Yeah, Joel said to Oz,"Erik is a strong guy, we need him" and Oz told Amanda to pick me.

I picked Ami on my own, I don't think Amanda said anything to me about it and I knew I liked Ami from her season.

I had no idea about the couples alliance, I realized right away that Oz and Amanda were a thing because they hung on eachother every night. I had no idea Parv and James were in on it until the merge when Amanda said to me,"You can be sixth in our alliance,.. behind Cirie and the two couples." I was like, FUCK SIXTH behind Cirie. Luckily that alliance imploded when Parv voted out Oz and I had a chance to make it a few places further, as well as Natalie.

c] When you guys re-merged as Dabu (your.shinning.moment.by.far <3) what was the dynamic? Could you tell Alexis/Natalie were close to Parvati?

I knew the girls were all very close, but I knew there were breaks in the alliances somewhere. Certain girls hated other girls, but I was in the dark as to what the girl's alliance rankings were. It is very apparent to see after editing; Parv on top with Alexis and Natalie on one side, and Cirie and Amanda on the other. When I got voted out I thought I had found the dissenters in the girls alliance; possibly Natalie and Cirie were the ones who didn't like Parv and Amanda as an alliance. I was way off, the girls never told me anything about how their alliances were so I had to kind of guess what the hell they were doing.

d] If Ozzy hadn't been blindsided what was your deal with him? Were you guys going to go final 5 with the couples and then duke it out?

Oz said on the Yap trip that me, him, and Amanda had a good shot at the final 3 by controlling the individual immunities and hidden immunity idols between ourselves. Obviously THAT plan went to hell.

e] When Ozzy was blindsided Amanda/James were livid with Parvati. At that point I really wished you had asked to team up with them. With Amanda as your inside on the girl's alliance and Jason as a potential number you guys could've gone far. So I guess my question is, was there any point in time when you thought of having a side alliance with Amanda/James?

Yeah, but the paranoia got to me. Amanda and I talked after Oz was out, and she suddenly was very sketchy. I was afraid she went to the girls alliance, and anything I told her would look like I was starting to turn threatening. I wanted as much attention on the other guys, so I just avoided strategizing in hopes they'd focus on James or Jason. James confused me too, he started to talk to me more after the Oz thing, but I still felt like he didn't trust me or care for playing the game for that matter. I didn't trust nor like Jason, and I wanted him gone before me, and I answered earlier that James despised Jason.

a] I always thought this was deliberate strategy on the couple-alliance's to have equal people on each side. If you guys had ganked Parvati, James would've been the only member of the couples alliance to be on Airai. Also observed that Parv/James and Oz/Amanda always ended up with eachother throughout the game. i.e. rewards, etc. I wondered if it was because they were being lover-ly or if they were playing.

b] That was stupid of Amanda. The way you talk about the game/strategy/relationships it seems like Amanda was the one you were closer to (from oz/amanda alliance) on the island but it never came across on the show.

e] And I think the passive approach to the game then, kind of worked. Kudos for that.
All the shit I am hearing about Jason from pretty much every single survivor makes me wonder how big of a douche he really is... Srsly, what did he do to deserve such hatred among castaways? lol

So you are mad at Ozzy for wanting to play the game and not at Parvati? Who wasn't playing to win a million? Heck, even Erik wanted Ozzy out (around the time Chet was voted off) to FURTHER himself. He'd have been stupid NOT TO.

I sure would've liked that final 3. Probably my dream final three and I can bet you it would've been a lot more competitive than two ducks and Amanda final three. Of course she won the last two challenges! The only person who could beat her physically (ERIK) was gone.

If Ozzy is as selfish as all his haters make him seem to be then he wouldn't have taken Amanda to F2. Personal feelings aside she had all the girls' vote. And he probably would've blindsided Parvati+Co to get there, so, she would've never voted for him. Natalie/Alexis share a brain and worship Parv. That's three votes right there! Jason hated Ozzy and had a thing with the rivalry. He didn't even vote for Amanda in the end because of her Ozzy-affiliations. I doubt that would've changed much even if he respected Ozzy as a competitor. James would definitely vote for Amanda, they have a history. So really, he would've known he'd never win against Amanda. Now, Ozzy and Erik as a final two would've proven more to be fans vs. fav thing producers wanted. It could've been interesting for sure.

Do note that the only person that wanted to keep Erik (big physical thread post-merge) was Ozzy. He almost got voted off trying to defend Erik, if you remember episode 6-7ish. You don't do that unless you are a) in alliance with that person b) see yourself as being aligned with that person down the line- I thought it was obvious that Ozzy wanted Erik to stay on for the end game. He knew he could manipulate him or win against him or whatever. Erik only confirmed my suspicion.

Okay I am done playing devil's advocate. You guys can ostracize me for taking Ozzy's side now. X]
