Is it weird since I haven't seen Battlestar Galactica in over a week that I'm dreaming of it? I dreamt I was on the ship and we finally managed to find Earth. Everyone was all excited, but then the Cylons came. The part of the ship where I was in exploded, and I was sucked out into space before I woke up. I must be going slightly crazy. Maybe the break is the right thing for me... |

Well. That episode was full of WTF. Pregnant Brig-6 and Baby Daddy Tigh? Romo's dead cat? Formerly batshit-crazy Starbuck back as CAG? Leeland?
President Leeland? Adama/Roslin 4eva? Previews for next week?
At least Jake apparently survived New Caprica. And Lee's new red shirt was sexy. |

This episode was HORRIBLE. They spend 4 whole seasons beating around the Adama/Roslin love bush, and then this episode he suddenly, abruptly, acts like a
teenager in love?! wtf! Of course they completely skip the cliffhanger of last week and deal with boring shit.
I was honestly so bored I kept wondering when it would end. What a complete waste of an episode. This whole "Lee turns into a politico" may make sense as far as his character, but the way they went about it is sooo disjointed from the rest of the show, that its just random and pointless. I hate Lee's character so much this season. And like someone else mentioned...Kara is totally normal now, and no resolution from the Demetrius? God what a piece of shit this episode was. 
Again, next week LOOKS good, but I'm wondering if it even will be. But yay for D'anna being back!! |

Lee Adama is the dramatic millstone of this show.

The politics stuff was borrrrring. It was immediately obvious that Lee would be president and then they are all like "who? who? who?" Duh,
Lee's a major character that the head of the show adores - obvious - (and rather unrealistic - but what's new about that?)
Dead cat was disgusting - no clue what the point of that was - maybe the writers don't like cats? Kara back in charge makes no sense either - totally agree there - so now they trust her again? Why? The cylons she found just kidnapped their president - now she is trustworthy? Just talking with a cylon turned her crew just before. I'd take kidnapping a bit more serious - it's proof instead of suspicion. Lee's red shirt was very nice, looked like it was tailored to fit his body - so do they just have tailors and raw materials sitting around? Also makes no sense. Anyone remember Matrix where they wore ratty old clothes? Galatica's fleet clothing doesn't have to be ratty yet - but I don't think they have a men's clothing shop either - I guess we can pretend there was a cargo ship heading to somewhere. |
