It was totally too easy. And it looked fishy that neither of the other two could even muster a decent answer. My husband (who generally hates my Jeopardy
obsession) even said, are they kidding? What else could it be?
I don't see Larissa lasting. She's gonna run out of luck when it comes to dumb opponents at Final Jeopardy, and she's looked very vulnerable. I'd bet she makes it for a few days, maybe even a week or two, but I don't think Jennings should shake in his boots yet. They briefly talked about her at my audition, especially when they were talking about "being personable" and "pumping it up." |

Well no shit, She has 70 games left to go. Regardless of how good you are there is no reason to fret.
Still though, she is like 3rd place for all time jeopardy earnings in non tournament play. That's a huge accomplishment for just 5 wins. |

Good for you if the rest of the room were uber-nerds. Maybe after Larissa's reign ends they will have had their fill of them. And hopefully you'll have a better story than today's woman with the hideous socks! |

Either I was having a brain fart or I must be DUMB because I didn't know the answer either. I was thinking "give blood" even though it is a ridiculous answer. And I used to be a smoker!!! YAY FOR LARISSA!

Damn am I glad I recorded Jeopardy tonight since I knew I wouldn't be home & when I suggested I might to someone else, they said that surely it would
be a repeat b/c of Memorial Day Weekend.
Was that a close call but Larissa pulled it out in the end. She's a superfreak but I can't help but root for her and Jeopardy is just so much more fun when you have someone to really root for rather than these 1 day champs that lose and it's a never ending revolving door of newbies. I didn't know Final but as soon as I saw her answer of 'smoke' I knew that had to be right. What was up w/ the other answer of 'Execute?' What does that even mean in the context of the question? I can't see her lasting that long either but she's racking up big wins which will make her memorable. |

'Jeopardy' is the only US TV show I really want to watch but can't - almost every other show is downloadable or on cable. UK daily quiz shows
aren't as good.

I can understand how the other contestants didn't put together the answer to Final Jeopardy. In Quiz Bowl, sometimes there are easy questions that you
overthink them very easily, and that's what I thought too with last night's question. They must have been overthinking it, or they got paid to let
Larissa get another day as Champion. (Whoops, did I say too much? ;))
I'll be watching tonight to see what happens. She's had a lot of close calls, and I wanna see her blow some people out of the water again. |
