I wouln't be too worried. Once sweeps are over, the ratings will return. I myself bugged out after the first half hour for How I Met Your Mother and just now finished watching the full two hours.
I love how they addressed the handbike issue. Those balls in the pit are a perfect way to give them a time penalty, and according to where they drop. Brilliant. Plus, Jerry absolutely scooted across using the thing. Completing that leg is now going to be critical.
Yup, the haggard USAF Major Mom is the most annoying contender I've ever seen. Still, she's smart: the way she used her momentum coming down the seesaw and applying to go up the first few feet of the Travellator was absolutely brilliant and I bet will the template for all future contenders.
Likewise, I loved how Phoenix developed her strategy in Vertigo. I wonder if the contenders need weight to pull it off. It'll be interesting to see what happens if they put Rocket up there.
Speaking of which, if you're a contender and you're told he's chasing you on the wall, you might as well just immediately jump in the pool and be done with it.
Betcha we see an injury on the rolling pin soon. They need to bump up the padding on the housing at the bottom.
I was really worried that Jet would embarrass herself as a glad. Happily, she did fine -- nice job in particular on Pyramid, which isn't a challenge that I thought would suit her. Powerball, too. And dayum she looks great, although I kinda wish they'd given her a sluttier outfit.
Anyhow, I think of all four, only Jerry the 2nd guy prolly had an eliminator time that'll stand up for the finals.
My DVR has this set to repeat on Friday night. I wonder what's up with that.
