Sounds like even with a challenge only approach, people will figure out a way to keep themselves in the game whether weak or strong.

And, oh my God, guess what was happening on Pirate Master before it got cancelled??? People were starting to say screw the challenges, let's make alliances
to knock out the stronger captains and keep power in our little group. Hell, the second or third vote wasn't based on who the weak players were, as the
players that were chosen to possibly be voted off were all people who were loud about their dislike of the overbearing Captian Douchebag (forgot his name).
Then, a couple of councils later, the schizo who kept talking in Olde English tried to turn the tables an stack those who could be voted off based on if they
supported Captain Douchebag or not.
Sounds like even with a challenge only approach, people will figure out a way to keep themselves in the game whether weak or strong. |

I am satisfied, with how it is. I think it's more impressive win, if you use your brain to get to end. If I wanted to see people face off in a challenge.
I'd watch American Gladiators.

But of course that system you propose would be the best. And if anyone thinks Burnett and crew doesn't know his game is fucked, watch and learn. There will be major changes in the next season, all of them reflecting everything I've said here, preventing the weak from using simple outnumbering to vote out the threats, whether its new game methods, or starving them so that the (stronger) food gatherers matter once again, etc. |

Unless you want Survivor to continue to turn into Americas Next Retarded Model.

Artiee, here's a little factoid for you. The weak NEVER outnumbered the strong (except in Marquesas, and that was after the merge). The strong just make
enemies of the weak and the other strong players, so the other strong players team up with the weak to take them out. Chet, Tracy, and Kathy couldn't do
much on their own. But Joel took them in and used them to boot Mary and Mikey. Then Chet and Tracy couldn't do anything on their own, and even bringing
Cirie in wouldn't have helped. But Ozzy and Amanda joined them and beat them. So get it through your head that the weak do not hold the power in this
game. The strong or even the relatively strong hold all the power, and if they choose to use the weak, then that's their perogative.

Parvati pranced her way to the final 2 cos she knew anyone would have taken her.
Richard did the same in SEASON 1. Friggin SEASON ONE. So you don't say it is a wrong move. Call it whatever but it didn't require changing, nor a "weak" move. And once again, Tracy Chet and Kathy as a group of weaklings did not outnumber anybody. They didn't even make the merge. There was a reason why Sonja and BB got voted out first from their respective tribes. |

Artie, you're really Terry, aren't you? It all makes sense, your hatred for women, constant bitching about alpha males having no chance. You lost to
a 95 pound 25 year old girl and you can't handle it. You been bitching for 2 years about how you were robbed. You lost because you have zero social
skills. If you had any, you might have been able to convince Danielle you were her best shot, since everyone hated you. I think if she took you she would
have won, you would have pulled an Amanda and blew in in the FTC. Losing to her in the F2 would have definitely pushed you over the edge.

In the fall, Fox puts "The Moment of the Truth" against "Survivor." Fox and CBS got a taste of how "Truth" might fare against
"Survivor" earlier this season. During an off week, when "Survivor" shifted to a Wednesday to make room for CBS' college bas playoffs,
the two shows went head-to-head. "Truth" won. Survivor owned. In the spring, the newly
resurgent "Hell's Kitchen" goes into the spot. Survivor owned again.
No one likes a game show where the dumb and the weak succeed...except the dumb and the weak viewers who identify with them, and Survivor does not cater towards the dumb and the weak viewer. Result? "Look, it's eroding! It's an older show. Its eventually going to give up and were trying to accelerate that." - Fox entertainment chair Peter Liguori Unless there are major changes to prevent bimbos, fatsos, and retardos from outnumbering everyone else, the show is done.

It still doesn't change the fact that Parvati isn't going to be whoring herself for a while.
Also, serialized television (which you would classify Survivor as) typically doesn't do as well as standalone type shows; it's why The Moment of Truth does so well and why Arrested Development and Veronica Mars got hosed. No one likes a game show where the dumb and the weak succeed Explain to me how the dumb and weak have at all succeeded (for I too am dumb and weak). Chet/Kathy were gone pre-merge. Joel and Mikey were probably not getting near the merge had C/K been voted out prior to the swap (since there would obviously have been double boots). Erik went on an Immunity Run. Jason didn't have to go to TC for 4 episodes. Parvati isn't dumb and weak (and fuck you for making me defend her); I'd like to see you raise your arm up for 6 hours. To sum up: A) it's not my fault that Terry's retarded at strategy, so please do not punish me by making me have to watch a Terry clone plow through. B) if no one likes it, why is it still on? They could easily shove a CSI repeat in there. C) if you don't like it, why are you still watching? There's enough on TV Thursday's at 8 (and plenty of shit on the Internet) that it shouldn't really be a big deal |

"must-see", maybe I will switch to Hells Kitchen. At least Chef Ramsey punishes the weak and fragile. That is how it works, and that is what CBS is
terrified of. It's broke. A new system can fix it.

Survivor was a social experiment in this country long before Big Brother. Also, Chet didn't quit. He was going to be medevaced, but he asked them to let
him be voted out normally because he thought he would get to keep his dignity. Apparently not, since the editors treated him like shit and threw him under the
bus.
