Boone, Libby, Charlie... It doesn't mean anything. That's why they didn't include that part in the original footage of the episode. It was only added because so many fans had been questioning who the 3 were. My personal thought is that it was a nice way to remember a few of our favorite characters no longer on the show.

Either the Swan hatch was built near another deposit of that strange matter or they somehow bottled some up and were manipulating in the station. I'd guess the 108 minute reset was required to keep it form blowing up or something like what happened in the other hatch when Ben threw the metal in the time transport chamber. I figure the producers will give us all the answers next season. Yeah, right.

She came in and I said "omgggg SO - were you shocked by Penny's boat rescuing the O6???". Shen then told me her cable was out and she hadn't seen the finale yet. Followed by "I KNOW you didn't just tell me Penny shows up. Do NOT even mention Desmond or I'll make my mom fire you !!!!!!". Yes, her mother is my boss. LoL

Anyone? And I don't think the polar bears were to turn the wheel...how freaking often do you think anyone turned the wheel? I think they were used by Dharma to experiment about sustaining life in strange climates....and also were used to practice time/space travel...before or after the bunnies. That's why there was a skeleton of a polar bear with a Dharma collar buried in Tunisia. It was sent back in time. That confirmes that the FDW is old...along with the primitive markings in the FDW chamber.

You would think that the makers of the pod would have thought of making a side entrance to access the wheel instead of just blocking the tunnel with the pod itself. The best part for me of course was Penny showing up out of nowhere and rescuing them.

At first I thought it was after but now I'm not sure Faraday survived. If everyone on Faraday's rubber boat was killed; who is left on the island? Locke, my boyfriend Sawyer, Juliette, Charlotte, Miles, Rose, Bernard and The Others. Did anyone else stay or get left behind? Wouldn't they have been on the beach with Juliette when the boat exploded since they would have been waiting for Faraday to come back? When Charlotte said she was looking for the place where she was born it threw me. I thought Alex and Aaron were the only babies ever born on the island becaues none of the other pregnant women survived their 2nd trimester.

I thought Alex and Aaron were the only babies ever born on the island becaues none of the other pregnant women survived their 2nd trimester. Because Charlotte must have been conceived off the island just like Aaron & Alex were.

This could of course just be a corner cut by the SFX department but it could also be a loophole by which Jin could have survived, having jumped in the water or something (not so crazy, as he knew the bomb was gonna blow).

I did indeed notice this. In fact, I specifically looked for it when re-watching last night, and didn't see anything. It COULD be a mistake in the special effects, but I'd bet on Darlton using this as a scapegoat to keep Jin alive.

Posts: 7660 (05/31/08 1:07 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think it's obvious the producers left Jin's status a little bit in the air but frankly it's hard to see how he could have survived that explosion even if he did jump over. Ben said that all of them were needed to go back, even Locke. Which means they have to gather everyone who left the island. Does this include Walt and Desmond? I think it does. All of the survivors are easy to pick up except for Desmond, who's with Penny, and it would explain why Sun approached Widmore for help in finding the island. They need to get Desmond. As for Daniel and the other red shirts, it's entirely possible that they were close enough to shift with the island but it's obviously up to the writers what happened to them. It's also possible they were out in the open ocean and picked up survivors from the explosion but it leaves a plothole in that those are people who also left the island that are needed to get back.
