Anyway, congrats trixie for picking out that the clue meant a F2. I honestly didn't think that the show would make a F2 twist for the sake of a F2 twist
but I guess live and learn. I guess you really are the master of picking up SP's clues :)

By request, here is a brief explanation of the various riddles. Most of the riddles had layered meanings. That is not to say, as some may be wont to do, that there were alternate interpretations, but rather that there were complementary answers. It should become apparent to all but the more stubborn of nay-sayers that there was no wiggle room. Wicked Poster
Pretty self-explanatory: all female F2.
House of Cards
It began as an exercise in Photoshop, but as I was constructing it, I decided that it would make a pretty decent riddle to solve, especially if people used the Wicked poster image as a guide. The two key cards here were the Wicked graphic and the image of the seraphims on the upper left. A nod to Seraphaem, the seraphims card was turned towards the left, indicating that those cards on the left all represented false leads or spoilers. Specifically, there was talk (whether any of it can be qualified as spoilerish or not) of Jonathan winning, of Alexis winning, of a Fan winning. Knowing who the F2 were, I knew none of those were correct, so I included a picture of Jonathan, a picture of a group of Fans (which became absolutely impossible to distinguish once the image was shrunk and so this part of the riddle was unsolvable) and a picture of Alexis with Natalie. By this point in the game, there were two clear sets of two female friends: Alexis-Natalie and Amanda-Parvati. Placing Alexis-Natalie on the Sera side of the graphic indicated that they were the wrong pair. On the Wicked side of the graphic, there were three pictures in which the female faces were hidden by cards over them. This was intended to indicate the last three women in the game: Cirie, Parvati and Amanda. Furthermore, if you draw a line down the center of the house of cards (maybe on a slight diagonal), the cards are torch, amanda, wolf in sheep's clothing, probst, idols, favorites, parvati. F2: Amanda-Parvati. The tribe pictures: fans were upside down and the favorites right side up, indicating favorites won.
Anatomy of Victory
The number 2 for Final 2.
Foreshadowing Again
All Green Edition - Spoilers and Misdirections
Survivor Firsts
Primarily intended to suggest that Amanda was in the Finals (first player to make it to a Final twice), with all the accompanying firsts that would be a
part of that achievement.
Pre-Season Promo
One of the first promos to air had a sequence which had a head shot of Amanda, followed by all the Favorites on the Jury (with the F2), followed by a head
shot of Parvati. That sequence only aired in one version of the pre-season promos and that promo didn't air very much. The Favorites shot was noticed, and
it generated a lot of discussion, but the connection with Amanda and Parvati was not made, probably because no one was thinking F2. So I connected the dots.
It's A Squeaker
Identifying the Wicked imagery and naming the winner.
There were additional hints in the graphic tags which taken with the rest should have helped point everyone in the right direction.
I hope that answers most questions.

Thank you for the explanation, VG. Just a couple of comments.
A nod to Seraphaem, the seraphims card was turned towards the left, indicating that those cards on the left all represented false leads or spoilers. Isn't that a random and obscure conclusion for us poor dregs to decipher ? What was written on the vote card held by Probst was Final Twosome. It was, intentionally, too faint to be read. If it's intentionally too faint to be read, couldn't it also say "Natalie/Cirie" ? Or "VolcanicGlass Rocks" ? The number 2 for Final 2. Also, "V" for faVorites. Also, Natalie as the last standing Fan, victory is achieved by going through Natalie.

Admit it, Oowatanite ... you had fun with the riddles despite the naysaying. On a side note, I'm humbled by that nod (love ya, babe). S. |

Great job, VG. I was totally stumped by all of them, so I left it up to these fine folks to do the interpreting, and I just read along. I hope you continue
to do this in coming seasons.

Good job VG. I hope you do it again next season. It was kind of like Snewser's cryptic clues for the weekly boot way back when he was around. If you don't mind answering, what was the meaning behind "I may, I might, I must". For some reason I thought it might be the triathlon mantra for either Alexis or Parvati, who both run triathlons. I'm not sure why I even thought that. |

Volcanic Glass
I think your Wicked analogy for Parvati and Amanda was pretty brilliant. In the end the wicked green witch, Parvati, who is really deserving and cool, won out over the good white witch, Amanda, who really isn't so good. Ozzy practically saw them as good vs evil at Final TC, Parv was falsely seen as a goat, the public liked Amanda more. But in the end, the jury and the majority of Sucks saw through that, and the misunderstood and underestimated girl won. How many details supporting the witch imagery were spoiled in advance? The women stirring the pot like witches from MacBeth, Parvati calling them the Black Wuidow Brigade, etc. Or by chance did the analogy become more fitting than first intended? |

Thanks everyone.
Trix, take two Pez and call me in the morning. Oowatanite, I might grant you obscure, but by no means random. Had someone recognized the image earlier, it might have steered discussion in a different direction. theysay, Kona pretty much nailed the meaning of "I may, I might, I must" in this post up-thread. It is a quote from a poem by Marianne Moore. craig, the editing exceeded my expectations. AnneZob, some really good analysis early on, despite your refusal to consider a F2. It provided a good context for trying to solve the riddles. S.ame |

That shot was part of the E11 promos and I featured it as part of the episode shots, but I didn't make it into a riddle at the time. Some people correctly made the connection.I did! I posted that picture and proclaimed that it held the answers to everything. I guess I was right! : ) This is what I posted back on Page 43: OK, I've been looking through all the pictures on the Survivor Phoenix website and I've decided that there's one picture that holds the answers to everything. This is that picture:I'm so smart! : )
