Survivor was a social experiment in this country long before Big Brother. Also, Chet didn't quit. He was going to be medevaced, but he asked them to let
him be voted out normally because he thought he would get to keep his dignity. Apparently not, since the editors treated him like shit and threw him under the
bus.

Still need examples here, Artie. How OH HOW would your system, if enacted upon China/Micronesia, affect the results? And not just the typical, "The weak
get voted off" argument.

Did you NOT read the part about how Chet DIDN'T quit? Jonathan and now Tracy have BOTH confirmed this. He was going to be medevaced, but he decided to
stay in the game an extra day so he could get voted out with dignity.

Yay for cloning. Clone Tom 10 tomes, Terry 10 times. It will break all kinds of rating records.

ImANewUser wrote:The players who win the challenge will win immunity and will not get voted off. Asking for examples is irrelevant since unlike certain ass-kissers around here, I am unbiased and my system is completely based on merit; Whoever competes and succeeds gets and deserves immunity. Let me clear it up since I can sense a giant question mark above your head, and possibly a little drooling. Under the current system, what happens after the merge seems fair and equal and out of that group, whoever wins seems to have deserved to win. The problem is that before the merge, the game is about outnumbering on your own "team" so it is not the best players that advance. And once they do, they already have their pre-merge alliances that were formed under an unfair half-assed "team" system. Under my system, every challenge will rank the players based on merit. Only the worst will be eligible to be voted off. It doesn't matter what they do or plan, one of them will be voted off. This not only reflects what a Survivor should be, but real life as well; Winners get rewarded, losers get penalized. This is the type of system which pains loser viewers, who don't want to see other losers suffer as they do in their real life. So they rail against it as "unfair" or try to use their lil brains to anticipate how it would fail, like here: http://survivorsucks.yuku.com/reply/3004760/t/-idea--improve-Survivor---weaklings-dont-comprise--finals.html#reply-3004760 That clown re-posted his own question because they thought it was so brilliant, I dismissed it in two lines, and then they ignore my response. Result? Owned.

Um, life's not fair.* And should you decide to pitch this to SEG, they'll anticipate the pitfalls to see how it might fail also, since they don't want to take a risk on some shitty Cousin Oliver-type plan. * Therefore, the old system technically does reflect real life (not to mention what a Survivor should be, since the term is ambiguous). |

They know their game is fucked which is why they shat on Chet and Kathy in editing, to please the fans who hate losers. Its why they made a final 2 instead of a final 3, its why they mix-up tribes, its why they introduced the immunity idol, all aspects of the game meant to update their rotting system of teams-first, individuals-second. |
