Ilan is just nasty, in everyway. He's not a bad cook (not the best in season 2 for sure), but I'd never want to eat anything he's prepared.

Completely disagree! This one is way better than last year's. I think it's like Idol -- Seasons 1 and 4 are good, Season 2 is filled with drama and
intrigue even though the contestants mostly bite, and Season 3 flat out SUCKS...

That's cos you didn't like Hung. I loved him. And there were a lot of good chefs last year, I don't think anyone made the finals (even the final
5) who didn't deserve it. Unlike this year's Spike and Lisa debacle. It's bringing down the rest of the show.

I loved last season. There was modest drama (the whole Howie/Joey thing), and I agree that the chefs at the end were all good. Brian is so much better than
Spike or Lisa it's a joke.
BTW, by my personal early "edgic-style" analysis (which is really just a gut feeling based on early confessionals), I am terrified that Richard is going home. I think he should win, but I am feeling scared for him right now. I can't see Lisa beating him, but if they decide to have F2 instead of F3, I can a dual-boot of Lisa and Richard, with a Steph/Antonia finale. But it would be a shame not to have Steph v Richard. |

So far, I agree with Wilo Lisa and Stephanie's food seemed tasty (with an edge to Lisa for trying to do a mofongo and not sucking at it) with Antonia and
Richard getting thrown to the bottom for doing raw plantains.
Also, I miss Puerto Rico, I miss it so much.
