Hey Kathy! Fantastic to have you posting here, and sharing your personal log. I was probably the first one to post your picture here, but claimed that you were Survivors first trans-gendered contestant. I hope you did not take too much offense to my obvious mistake. It was not meant as an insult as others may have thought. But I knew I was wrong when I saw you talking in the first promotion video, it was just a piss poor first promo pic that put me off track.

That aside, you quickly became one of my favorites in this show and I thought you were one of the best narrators this season. You obviously were a true super-fan and I felt your enthusiasm for actually being allowed to play the game.

I have to say that Jeff Probst pissed me off when he said he wondered what casting was thinking when they cast you. I think they knew they had a truly unique player and someone who would be completely entertaining. Jeff was completely off track on that comment. Maybe he is responsible for all the lame mactors making the show.

I also believed your leaving was not a horrible event for the show or for the game. I 100% believe these events are far more interesting and far more AUTHENTIC than some of the twists that leave players with little chance of recovering their game play.
The genuine physical and mental anguish this game causes are, in my mind, glossed over in recent years, and I loved how it all came together this season to create a unique sequence of events.

And thank you for showing your understanding nature with Chet and now as his friend agreeing to be in his Gay Pride celebration. Your experience on Survivor, and that feeling of being the outsider really resonated with those of us who felt or still feel that alienation in the 'straight world'.
