I'm going to figure out a way to strap it onto my own vein to keep the monitor going. That being said... my husband has that creepy 'sleep w/ your eyes open' thing so I just knew when I saw Keamy after Alpert shot him that he wasn't dead. ~~~~~~~~~ After the comments re: Jack's phantom earlobes, I realized that when I was watching Part 1 again, I was painfully distracted by Sun's left nostril. It was 3am when I watched it, so maybe I was just sleepy but it disturbed me because I thought she had a much more perfect face than that. Can anyone get a shot of her when she's telling Pops off?

Why did Ben need to blow a hole through the Dharma bunny transport pod to get to the wheel? Are we to assume that there was no other entrance to the cave to go down to the frozen donkey wheel? And if we are supposed to assume that, are we to assume that Dharma built the bunny transport pod over the entrance to the donkey wheel to keep it covered up? And if thats true, at what point would they do that? Obviously, they had polar bears with dharma harnesses on moving the donkey wheel at one point...how did they get the bears down there? And it seems like Ben has moved the wheel before...he new which direction to push it and everything :P And if thats true, he must have gone down there before Dharma covered the entrace up with a wall? Doesnt make sense.

Boone, Libby, Charlie... It doesn't mean anything. That's why they didn't include that part in the original footage of the episode. It was only added because so many fans had been questioning who the 3 were. My personal thought is that it was a nice way to remember a few of our favorite characters no longer on the show.

Just thought I would point out (although this has already probably been mentioned) that the turning of the key by Desmond probably did the same thing that happened when Ben turned the wheel. The sky turns purple, everyone is overcome by a white light, and the same sound comes up. The station's video says that objects that are organic can be transported through time, but nothing inorganic. This could be why Desmond wakes up naked and able to shift through time (like the rabbits) after he wakes up.

Either the Swan hatch was built near another deposit of that strange matter or they somehow bottled some up and were manipulating in the station. I'd guess the 108 minute reset was required to keep it form blowing up or something like what happened in the other hatch when Ben threw the metal in the time transport chamber. I figure the producers will give us all the answers next season. Yeah, right.

She came in and I said "omgggg SO - were you shocked by Penny's boat rescuing the O6???". Shen then told me her cable was out and she hadn't seen the finale yet. Followed by "I KNOW you didn't just tell me Penny shows up. Do NOT even mention Desmond or I'll make my mom fire you !!!!!!". Yes, her mother is my boss. LoL

Anyone? And I don't think the polar bears were to turn the wheel...how freaking often do you think anyone turned the wheel? I think they were used by Dharma to experiment about sustaining life in strange climates....and also were used to practice time/space travel...before or after the bunnies. That's why there was a skeleton of a polar bear with a Dharma collar buried in Tunisia. It was sent back in time. That confirmes that the FDW is old...along with the primitive markings in the FDW chamber.

You would think that the makers of the pod would have thought of making a side entrance to access the wheel instead of just blocking the tunnel with the pod itself. The best part for me of course was Penny showing up out of nowhere and rescuing them.
