9-26. That's just pathetic. What a fraud. Twisted, I think you're better off rooting for the Knicks

WOW great job by Pierce coming back and draining those two threes in a row and not to mention played outstanding defense.
Defensive standouts for me were PJ Brown, Pierce, Ray and of course KG. Overall it was terrific defense in the second half. My favorite play of the game was Pierce's four point play although I loved Garnett saving the C's from a back court violation. Lots of hustling by the Celts. |

I don't really care who wins the series but it was disappointing seeing Kobe sort of %+$%* into T-Mac in this one.

With the outdated 2-3-2 format, the Lakers only need a split in Beantown before they return home and run the Celtics right out of the Staples Center.

Dunno. But I like the 2-3-2 format and wish they never had adopted 2-2-1-1-1 in the earlier rounds nor had they made the first round of the playoffs a 7-game
series. The NBA playoffs last way too fucking long this way.

2-3-2 is the only way to go. Anything else is retarded. Best chance to not be in a bad hole without all the travel. It's hard enough traveling two states
away two times a week in college. Coast to coast 4 times against NBA talent would suck.

I am not a fan of the 2-3-2 format, but I agree that the first round of the playoffs was a lot more exciting with just 5 games.

The travel never bothered me when I played. Here or overseas. And I booked my tix and carried my bags. Such pussies. We'll just write that off as a level of competition thing. 2-3-2 killing home court is propaganda. Anybody would want to be the home 4. But I guarantee the white unis want to play the middle 3 without the travel. Didn't the Heat just win 3 in a row at home a couple years ago? Don't believe that 3 in a row hype. The players don't. How would you like to be Ray Allen losing 3 hours and getting to run around and try to shake Kobe. Or Kung Pau Chicken Gasol having to to step ahead 3 hours to face KG 3 different times. This isn't some rec center league. We hated a Sat. game that was pushed up to an 11 am start for tv. Those guys bust their asses playing. They're not pussies. You have to travel, you travel. Doesn't mean you can't not like it. Like a colonoscopy. You have to do it, but you don't have to like it. |

Ahhhhhh! I hate the Magic Johnson-Larry Bird split screen commercials. For some reason the hideous combination of the two just freaks me the fuck out.
