Dear Alexis: What if someone has a cookie that I want and they won't give it to me?



Well, like, technically the real question here is: what kind of cookie is it? Period. Say if it's an oatmeal raisin cookie, screw it, those are nasty. If it's a chocolate chip cookie and they won't give it to you, then absolutely POUT POUT POUT. Throw a tantrum. Scream. Look like a nasty sea hag. It almost worked for me once when I was on TV!! Show them how much a strong, independent young woman you are. This also goes if you are selling cookies door to door for your Girls' Scouts. If someone won't buy a box from you, you can 1) look like a sea hag again, 2) roll your eyes in disbelief (see also my Tribal Council episode), or 3) call them either a sexist pig who won't stand up for strong, independent women, or a girl who's too afraid of being a good role model for strong, young independent women.
