Allan: This is the 2^nd of only 5 FAST FORWARDS in the entire race. The first team to find and finish the FAST FORWARD may skip all the tasks and proceed directly to the PIT STOP. In this FAST FORWARD, they must travel by jeepney or tricycle to CVSCAFT-TCC, a local technical school. Once here, using only the tools provided, teams have to install a particular electrical series on a board. Once properly done, the master electrician will hand them their FAST FORWARD reward. This is no easy job for teams since the series use an actual 220 volts. This is not lethal but if not properly handled, the teams could be "electrocuted". John: Son, should we go for it? Kevin: Let's read the other clue. ROUTE INFO: Kevin: Travel by tricycle or jeepney to Plaza Rizal. Allan: Teams must now travel by tricycle or jeepney to Plaza Rizal where they have to find the local person in Barong costume, who will hand them their next clue and a mystery item that they have to keep all throughout the leg. Kevin: Let's not go for the FAST FORWARD. John: Okay. Shan & Chin rip 'n read clue [Currently in 2^nd Place] Shan: FAST FORWARD. Chin: Let's take it. Shan: It's all about electricity. In SEARCH IT DOWN, teams drive themselves 3 miles to Bohol Beach Club (Public). Once here, they must use a metal detector to find the small metallic souvenir hidden beneath the sand. Once successful, the surfer will hand them their next clue. This task is not physically demanding but requires tremendous patience. And teams without it… might find their hopes buried in the sand. In GET IT UP, teams drive themselves 5 miles but on a separate way to Dauis Park. Once here, they must play a traditional Filipino game, the Palo-Sebo. Each team members have to climb up a greasy, 6-meter bamboo pole to get a small fiesta flag on top of it. Once they got 2 flags, the local guide will hand them their next clue. (a long one after Thinga's, that is) Well, with proof-reading thanks to Nick, the leg is definitely easier to read. It's great to know what it is like at your hometown. I really love the cultural part though. The climbing detour looks extremely hard and I was surprised at how many teams actually chose it and did it. The Caramay thingy is kinda useless (even you know that), but we kinda have similar food in Thailand and it is called Galamare (it is a known fact that both food is derived from 'caramel' due to Western visits to the region). I like how there are so many placing switches and it's refreshing to see new faces getting to the top. Comments on teams (now with scores!) 1st Chin/Shun - I think I like them. They are annoying brats and unknowingly losers. I like how they like to treat each other like crap and still manage to keep it up. FF does bring them great luck, but I think they're out pretty soon. (8/10) 2nd Sam Won/Jo Young - Great racers and very likable. Definitely final 3 potential, unless ending up a surprise boot. Still my favorite <333! (10/10) 3rd Gabrielle/Lena - Slowly picking up likability. Mama Len is truly a star of the show. Gabrielle? Not so much. (7/10) 4th Cyrix/Myakka - These two still blend with each other. So they are basically two people with the same characteristics and style. You need to differentiate them, or they're just another Kellie/Jamie kind-of team. (5/10) 5th Cici/Shebie - Got lucky with three teams vying for FF and their dumb luck at RB helped them. Great we don't get much from them this leg. Anyway, burning hatred is continuing on! (2/10) 6th Patty/Ayah - Their mini rivalries between Cyrix/Myakka are okay to watch, but not memorable. These girls need to try harder to earn the villian of the season title, as their constant low placings is hurting them big time. (6/10) 7th John/Kevin - Is it Ron/Christina all over again? Anyway John needs to FOAD. Hate him! Kevin, on the other hand, is sweet and polite. They did not stand out that much, besides John's strings of bitching with everything in sight. (4/10) 8th Jason/James - Less bickering = good. They are on good terms with the Koreans and other teams too. That makes me think they are a fix for 4th place for sure. (7/10) 9th Uma/Cass - Boring. Predictable. . (3/10) 10th Don Joseph/Jane - Not a leg for them. Bad decisions over and over again. DJ's competitiveness is now reaching its peak and this close about 0.5 cm between index finger and thumb to the "what-a-dick-shut-the-hell-up-plz" level. It's good to know the Koreans prove victorious in this battle between them. (7/10) ELIMINATED Susie/Andy - Well-deserved. They are not memorable at all. So long fuglies, I won't be missing you. Was this a better leg? (Not talking about the grammar and everything because it's obviously a resounding YES!!) You know, the tasks, excitement (if there's any) and everything. My personal favorite part of the leg was with Andy asking direction to the local. That actually happened to me. Hahahaha!! And also, I added "Calamay" eating challenge for the simple reason that it's super yummy. Yeah, it really is. hahahaha!! And I'm betting Galamare is yummy too. And I wanna reitterate this...
