I'm so disappointed! WHO?!Um.... have you ever heard of ... Crosby, Stills, & Nash, and/or Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young?? If not, brush up on your music history. :) :) They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 1997 (I believe). They were at Woodstock too. He has been writing and performing for over 30 years. |

AI is the promotion, but it's more about how the vast majority of the general public has no idea the album even exists and she's not allowed to mention
it. Being Itunes only also limits it to only about 20% of the music buying population as it is. People are likely by and large only discovering this on there
while looking for other Idol material and buying it on a whim which is awesome.
Are there official sales on this? Wiki says "Songs From the Attic has had 14,657 digital downloads and 2,894 hard copy sales sinces its re-release after her elimination, total records sales reaching about 22,000 since its first release." but that was only the first week. Since it's been decently steady, I figure another 15kish for this last week and then even more for the current one. She's going to end up doing really strong business for a rereleased, unpromoted independent label album. Right now... US Album: 6 Pop/24 All Yellow: 97 Pop Canada Album: 8 Pop/30 All Yellow: 91 Pop |

Oldest Frankie - Who thinks American Idol is the dumbest show ever- and doesn't watch. He hasn't cared for any of the ones that have had
"post" idol success ((or limited success)). Last night I had him listen to some of Brooke's music on You Tube ... and her performance with
Graham Nash ... and he really liked her. He hasn't liked Daughtry, Bo, Kelly, Carrie, etc ... so Brooke may appeal to a different group of people than
most idols. (Assuming she gets a deal.) He was impressed that she played piano, guitar, and could write some of her music.
Her songs are great on second listen. A few aren't as good ... but I still like them all. <3 Brooke. |
