Playing guitar, designing clothes, painting, photography, reading about the 40's and the 50's, watching films, singing and recording myself, composing music, video editing, writing. Although I managed to pull off a solo acoustic gig with my playing when I was 17. Why did you apply for Pinoy Idol? I wanted to broaden my horizons as an artist. I had to break the concept of artistic obscurity because I always felt like something was missing and that dark art did not seem that fun anymore after a while. Where do you sing? N/A Which singers inspire you and why? Elvis, Bjork, Tori Amos, SARAH MCLACHLAN, Amy Winehouse, BILLIE HOLIDAY. They all never fail to make me feel alive and human. What's your claim to fame? I like reading books, varied interests really from chick literature, to Paulo Coelho, but my favorite would be Hanos Down fantasy books. I also like watching cooking shows. Ugh... what drugs were those judges on when they chose the top 24?
After watching the guys and the girls, I can't believe that a country that is known for great singers have a Top 24 like this. Aside from maybe one, or two, they are all unbearable. Maybe I was expecting more, but with past singers like Erik Santos, Christian Bautista, etc.... how can you not? |
