Eliza, Thanks for an incredible job of clearing up many Survivor mysteries. Here are a few questions I still have:
1.When you go off to do a confessional, how many SEG crew are observing? For example, 2--the camera man and one producer, etc or more?fewer? 2. When you say "producer" on the island, does that mean the big wigs like Mark Burnett and Charlie Parsons, or is it really an assistant producer who could be different every time? 3. In the voting area at TC, what are you looking at? Just a camera? One person holding a camera? Several people--if so, what roles do they play? 4. When you are asked a question off camera and must respond to it on camera, are you coached in how to answer? For example, give complete sentences so the viewer understands what the off camera question was. If so, is there a name for that procedure? 5. If there is a challenge involving correspondence from home, and you lose, and thus do not get to view your own correspondence, may you view it after being voted off, like at Ponderosa? 6. How many SEG crew stay on your tribe's island near your camp? What roles do they have? (camera man, nurse, psychologist, etc) Inquiring minds want to know!! |

Hi Eliza. Not that I'd imagine law professionals or New Yorkers in general to get too starry eyed about anything, but have your appearances on Survivor
been a hindrance at all in your law career? Is it harder to be taken seriously? Do people typically ask a lot of questions about it, or is it basically a
non-issue?
Thanks! |

1.When you go off to do a confessional, how many SEG crew are observing? For example, 2--the camera man and one producer, etc or more?fewer? They don't do confessionals. They do interviews. The producers sit them down and ask pre-prepared questions. There is no such thing as a Survivor confessional, the players aren't supposed to even talk to the cameramen. |

JDeanUT wrote: I have not found it to be a hindrance to my legal career. If anything, it is something interesting to discuss during interviews. It makes me unique and
interesting. It's pretty much a non-issue, although I was observing a trial last week and one of the jurors came up to me in the elevator and said he was
sorry if he had been staring at me, but he was a HUGE survivor fan. The attorneys I was with didn't even know I was on the show, so I had to do a little
bit of explaining, but it was no big deal.

Eliza, did you or anyone else ever find out if the F2 this season was because of James' injury, and are they sticking to it or going back to F3?

producer. So usually 4 people.

would have a jury of 7 and a final two. It makes no sense to have such a high risk of a tie for the final vote. I don't know if they will continue with it
or not, but it makes for good tv -- never assume anything in the game of Survivor. I wonder how the Gabon contestants will deal with that. Will people make
final 2 alliances this time? What do you guys think?

SenseiKreese wrote: This is only somewhat accurate. If you have something to say that you feel wasn't asked in a confessional or something comes up that you want to talk
about, you can set up a confessional with the producers. You tell them you want to talk to them and then you can speak whatever is on your mind. The usual
format is question and answer but it's not the only format. Also, they give you an opportunity at the end of the Q&A to say anything they missed.

getting real wrote: If you watched my Ponderosa video or my final words, I said I thought Ozzy was going to win it all, because, despite my pointing out the obvious to
everyone there (that he had the idol AND was a challenge threat AND was making friends this time around), I thought they were too dumb to act upon it. So to
see what I thought would never happen come to fruition was a huge shock to me and I did receive a great deal of satisfaction from it for my contribution, but I
was incredibly surprised to see it happen.

Eliza, did you feel Ozzy was a bitter asshole?
Was anyone else really bitter at Ponderosa? I was just rewatching the beginning of micronesia, and I noticed a scene that I had forgotten; when the couples pulled you to the fire and you guys talked. Ozzy said that Yau, Jonathan, and Cirie had to go, suggesting that order. It also sounded like they were saying Yau and Cirie because they were physical liabilities... why didn't you tell Cirie exactly what they said? Or did you and she didn't care? Doesn't seem like a Cirie thing to forget it though. Ps, get Cirie to come back!! I think she forgot us. |

Hey Eliza,
Hopefully this hasn't been addressed already. Just wondering -- when you sign your contract at the beginning, does it outline all of the rules of Survivor, including what will happen in the event of a tied vote? Also, did you guys discuss the idea of a tied vote (a tied vote with more than four people) and the purple rock, much? Does it ever get brought up at tribal council? And finally, was there anyone out there who was a bit clueless about the game from not having watched too many previous seasons? |

Yea, I'm dying to know...I'm so sick of this purple rock talk EVERY season when we've only ever seen it once...12 SEASONS AGO!!! Who says
that's the tie breaker in the first place??
