Hi Eliza! ^_^
How much time was there between coming back from Palau and the China finale? Were any or all of you invited to attend it (either by production or just as friends of james/amanda)? |

Eliza,
I had to finally register here so I could say how cool it is that you've spent so much time here answering fans' questions. I've greatly enjoyed reading your responses, as they have been both entertaining and insightful. You were one of my favorite Survivor contestants to watch due to your humor and intelligence (and yes, good looks). And from your posts here you've proven how level-headed, honest and awesome you are. I love how you just brush off the trolls. I also think it's great that you've chosen to be a public defender and I think you'll excel in that career. You seem perfect for it. Most of the questions I would have asked you have already been answered. What I'm still wondering about are your thoughts on the fame Survivor brings in general. After being on television and getting all that attention, how difficult is it to go back to normal life? Do you feel some contestants have handled it badly? It seems to me that while you will always have your fans (especially in the case of more popular contestants like yourself), the fame is fleeting. In your case, have you had any thoughts of trying to catch lightning in a bottle and take on any projects that being on Survivor has opened up? Or are you content to go on with your existing plans as they were? Whatever the case, you seem to have a very healthy perspective and I admire that. Kevin from 'Jersey. |

Dear Eliza,
I've been writing a novel about you and I in a spaceship adventure to Mars. In it, you introduce me to your Martian friends, some typical Martian cuisine, and then we go to a dance-a-thon and win 2nd place. Now normally that would be a great finish, given that over a million kajillion couples participated, but NO - we should have won the competition, but Martians are racist and couldn't let an Earthling take the prize over a fellow Martian. This makes me mad and I throw a temper tantrum. This scares the Martians, who all drop like those goats that faint when shocked (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we9_CdNPuJg). But you don't faint, because you're super awesome cool, and you make big eyes and act all surprised and amused. Anyway, I'd like to send you a copy and then maybe you can tell me what you think and we can become best friends and you can give me legal advice and I can dry hump your leg every once in awhile doesn't that sound like fun yeah it does. - Aloysius in Tanasket |

Amanda didn't wear her heart on her sleeve, she emotionally manipulated people and bragged about. That's why nobody bought her bullshit in the end. She
fucked Erik over by being completely insincere and she put on that performance before using the HII, so when it came down to her really being upset everybody
just laughed. And THEN she tried to say she'd been genuine the entire time, which was ludicrous.

Eliza, I apologize for not being too friendly yesterday. Believe me, I'm a fan--but I'm also a fan of Amanda. Hopefully, all is forgiven.
Is "My Cousin Vinny" still your favorite movie? Can you still quote every line from the film? |

We couldn't go into to town b/c they were afraid we'd be recognized. (3) We only went for a little while. (4) Yes that was the only time. (5) Yes, all of them. |

and Amanda got back to camp and flipped out thinking Cirie was already playing up to the jury. Cirie has said that she thought Amanda's antics were fake
because Amanda wanted to play up how bad she felt to earn herself jury votes b/c she thought other people had already been doing it. Her actions were
completely fake at the prior TC when she voted out Erik and although it was deliberate, it made her seem really fake in generally b/c of her crocodile %@!!#.
(2) I absolutely took how the person played into account. If you listen to my speech (and not just the nasty parts) I stated that I was impressed at how both of them played the game and also respected that. I just wanted them to be genuine in the final tribal because I was on the fence and I wanted them to own up to what they did and be proud of it. Parvati did. Amanda did not. That determined my vote. (3) My reactions were all 100% genuine. I never imagined Ozzy would be blindsided. I thought he was going to win it all. I also never knew they'd show
it. I was just me being me. I'm sorry you felt that way. Oh and I already answered this, but as to taking my time in the final vote, I was strongly
considering forcing a tie but was concerned it would cause Amanda to win. I never imagined they'd show that either. Erik always took tons of time drawing
on his votes and they never showed that so I figured it would just be cut.
Have a great day. Hope that's sufficient for you.

Hey Eliza, this is a really random question, but does CBS give you all copies of the season after its over, or no?
Oh, and do you think its best to apply by mailing in an application or doing the cattle call casting things/does it make any difference at all? |

I think it doesn't matter how you apply, if you have what it takes you'll be discovered either way! :) They definitely watch every tape they get
(it's how I got on) so don't feel like you have to go to a casting call.
