Just based on this week alone look at the "overpimping" of Cook. Pimp Spot? Check. Producers picking shit for the two other contestants while giving Cook one of the most recognizable songs in recent history that was written by the prolific Diane Warren (LOVE HER) AND having her in the audience? Check. Judges critiquing the song choice of the two other contestants even though they didn't pick them? Check. (Well, that happens all season long) Too bad Archie's gonna win. YAY!

Hasn't Cookie taken the most risks? changed up his songs the most? and been the most dynamic performer all season? yes, I think he has. I think anyone who isn't an archietard will admit that David Cook has been the most exciting contestant this season (and perhaps for the last 6 season). David Cook does deserve to win if it's based solely on performances from week to week and which one is ready to actually be an artist in their own right, separate and apart from the Idol machine.

What's awkward is the assertion that Simon and the producers are "overpimping" Archie, to get him more and more votes, while at the same time, saying they want Cookie to win.
