I have a lot to respond to, so I'm going to break it into smaller pieces if I can:

First of all, this episode was MUCH better than the last one, probably because there wasn't as much focus on the mystery vote plus a quitter.

Thanks. I'm glad you thought this one was much better than last week's. I still liked Episode 2, but I happen to agree that this one was better than it.

I'm assuming that these stories are based on how you thought the players would play before the season, maybe incorporating a couple things from the actual show if they're relevant? I've gotta say, I'm surprised by Tracy in that instance. Going into the show, I thought she'd be a Jolanda, pissing people off by being too bossy and just getting on peoples' nerves. Glad to see she's more like on the show. NATALIE is portrayed as I expected her to be on the show, though. Ami too.

Yes, everything has to be my preseason "ideas" of the characters or "interpretations" (I'm not really sure what the word would be). Sometimes it's very easy to me to figure out how a certain person will play or what their role in the story should be, while there are some people that I have a harder time with. A few times, my interpretation of a character has been wrong. For example, Stephannie Favor in Cook Islands was more harsh and bossy than she would have been after seeing the show. About Tracy, I never thought she would be a Jolanda type at all, which is why I was careful with how I portrayed her in Episode 1. I think she's firm in her beliefs but I didn't want her to be too pushy. I also had a sense that she would be one of the more strategic Fans, and I think she showed that in this episode, as she did in the show.

Someone like Mikey is probably going to end up more in the villain role in my story than he did in the real show, whereas Joel hasn't been nearly as negative in my story as he was on the show. I knew that Alexis, Natalie, and Mary would all be kindof quiet and UTR on the real show, but I'm surprised by how UTR Alexis was on the real show AND in my story so far. Mary, I was surprised by her getting voted out early and by her lack of personality, and I like my version of her character way better. And Natalie is pretty much what I expected too. I think Erik and Jason are pretty true to character based on what I thought of them and how they were presented on the show, and I guess the same for Chet too.

It seems weird to have that whole Erik/Eliza storyline amount to absolutely nothing, though, unless you've planned an outcast twist of some kind.

No, there won't be an outcast twist, but I think it indirectly amounted to Erik getting voted off, in my opinion. This is how I viewed the whole thing:

- Erik didn't want to let his feelings for Eliza interfere with his strategic game
- But Erik became jealous of Jason for getting to spend time with Eliza
- This made Erik consider voting Jason off in the first place
- So his positive feelings for Eliza made him start to feel negative feelings for Jason, and he took control of the plan to blindside Jason
- Then he let his feelings come into play again when he admitted about the plan to Jason and felt bad about it, etc.

But I basically feel like the Erik/Eliza thing was what started off the series of events that led to Erik screwing up his strategic game (which he vowed not to do) and led to him being booted. That's how I planned it anyway, but I don't think I'm explaining it well. Hopefully that makes a little bit of sense though.

Erik really is an idiot, though. Never tell someone that you're voting them off. Amanda proved that this season and Kelly G. almost proved it in Australia. It's just a dumb move.

Agree. He made this mistake twice: first, admitting it to Jason, and then basically admitting it at Tribal Council in front of everyone. It wasn't a good idea at all, and it's just one of the many things that led to Erik's demise.

Another note, how funny is it that Tracy/Kathy/Jason are actually an alliance this time around? I mean, Kathy STILL hates Jason, yet in your story, they're working together. I think that's pretty funny.

I definitely think it's funny too. I read some of Kathy's posts and it's clear that she hates Jason. Kathy told me she's going to read this story, so if she does, it will be interesting to see her reaction to helping Jason out. Who knows? Maybe she'll actually enjoy his character in this story... I hope she enjoys her character though! :)

Finally, I loved Kathy's "I don't think her boobs will fit" comment during the reward. That was hilarious.

Thank you. I love writing for Kathy. There's so much for me to write about with her, and I can say that she has a great scene in Episode 4 that I really love! I think you'll all like it. :)

One last thing, for the first time in Survivor history, the female cast has lasted an entire 9 days without a casualty. Bravo.

Yeah, this one has worked out the opposite of my Fiji story so far. That one lost four women in a row. So far Micronesia is three guys down. Will we lose a fourth next week?

I'm glad you liked the part with Tracy. I don't usually venture into Clubs, but I read through some of your ranking thread the other day (great job with that!) and I saw Tracy as your #4.

It was a great episode for the fans. And I am VERY happy that they dominated in air-time. I actually liked seeing the whole Natalie/Erik scene. Of course no complaints with the boots really. Erik is a very good casting choice for a fan and you know sometimes hardcore fans usually over think things (like Erik did in the episode). I really liked Tracy's part. She hasn't been a let-down at all.

It was definitely a Fan-centric episode. I wish I could have shown a little more from Malakal, but in a way I'm glad that it was dominated by the Fans because we already know who the Favorites are, so it's nice to see some new personalities emerge. That's a great assessment of Erik and I agree with you on that. I'm also glad to see that you liked the part with Tracy. Remember I said I wouldn't let you down with this story!!! :)

Great predictions for Episode 4!

I think if Tracy goes to EI, Kathy might go a bit crazy. (Hopefully, because it would be very entertaining)

Kathy has her most "crazy" episode yet in Episode 4, and I also think it will be very entertaining.

Eliza - 10 (I liked that she was quiet but her character was still in tact)

I had to give her a quieter episode this time after she was the star of the first 2. Can't have too much Eliza all the time... :)

Jason - 7 (I am surprised he didn't do anything stupid)

Me too, although it was potentially stupid to tell Erik that he knew about the plan. It gave Erik's group an opportunity to do their counterattack by planning to vote out Tracy. It just happened to work out in Jason's favor in spite of this, but if Tracy/Kathy went home, THEN Jason would have looked stupid again.

I loved the Airai strategy. It is interesting to see people go into paranoia. Your addition of the Individual Immunity Idol led to more paranoia. I thought this episdoe was very fan-ceteric but that makes sense becuase they went to TC.
Poor Kathy having to be the default default pick. I'm glad she didn't go home.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the "complex strategy." I hope I advertised it appropriately - I think it was fairly complex. I agree that it's good to see some paranoia, and as I've said before, I think the idea of the "Immunity Chain" (that's what I'm calling it for now) works out very well in the story. I think the episode was a little bit more Fan-centric than I usually like to do - I like to balance the tribes out more, but it wasn't possible this week.

Kathy almost went home right there - if Mikey voted for her, she would have been gone. :S

And I like the edit Mary is receiving, but now I've saw she received an UTR1 for her first episode, and I don't konw if it kills her chances, but for all episodes until now I remember her saying interesting things related to the game. She's on my radar, I think she is in the endgame..

I wouldn't say that an UTR1 kills Mary's chances, but I think she's going to need some more significant content pretty soon if she's going to stay in it. She'll probably end up with an UTR2 this time, so her edit isn't *that bad* but it probably could be better.
