I think Archie lost because he was one note.. All the guy sang was ballads and more ballads. And while his voice sounded amazing last night, it wasn't
anything new. In contrast, David Cook did all these fun numbers and everyone enjoys hearing him. I'm really concerned though that if they were willing to
throw Cook under the bus like they did and Randy mentioned "sympathy votes and Simeon how them over praising one helped the other" that they
aren't going to promote Cook like they could.. And that freakin bothers me... And I'm glad they didn't say it was a "close vote" because
it wasn't.
I think the thing is that those judges didn't take into account things like Itune sales etc... Cook is more radio friendly. He was totally classy winner, and he was so sweet to Archuleta. |

I am so happy for David Cook and his family. I can't imagine how weird it must be to celebrate one child's success while knowing you are about to
