We have poison oak on our tree. Last year I cut most of it down, and ended up covered in it. It was horrible! I feel for you... but you went to the ER for it?

I've always been really familiar with what it looks like and since I was a gardener I was working around it all the time and never got it. So I figured I
was immune. Well 2 summers ago I was mowing the lawn on the property I was caring for and I guess I ran over some and it got on my ankles. Damn that stuff
burns. It was just a tiny spot and it didn't last long but I thought I would go crazy. I can't imagine being one of you sensy people that get it all
over.

I didn't go to the ER. That was a punchline nobody laughs at. I went to a public doctors office hell hole. Got a shot and prednisone.

KHP, if you have it on your inner arm then run your arm under the hottest water you can stand. The feeling is better, better than an orgasm. I practically cooked my arm the last time I had poison ivy. :smoke |

 My doctor will only give one Cortisone shot per summer
along with the prednisone pills. I found this soap works great. I haven't been to the doctor in 2 years. This is much better than the damn shots or the
poison ivy. I use it after any work outdoors in the garden, or flower beds.

this stuff works pretty good, honestly the scrub is coarse and feels good when scrubbing and the spray really does keep you from itching and scratching doesn't really shorten the time span of having it, but helps with the symptoms |
