P.S. Feel free to PM me the other person Sun blames for Jin's death. I hate surprises. Great great episode. Some of you are SOOOO picky. |

Sun was awesome. If she is that intent on revenge against her father, Jin must really be dead. Or at least she thinks he's dead. What I want to know is what happened between the time they were rescued until the time they were on that Coast Guard plane. SOMETHING happened to make them want to cover up their whole time on the island. But what? I'm glad Jack finally learned that Claire is his half-sister. I felt his pain, though, when he was told that and then he came to the realization that Kate was holding his nephew and Claire's mom was talking to her grandson but didn't know it. I want to know what happened to Claire, durnit!! Did anyone notice that the rescue was on day 108? Sawyer always gets some of the best lines. "I'm not going to let you die alone Jack!!" I loved that line! I laughed out loud when Sawyer said that. The musical score throughout felt a lot different to me....like someone new was in charge of the score. The score reminded me a lot of last season's finale. If Desmond dies before seeing Penny again, I will lose it. You and me both , seat two. You and me both. Ugh. Just the thought makes me sick. |

But that leads me to believe that maybe the other person she blames is Widmore or Ben and the purchasing of the company has more to do with a future
plotline than simple sun / dad revenge...plus could she really afford a buyout like that with the settlement from Oceanic or would someone else have to be
involved.....aka Ben or Widmore....?

I feel like either they got paid off by Widmore to keep silent or they are protecting people that didn't come back with them. or.......Maybe they thought
if they told the truth, no one would ever believe it.
I can't imagine that Oceanic would pay the survivors each enough money for one of them to take controlling interest in a large corporation like Paik. I could see a few million being tossed their way, but Paik looks like it is worth at least a billion. |

^^ Thank you! I thought it was the same piece but my husband said it was somewhat the same but a little different. He listens for that kind of stuff but I
think he was wrong in this instance.

Don't take me as an absolute authority. There may have been some slight variations, but it was at least 90% the same piece of music.

Oh, I wasn't. LOL. Yeah, ok, so my hubby may have been right (he doesn't have to know I said that). It definitely was very similar if not the same.
I'll just have to pull out my Season 3 DVDs for comparison now.

don't know if this has been asked yet... but why are the press not more schocked to learn of the oceanic 6 survivors ?
are they still believing the fake plane crash to be the real deal? I thought all the bodies on the flight manifesto were "accounted for" on the fake wreckage if the "world" knows that was fake, why isn't that brought up at the oceanic 6 press conference in ep 12 |

I don't know for sure, but it looks like his profile. I blew up the image and that was the distinct impression I got. It was clearer than the Christian Shepard in the dark cabin pictures, anyway. I'm going to rewatch later tonight to see if I can make him out better. Also, we know that Ben has been in contact with Syed since they got back., so it stands to reason that he is a fellow passenger on that plane that didn't want to be indentified. |

Maybe I'm missing something. Where is Ben supposed to be in that picture?

Behind Michelle Forbes sitting towards the front of the plane, there is a sillouette of a man sitting down. I think he looks like he doesn't have much
hair so I guessed Ben. I doubt Locke would go and I can see Ben being there to make sure nobody talked, as well as get to Widmore.

Lovejonze wrote: Well there was also some money goofiness happening in Paik Industries at the same time the day Sun visited papa Sun, so perhaps something was manipulated
by Ben or Widmore (or whoever) to cause a sudden drop in the stock value such that Sun could be poised to suddenly scoop up enough stock to gain leveraging
control. This might mean that Sun is working in cahoots with someone just as Sayid is working with Ben off the island. (Buy Orange juice futures!)
When I was in high school I got to fly in a C-130 transport with a bunch of Chicago Science Fair participants from Chicago OHare to Wright Patterson Air Force base in Ohio. We sat in those exact fold down jumpseats along the inside of the fuselage. The one thing I would mention is that it is way noisier in there in real life when the plane is flying so obviously that scene was filmed with the plane on the ground. 1717 was the number of the plane, BTW, which is not apparently related to the numbers. Also there would normally be a payload officer riding along somewhere in the back of the plane so I don't think that guy is supposed to be anyone other than a Coast Guard person giving the survivors some space.

I watched the whole scene again in HD. When Ensign Ro enters the cargo hold she does look in that direction and smile in acknowledgement. So there is
definitely somebody there. I agree that it looks like Ben, but in Ben's FF Sayid asks him how he got off the island.
