The author's thesis was that the majority of readers are female, and they want to perceive male celebrities as Prince Charmings and pretty rich, famous women as Evil Stepsisters. Oh well, that part of wjy I savor Jenna and Parvati's wins above all others. The Survivor Phoenix "Wicked" clue got it right. The jury voted for the Bad Witch who was really cool and deserving, while superficial viewers preferred the Good Which who really wasn't that good.

The majority were invited by CBS executives and were not folks who had ever met the cast in person. That mere handful of us who had met the Final 2 previously were not at all surprised by the jury vote.

I thought Ozzy's speech was endearing, heartwarming & shows what a good person he is. He truly found love, or thinks he did, & I'm happy he got something beneficial out of S16 over the corrupt backstabbing he received from P & C. It would also have been nice if Amanda had not worn any makeup or those earrings & confirmed his terms of endearment with her own. This will not last & I hope Ozzy does the dumping. We will never see Amanda on the red carpet as an accomplished actress.

The difference is, Parv was shown playing the game and I think the causal fan has to like her game, even if they don't like her as a person. Jenna won because of some last minute immunity wins, Parv won because she always positioned herself at the center of the girls alliance. I think Parv is a MUCH better player than Jenna.

So she won that last IC of endurance. Big deal. Matt should have been the winner. He was wonderful with the challenges. HTF did she end up with Ethan? Jenna should have been mortified when she watched the show back. She was horrible to Christy, who did an awesome job in that game. Shows what kind of a shitty person Jenna is right there. She never did even speak one word to her because she was deaf & made Jenna "uncomfortable". Too bad Christy couldn't have won.

I wasn't surprised by the vote either - as soon as Amanda finished her opening statement, I knew she was toast.

She was a self-aggrandizing cunt and not funny or entertaining. Brian was funny and entertaining and didn't make a huge production out of how he controlled the game. Brian won challenges and didn't rely solely on his alliance. Plus, Brian stayed loyal to his core alliance, and didn't pull that crap on Clay or Ted that she pulled on James and Ozzy. By the time he had to make his moves, there was nobody left but other Chuay Gahns. And his moves were all of his own design, whereas Parvati took a lot of credit for moves that Cirie devised. He and Parvati were nothing alike in the game. Big props to the audience for rooting against Parvati winning. Parvati, Erik, and Jason ruined this season.
