A few of us got daily updates made from the hospice where snoop spent his last weeks.
In those updates Shag put aside the character that she plays here in our little shared psycho drama and showed us
an intelligent and powerful woman dealing with a lousy situation with more grace than you might expect.
We are not supposed to have to marshal that kind of personal greatness at her tender age but she did
have to and she did so with style grace and the kind of poignant wisdom that only comes through great tests of character.

It is my thesis that for the most part we are all caring and reasonable people who only role-play
at being assholes in this joint and the others which make up the splinterverse. Thanks for proving me right again folks.

Lately I've made a few statements (here and there) about the line which delineates "Basic Human Decency"
and a tendency for this place to be a magnet for those who have no clue where that line lies.

For those still wondering about that , the six pages of postings here so far exhibit a hundred - plus -examples of it.



In my faith, we celebrate a feast for life and a greater feast for death.

It is a path we will all travel and it is a tremendous gift to travel it at all!

After arrival at the destination beyond the concerns of this life, the quality of our seat on the train is not an issue.

But the quality of our fellow travelers is, so Shag baby, be happy that you shared your own gifts sitting next to snoop when it counted.
