The point is that the show blatantly sabotaged her last night to makes sure that they got the Davids into the Final 2. The judges' trashing of Syesha, the producers' pick, the judges' praising the Davids for bad peformances. And then they wonder why the show is losing viewers. They are creating the show they want. Not the show that America wants.

Her IIAGY was pretty darn good, and Fever was better than what she got slammed for. I mean, all Paula could muster up was "I don't get the real Syehsa". WTF! But her being given the penguin song and Paula, for the FIRST TIME EVER, giving a Simon quote about it "not being enough to make it into the finals" was the knife in the back for me. They blatantly wanted her to not make it.

I think there will be plenty of offers for her to both work on Broadway and record an album. I do think it sucks that the judges had to shit all over her in their ongoing campaign for an all David F2. I wish the audience weren't so easily manipulated I wanted a Syesha v. Cookie F2... at least then we'd have gotten two good to decent performances instead of the gasping lip licking midget...

Especially on Screamie's last song? I literally laughed out loud at how similar they look and won't be shocked when Screamie is booted in the same spot as Vonzell. A person I was with who never watches the show said that Screamie is fucked and that the judges are screwing her over. It's amazing how smart non-viewers are with this shit!

Hopefully she can get a real career out of this, unlike a lot of the other 3rd place finishers. As for more immediate matters, I will be voting for David Cook next week. I hope other Syesha fans feel the same way!

What would have happened if they'd been honest about that performance? She might have made it and Cook would have been out. When you think about it, 3rd is probably the best place to make it to. You don't have to worry about being chained to AI forever, you don't have to sing the god awful song.
