There's something about Buffy that I realized I really loved (other than all the other great stuff I love). They didn't feel the need to have every
character hook up with every other character. You had Buffy/Angel, Spike/Buffy, Oz/Willow, Tara/Willow, Xander/Cordelia, and Xander/Anya. Xander liked Buffy,
but they never did anything. There was a portion of season 3 where Xander and Willow got together, but it was dropped. They never made Angel hook up with
anyone (Cordelia later, but not on Buffy). It's refreshing that they didn't feel the need for everyone to sleep with everyone else.

Almost as strange as seeing Darla having two kids and dating a serial killer or being a Christian missionary captured by murderous Burmese military and being saved by John Rambo. |

I saw Kathy on my sister's Windsor pilates videos, she was the one doing the remedial moves for those with weak 'power-houses'.

According to tv.com, Dagney Kerr (Kathy) is a trainer at Mari Winsor's Pilates studio in LA and can be seen in many of the Winsor Pilates DVDs.

Total agreeance. It was such a different character to go to, but she is really good at it.

I didn't get it! I haven't seen that episode in a long time. I'm sure if I watched in recently, I'd have gotten it.
From what I remember that old lady was crazy. She drowned all those kids. |

So, go watch it and then you can laugh at my joke...or not as it wasn't really all that funny. Just amusing.

You forgot Rupert/Joyce and Spike/Anya.
Don't anyone bring up the Faith/Wood groping. Wood was weak. |

I was going for most of the main characters, so Anya/Spike can be included, but at least that was just a quick thing. They didn't have to couple everyone
up like other teen dramas.

Do they still publish the Buffy the Vampire Slayer magazine? I remember it came out during season six or so? I stopped buying it, I haven't been in a book
store in awhile. I know they got the comic book still continuing, from the comics I've read for season 8, it's been good.

I know they stopped publishing the Angel magazine.
I'll check on Buffy. Ain't it Cool News has 4 minutes of the Buffy cartoon. |

I'm nearing the end of my summer Buffy marathon. Unfortunately, since I don't own seasons 6 and 7 and didn't have the spare cash this close to
going back to school, I've had to Netflix them one disc at a time. It's taking forever. Currently I'm halfway through season 6 and it's just
like I remember. Dawn is annoying, Xander's not even there most of the time, and Spike/Buffy sex is gross.

Season 6, huh?
You could save time and just watch the 3 or 4 episodes that didn't suck. |

In hindsight I think season six had some interesting episodes. I really liked the episode "Normal Again" where Buffy begins to hallucinate that
Sunnydale is nothing more than a figment of her imagination and that she's been in a mental institution for years.
Tabula Rasa was a great episode as was Once More With Feelings. I am in the minority I know but I really liked the episode Gone and Double Meat Palace, I found them to be both really funny! I loved in Gone when the social service worker came to the house and looked through Willow's box and found the magic wheat! Buffy was like that's not what it looks like it's magic wheat! The arc leading up to Evil Willow was good. Compared to the other seasons it had a different tone to it and seemed depressing but the payoff was great. |
