
story line opens up so many more possibilities. Will the humans and rebel Cylons now have a big rumble against the other Cylons? Will they duke it out with
themselves over occupying Earth? Religion? Government? Or maybe in the end Adama turn to the camera, look directly into it and say, "The final
Cylon...............IS YOU." Dum dum DUM.

^^ That would be ripping off Ray Bradbury and his Martians book ending. That would be the capstone nailing the last set of episodes as totally lame.
Question about reproduction: is Tigh's jailhouse squeeze pregnant? I missed that. |

Yes, it was revealed that Caprica Six is pregnant with Tigh's baby in possibly the hottest old man fight scene ever:
I would've liked to have seen Caprica Six's reaction to being pregnant with Tigh's baby along with a celebratory "Welcome-to-the-Cylons" frak party following his revelation as a Final Fiver. But I guess she must be cool with everything and still madly in love with him, as evidenced by her sympathetic lover's caress in the final scene on Earth. |

I'm still in shock at the ending.
Where the hell is the final cylon? Nothing was alive on Earth, that's for damned sure. |

As I watched the ending, I kept thinking that they should keep searching other continents, maybe even the west coast or Canada. |

Well, let's not jump the gun -- this might be localized destruction, or there might be survivors there, or cylons...the possibilities are huge. The final
cylon might be some sort of zealot or have its own resurrection hub. Who knows?
Why all the shock, tho -- what were they expecting when they got to Earth? And why can't I get Will Smith's stupid "Welcome to Erf!" out of my head? |

I think D'eanna was apologizing to Anders, for wanting to kill him on Caprica.

It seems to me that the final cylon is the one who's sending the
signals to the final 4. Who activated their "switches" and told them to look at the viper, and who also sent signals and music to Kara about the
location of Earth. Even though Kara is apparently not a cylon, she seems to have some connection to the final cylon. I'm thinking perhaps Kara actually
does have a child and the cylons did steal something from her on New Caprica. It's unclear whether Kara has both of her
ovaries.

Missy,
Thank you! So if Cylon skinjobs can reproduce, what's the big deal about any hybrids? I'm not going to waste time by trying to make sense out of any of this. More and more this is looking like this season was pulled out of the producers' asses. The story went one season longer than they planned and they never really thought through the story arc to any detail, just some high dramatic and 'wow' points. No final cylon reveal yet. Big whoop. They found a destroyed Earth. At this point I don't really care who or what destroyed it. Anything else is anticlimactic. The last half of the season will be an epilog. |
