Hi Eliza, I have a few questions for u
1) If you lasted to the end, which post-merge constant would you like to have been with 2) Were you free to go around town while at Ponderosa or did you have to stay in the villa? 3) How long did you guys go skinny dipping for when you merged? 4) Was that the only time you went skinny dipping? D5) id you see any of the girls naked? |

I don't have many questions. You are awesome! I read in your bio that you had been to China and you can speak Chinese language, does Survivor China bring you some old memories in China? Can you talk with Michealle Yi and Yau Man in Chinese Language? Anyway,Eliza<3 Thanks for adding me on Myspace,BTW |

Eliza, first of all, let me say I am so glad you were cast and I wish you'd been able to go much further. You and Penner together at F2 would
have been pure gold. That would have been the ultimate Survivor for me.
But I have to say three things, and please don't anyone rip my head off - I have a right to ask the questions of Eliza just as much as anyone else. And I remain a fan of Eliza's. 1. Why did you not feel Amanda was genuine when she voted out Cirie? She looked truly devastated to me, and genuinely upset at the decision she had to make. I don't think that was at all fake. The TC where she had the HII and was playing up the fact that she was getting voted out, and then sprang the surprise HII on everyone, was indeed fake, but intentionally so, to take Eric, Natalie and Alexis (and probably Cirie) by surprise. But other than that intentional move, she seemed to be a very genuine person with a lot of integrity. 2. Why didn't you take into account how the Final 2 played the whole game? Why did it come down to just the final TC responses for you to decide who you were going to vote for? The whole game including Amanda playing two seasons back to back (which pretty much would have killed a lesser person) and lasting longer than any person in history, not to mention her winning immunities right at the end when it mattered. Didn't that count for anything? You've mentioned here that on Day 1 you went up to her and told her you'd been reading Spoilers and knew that she made it to the F3 in China. Did her reaction to you then have anything to do with how you felt about her? 3. I know people here are saying how much they loved your antics on the jury, but truthfully, I have to say that I thought it made you look quite cheap. Like a teenage drama queen. When Ozzy got booted, your reaction seemed more like a way for you to hog some camera time. And when you went up to vote at the final TC, your waiting...waiting...waiting, looking back etc, seemed more of the same. Hogging the camera again. So based on that, my question to you is this - out of you and Amanda, who is more genuine and who is more fake? Having said all that, I remain a fan and have missed you posting while the show was airing, so welcome back.

Hello Eliza,
I know you are being inundated with questions so I'd understand if you ignore a question regarding Vanuatu, but there was a scene that has always bugged me and I would appreciate your views: The women of NuYasur were wondering if they should simply boot one of Rory or Bubba or keep the 2 guys for challenge help. Scout and Lisa took you aside and Scout asked you who would you vote out if not one of the guys. You answered you didn't know but, from previous confessionals, we had to assume that, out of the 5 women, you wanted either Scout or Lisa out. The scene made Scout look like the wise, peace seeking leader of the alliance that Burnett wanted us to see while it began Ami's story as the villain, the man-hater who absolutely wanted Bubba out. My question is, why would Scout ask who you wanted out in front of Lisa? Could it be that she wanted to start an argument? She had to know your feelings regarding herself and Lisa. Was Scout that peace-loving leader or was she the passive-aggressive schemer that wanted the women to continue fighting, enabling her to slip in the cracks of the alliance? |

Did her reaction to you then have anything to do with how you felt about her? Eliza said Parvati answered the jury's questions much better than Amanda did. If a juror is on the fence (which Eliza said at the beginning of jury questions she was), it's up to the jurors to speak up for themselves. In a game like Survivor, you have to be your own biggest fan. The jury questions *are* about the whole game. Eliza wasn't going to think, "well, maybe what Amanda *meant* to say was..." It was up to Amanda to know how to explain her strategy and point out her strengths to the jury. You can't say Eliza made an emotional decision about "Amanda's reaction to her", as Parvati was also a huge bitch to Eliza on the island. I know I'm not Eliza to be answering this, but frankly it seemed pretty obvious to me. Eliza didn't like either of them and Parvati just did a better job swaying her. |

Parv and Amanda were both bitches but at least Parv owned up to it. Amanda and her doe eyes got her nowhere AGAIN.

Why did you not feel Amanda was genuine when she voted out Cirie? She looked truly devastated to me, and genuinely upset at the decision she had to make. I don't think that was at all fake.It easier to see it as a genuine meltdown is you'd watched the China endgame. Cirie thought it was partly fake (interviews). For me, it seems logically that any Cirie supporter would vote Parv, since they made similar moves in organizing the girl's alliance and booting Ozzy. Parv won 1 more IC than Cirie and also had more of a supporting role in Amanda's big move with the idol. |

Eliza,
I had to finally register here so I could say how cool it is that you've spent so much time here answering fans' questions. I've greatly enjoyed reading your responses, as they have been both entertaining and insightful. You were one of my favorite Survivor contestants to watch due to your humor and intelligence (and yes, good looks). And from your posts here you've proven how level-headed, honest and awesome you are. I love how you just brush off the trolls. I also think it's great that you've chosen to be a public defender and I think you'll excel in that career. You seem perfect for it. Most of the questions I would have asked you have already been answered. What I'm still wondering about are your thoughts on the fame Survivor brings in general. After being on television and getting all that attention, how difficult is it to go back to normal life? Do you feel some contestants have handled it badly? It seems to me that while you will always have your fans (especially in the case of more popular contestants like yourself), the fame is fleeting. In your case, have you had any thoughts of trying to catch lightning in a bottle and take on any projects that being on Survivor has opened up? Or are you content to go on with your existing plans as they were? Whatever the case, you seem to have a very healthy perspective and I admire that. Kevin from 'Jersey. |
