Good. That means I get the last word. Nyah nyah! If this keeps you away with your unfounded condescending posts, then this thread will never get updated. Know that! [/Sheila]
Man, do you really need everything spelled out? People can be forgiven for flipping once, Parvati being the latest example.Yeah, because we know Parvati only backstabbed once
Jonathan had made his flip and his only chance of success was to go to the F2 with Candice.Except she probably wanted to go with Adam
.
I think it'd have been smart if she wanted to take Jonathan as a goat, but I don't really think she'd have done that
If he didn't vote with them at F9, then they'd probably "hate" him more. Then, he's just as bad as Candice in terms of screwing them over in the game, in what looks like an emotional and potentially race biased decision. How the heck would he have their votes in the bag after playing goat and Kingmaker to Raro? If anything, Candice would soak up the credit for at least having the metaphorical balls to make a huge risk and stringing Jonathan along as her personal follower
Remember, he was planning F2 not F3. He had 3 of the Aitu votes in the bag since they hated Candice more.
No. He sticks with Raro, then he remains a goat, which Aitu dislikes even more, and where everyone on Raro already loves each other more. At best, he might get some votes from a pissed off Jenny and Rebecca depending on who he's standing up at the end with. His choices were already screwed over a lot, due to Candice's mutiny in the 1st place, and that's what you keep neglecting to factor in. He betrayed long before he had to, and not only that was put in a WORSE situation than he initially was in! Usually, a backstab should at least have some short-term reward. Mutinying was his biggest blunder in the game
He'd need a great TC performance to get any other vote but that was his only real chance.
Actually, flipping once tends to be worse than flipping multiple times. When you betray 1 group of people alone, then it often seems more personal in nature. It looks like you've "chosen" 1 group or individual over others, and then that person may feel slighted emotionally. That is why it's often good to backstab multiple people and work with all kinds of different individuals. Then people can at least see that you do it to everyone and are truly just playing the game. In my jury speeches, I point out that I'm an "equal opportunity backstabber". It wins far more respect that way, versus "loyalty" which tends to piss off and completely alienate whoever you screwed over. Remember Cesternino? He flipped on Jenna/Heidi and PISSED them off. He flipped back to them, and suddenly they respected him. Yeah, everyone knew he was a snake and all that, but had he made it to the finals, he likely would've won
Flipping twice to go up against Yul or any of the other Aitus, he'd have no votes at all.
But of course, given that you haven't even been close to making the jury in the games you've played, I guess I can't expect a whole lot from you strategically
. I was trying to refrain from us being
negative which each other, but since you again drew 1st blood, there's no reason for me to be civil
Flipping twice is almost unforgivable as Twila (who first flipped on Sarge then on the women) and Dreamz showed. It depends on who you flip on and how it's done. Flipping back to people you've already betrayed is less personal in nature, because it's not like you're demonstrating that you're favoring anyone in particular in an emotional way which is offensive
Yeah and if Colby took out Tina, Katie backstabbed Tom, and Denise turned out Todd, that would've increased their winning chances too. What's your point?
Becky could have flipped on Yul and explained that she had to do so in order to win. Jonathan has gone on record saying that was the only way Becky would have gotten his vote.
I find it amusing that you feel the need to take shots at me in answering other people. Does it make you feel better?
I dunno. Does being insulting when unprovoked and then playing victim when someone doesn't take your shit make you feel more like a victim? Glass houses buddy

. I don't call you "dumbass" for using the vague word
"leader" for just about everything. The thing is, that "flipping" is entirely up to interpretation, because you can always just claim that
you were more with 1 group than the other. Many floaters make multiple alliances and just see which one works out. Then whatever alliance they go with, that
becomes their "real" one that they meant to keep all along, and thus they didn't "flip". It's sort of a useless distinction.
Anyways, I've "flipped" many times in my game and won. I've had real intentions to go to the end with 1 group, but then changed my mind when
other circumstances came up. Juries generally don't care too much if you've "flipped" versus "backstabbed" because either way you
screwed them and they're not happy about it
