Are you kidding? That was fantastic. It was straight out of some late 80s soap opera. Everybody acted like they had cancer. The mom's reaction was
priceless. "Life is just so hard...." she says to him as if he's going to spend his life in a wheelchair.
Had this been any other show, it would have been a very-special-episode and it would have been about tolerance and crap. Instead, everything about Erik's coming out with ridiculous and vulgar.Its almost offensive until you realize that everything is handled in broad, melodramatic strokes. I sware they ripped the entire story line from an episode of Falcon Crest. |

I question the kissing in the street. Wouldn't a kid who went to the trouble of setting up an elaborate ruse with Jenny as his beard avoid making out with
a guy where at least two people could (and did) witness? I mean, hell, couldn't they have at least jumped into his towncar?

There was no murder in the books.
In the books Serena is Blairs best friend and best enemy. She gets everything that Blair wants without trying. No drunken murder, no Georgina. Just Bitchy blair, Social Climbing Jenny, Bald film maker Vanessa (who is SO much cooler in the books), brainy Dan, Gay chuck and the ever stoned Nate. |

I thought it was so funny because it was sooo blatantly a "oh shit the other Asian chick left, lets put another Asian sidekick in there". It was pretty hilarious I thought. Anyhow I thought it was a really good episode, maybe the best of the season. Georgina is a deliciously evil bitch, I love her. The show desperately needed her character, it got too nicey-nice and boring there for a while. The Erik stuff was whatever, not particularly powerful/great, but whatever. Again, loved Georgina outting him, that was amazing. Erik is just really fugly and looks like hes 12 so that was awkward. So I know everyone here sorta hates Jenny, but am I the only one who sorta loves her? I think the actress is one of the best on the show. Besides Chace Crawford of course. |

I was hating Jenny for a while when she got too fake and bitchy (she just can't pull that schtick off as well as Blair), but she redeemed herself as a
character at the end of the last episode when she basically crumbled in the face of all the social drama bullshit.

Blair has had a lifetime to develop into the bitch that she is. Jenny's new to this game, and over the course of just a few short months, I'd say
she's made some impressive strides!
