Yeah, I know it can be hard to do this sometimes, but hopefully within the next two episodes, all of my characters will be developed enough that you'll be able to have your own opinion about them. Mary is a good example of how this works: the first two weeks her popularity was in the low-mid 50s (probably due to low presence on the show and in my Ep 1) and now she got a MORP episode, and her popularity is almost 70. So sometimes those opinions can change, I think.Although Mary didn't really have a story on the show anyways, so you pretty much can do what you want with her character since she wasn't even shown on the show and there's no gameplay or personality to base her off of. ;)

Undisclosed meaning you don't know yet or you don't want to say...?Oh, since the last two seasons, I've started calling some episodes "Undisclosed Title" if the title would be too spoilery of what happens in the episode. I had a few complaints (rightfully so) before about the titles being too revealing, so I decided it was better to be safe than sorry. Episode 3 will be up early in the morning on Thursday. It's definitely the most eventful and exciting one so far. Lots of interesting strategy! :)

Here's the Episode 2 Edgic chart:
NOTES: 1) I decided to make Eliza a CPP. Only 2 or 3 people rated her this way, (most were CP neutral) but I reread the episode and felt that you were supposed to root for Eliza over Terry/Aras, and that the intent was positive in her favor. I'm still considering this a tentative rating and she might end up with a neutral or mixed if I think about it more and change my mind. 2) My intended rating for Mikey B was MORN4 but most people gave him MOR4 neutral, so I went with that. 3) Jason had 1 more vote for CPM than OTTM; however, my intention was OTTM for him because of his lack of self-awareness in many ways (as leader, about lying to Eliza, and possibly being voted off), and the one-sided way in which his Exile Island scheme was presented. So I tipped the scale in favor of OTTM. 4) And I also gave Aras the negative for association with Terry, and because Eliza and Terry/Aras should have been somewhat polarized with the two guys being negative and Eliza being (somewhat) positive. |

So far this season, Kathy and Tracy both told me they would read it and Tracy said that she sent it to some of the other Fans, so I really appreciate her doing that and if even a few of them read it, that would be great! :) |

Thanks, chad6. I will most likely change Eliza back to neutral when I do ratings for Episode 3, which by the way, is
now only about 12 hours away!
Remember, complex strategy in this one, so you'll have to be reading very carefully so that you understand the plans that are going on. Also, as I said, there's a few similarities to events that happened on the show, but I don't think that takes away from the episode. It's mostly page 14 on that's the really good part... |

Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 7
<The camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sky, as nighttime turns to dawn, and the sun begins to peak through the dark clouds. The camera continues to show the red-orange sky, and then fades out to show the tops of several palm trees, before scrolling down to show the Airai tribe's flag. Several castaways are then shown gathered around their fire pit> Mikey: Let's get ready to get some fire! <Jason can now be seen striking the flint with the machete, as several sparks are generated and Kathy says "Keep going"> Joel: Blow… <Jason gently blows on the smoking kindling, before an anxious Mary is shown> Mary: That's good; that's good. <An upbeat music begins to play, as a fire quickly ignites, and the camera shows the other Airai members hugging and cheering excitedly> Jason: I was having doubts for a while… <The camera now scrolls over to a smiling Natalie> Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: It was such a relief when we made fire. <Erik is then shown with an unimpressed look on his face> Jason really stepped it up this morning; <short pause> he took the flint and just got everything prepared for fire. <A close-up view of Airai's burning fire is shown> We finally found some dry wood, and before you knew it, it just caught… <Alexis and Mary are shown smiling with their arms around each other> Alexis: Oh, beautiful fire. It feels so good! <laughs> <The camera then zooms in on Mary> Mary: Our first fire! <Natalie high-fives a grinning Jason, before the camera turns to Kathy> Kathy: <to Natalie> Hey, gimme five too, girl. <Erik is shown standing off to the side, before the camera cuts ahead to show a wide view of several Airai members> Jason: Now we need to get some sticks; <short pause> you know, I would like us to build some kind of shelter to go over the fire so it stays dry… <Mary is shown nodding her head> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: I think it's been pretty apparent from the very beginning that Jason is a really hard worker; <Jason can be seen carrying a heavy log over his head> he's been providing a lot, <Another clip of Jason is shown, as he eats a piece of clam> basically working 24/7 on searching for firewood, making sure we have coconut at all times… <A view of several chopped coconuts lined up on a log is shown, before the camera turns to Mary> Mary: <to Jason> Oh my God; you're crazy… <laughs> <Jason is shown looking up, as he says "I've chopped many coconuts in my life"> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I feel like I'm also working constantly, you know, helping in any way I possibly can, <A view of Mary is shown, as she hands a coconut to Kathy> and I'm relatively comfortable that we could survive as a tribe without Jason… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera cuts ahead to show a clip of Alexis, Erik, Mikey, Joel, Mary, and Natalie sitting around the fire in the midst of a conversation> Alexis: …because when in your life do you not eat? <Erik can be heard saying "True"> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Our diet, you know, what we've been living off of for seven days, consists of coconuts, <A clip of Mikey scraping the fleshy meat out of a coconut> these little limes, <The camera shows Jason holding up an unripe lime> and raw clams. <Kathy is now shown pulling the slimy meat out of a clam> That's all we've had: <short pause> the three major things we've had, and that gets old. <Another view of Mikey is shown next> It's not very tasty, for one, so <pause> I'm ready for a change of somethin'. <'Distant Land' begins to play, as the camera shows an aerial view of Jason swimming in the shallow ocean waters, and the sunlight sparkles off of the calm waves. An underwater clip of Jason swimming at the surface is then shown, as the camera focuses on him for a few seconds> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: Because Airai lost the basket of fishing gear at the first Reward Challenge, <A wide view of a rocky coral reef is then shown, as many small fish dart around> I decided to carve a spear during my time on Exile Island, <Jason can be seen carrying a makeshift spear, as he swims> so today, I'll give it a try; <short pause> you know, hopefully put it to good use and get us some, uh, protein before the next Reward Challenge. <A clip of Jason stabbing his spear into a small fish is shown, as he grabs it with his other hand and then emerges from the water with it> Jason: <to camera> Well, he fits right in the palm of my hand; <The camera zooms in on the striped fish, as Jason holds it up> I'll just have to try and get another one… <Another overhead view of Jason swimming in the shallow ocean waters is then shown> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: Coming out here to be a contestant on Survivor has always been a dream of mine. <Another clip of Jason impaling a fish on his makeshift spear is shown> I definitely would consider myself a fish out of water. <The underwater camera now shows Jason swimming downwards, as he looks around a rocky area> You know, I grew up in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which is a similar tropical setting as this, so <long pause> I'm definitely an outdoorsy guy, <The camera cuts ahead to show Jason slicing into one of the fish> and being able to test myself out in the wilderness is one of the things I've enjoyed about the game the most. <Another clip of Jason walking in the shallow ocean waters is then shown, as he quickly reaches down and picks up a crab> Jason: I just got three crabs… <A faraway view of Kathy standing on the beach is shown, as she asks "Big ones?!" Jason can then be heard saying something inaudible. <'The Sun King' plays, as the camera shows a wide view of the Malakal tribe's beach, and the tide washes up onto the shore. A sea snake is then shown slithering through the sand, before the camera shows Ami, Ruth Marie, Sherea, Eliza, and Brooke lying in the shallow waters> Eliza: It's such a nice day out… <Ruth Marie is now shown scrubbing her face with sand> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: The Malakal tribe is doing very well. <Rapid clips of the four Malakal men are now shown> There's very few, if any, unpleasant moments in our tribe. <Eliza is shown splashing around in the water, before the camera turns to Ruth Marie> Ruth Marie: Isn't that just the cutest thing you've ever seen? <The camera shows Ruth Marie listening intently> They work too much; <short pause> that's about it… <laughs> <The camera scrolls back over to a pensive Ami> Ami - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I mean, Eliza's like my little sister even though we kinda ended up on opposite sides of the playing field; <Another close-up view of Eliza is shown> I'm definitely gonna have to watch her though because she plays her butt off; <laughs> um, Sherea makes being on the island fun. <The camera now switches angles to show Sherea laughing> You know, Brooke is always smiling; <short pause> she's intelligent, <Brooke can now be seen smiling widely> and Ruth Marie is just a doll. <Ruth Marie is shown next> I mean, she's 50 years-old for crying out loud, and seeing her at camp and in the challenges, the way she performs is amazing to me. <Another clip of Ruth Marie is shown> So, I love these girls, and yeah, the game is just starting to get fun… <laughs> <The camera now turns to Brooke, as the music becomes more prominent and dramatic> Brooke: We're the powerful ones on this tribe… <The camera continues to show Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: The women on Malakal are very tight, <Ami can be seen braiding Ruth Marie's hair in the water> and at this point, we've kindof agreed that we're going to stick together and be the five tough Micronesian girls, <Ruth Marie can be heard saying "Rock solid to the end"> so that's something that I'm definitely going to keep in the back of my mind if we have to go to Tribal Council, <The camera cuts ahead to show a view of Ian and Earl sitting in the shelter> but I also think there's still a loyalty to Ian and Earl as part of the original alliance. Ami: We're not gonna beat Earl and Ian; <short pause> we're just not going to… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera switches angles to show an expressionless Brooke> Brooke: That's the unfortunate part of this game though. <Another view of Ami is now shown> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: Things are gonna start getting really complicated with all the alliances and stuff, <A clip of the five Malakal women emerging from the shallow ocean waters and walking up the beach shown> so I'm just hoping right now that we can continue to win challenges so we can put off showing our cards this early, and hopefully things will sort themselves out. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen fades out> |

Reward Challenge - Strung Along

Quick views of both Aras and Ian are shown, before the camera turns to show the Airai members walking up the beach. A clip of the nine Favorites gathering into a group on their purple mat is shown next> Jeff Probst: Favorites getting your first look at the new tribe of Fans: <A close-up view of Ruth Marie is shown, as she turns her head> Chet voted out at the last Tribal Council. <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows the nine remaining Airai members gathering into a group on their orange mat. Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 8
<'Goofy Boys' plays, as the camera shows an aerial view of the dense jungle, and a bird can be seen flying over it. Another brightly colored bird is then shown perched in a tree, before the camera switches angles to show the eight downtrodden castaways returning back to camp> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Airai lost the Reward Challenge again today, so the other tribe just took home blankets; <Mikey can be seen setting the orange challenge flag down> they got pillows; they got lanterns, <Mary is shown, as she says "All I wanted was one pillow"> they got a tarp, and <pause> the highlight of the day was that, you know, I pretty much called the Favorites all losers… <The camera shows a close-up view of Tracy> Tracy: Can I say something? Can we not antagonize the Favorites? <Erik can be seen nodding his head in agreement, as the camera zooms in on him> Erik: Because they're gonna be vicious at the challenge tomorrow… <Tracy is shown again> Tracy: Yeah; <short pause> we don't want them to hate us. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera scrolls back over to Mikey, who has a strange expression on his face> Mikey: <to Tracy> In my mind, it's not even worth stressin' about, to be honest with ya… <A wide view of the entire Airai tribe is now shown, before the camera cuts back to Natalie> Natalie: <to Mikey> No, but when you make a comment like that, it reflects poorly on all of us! Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: I would never say "Hey, losers" or "What's up, losers?" <A close-up view of a smirking Mikey is shown> to a tribe that, they're kickin' our butts. <Tracy is then shown again> I think it's poor sportsmanship, you know, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Tracy: <to Mikey> It's inappropriate. <The camera switches angles to show a carefree Mikey> Mikey: You guys need to lighten up a bit and have some more fun out here! <laughs> <Erik is then shown again, as he says "Maybe you're right"> Mikey - CONFESSIONAL: Yeah, it kinda backfired since we didn't win the challenge, <Mikey can be seen lying down in the shelter> but that's actually pretty funny cause if I had a pillow right now, I might want to smother myself with it. <Mikey is then shown covering his face with his orange buff> These guys are so frickin' serious. <The camera turns back to show a wide view of several Airai members> The Favorites are cocky [self-censored] and I hope it messed with 'em! <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen fades out>
Malakal Tribe ("Favorites") - Day 8
<'Good News' plays, as the underwater camera shows the bright sunlight penetrating into the shallow ocean waters, and then switches angles to show a school of striped fish swimming by. An aerial view of several tropical islands is now shown, before the camera cuts ahead to show the victorious Malakal members returning back to camp with their Reward items> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: At the Reward Challenge today, we again showed the Fans what we're made of. <A clip of Sherea setting the pillows down in the shelter is shown> The Reward was for items to keep us warm at night, <The camera turns to show Ian holding the blanket, as he says "This isn't big enough for me"> to make camp more comfortable, <Aras is then shown lounging in the hammock> you know, to help us sleep better, and that's great because the Fans walked away with nothing… <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show all eight Favorites gathered around their shelter> Terry: Here's to good sleep! <Aras is then shown nodding his head dramatically> Aras: And the Fans getting rained on. <laughs> <The camera switches angles to show Ami> Ami: Yeah; we are not losers… <Another wide view of Aras, Ian, and Earl is then shown next> Aras: We're not losers; <short pause> that's all I have to say about that. <Brooke can be heard saying something inaudible, as the camera scrolls over to a tense-looking Sherea> Sherea: No, the record speaks for itself… <Ami then says "3-1," as the camera turns to Terry> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: Mikey B made a comment calling the Favorites "losers," which was, in my opinion, totally uncalled for, <The camera shows a wide view of all eight Malakal members> and then Eliza proceeded to basically bring out her textbook definition of the word and say "Yeah, um, you know what, guys? I think Mikey was right…" <Terry can be seen rolling his eyes, as the camera switches angles to show Eliza> Eliza: Well, <short pause> not to agree with Mikey, but technically we are because none of us won the game in our seasons… <Aras is then shown smiling and subtly shaking his head, as a prominent drumbeat is heard> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: When Eliza was dumb enough to chime in and say what she said, I immediately smiled. <Terry can then be seen turning towards Aras> Terry and I just kindof caught each other's eyes, and we're like "This girl can't keep her mouth shut!" <laughs> <The camera focuses back in on Eliza again> And I'm happy, because I feel like it might give us another opening to say "You can't trust her. She's gonna bring our whole ship down, and she needs to go home." <Another view of Aras is shown next> Aras: <jokingly> You just called us all losers! <laughs> <Eliza tenses her expression> Eliza: <to Aras> No, but I didn't mean it like that; <short pause> I was just saying… <The camera zooms out to show another wide view of the Malakal members> Aras - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> We've absolutely made an enemy out of that girl. <A clip of a glaring Eliza is shown next> I mean, Eliza gives us some pretty evil stares. <A close-up view of the blazing sun is shown, before the camera fades out to show Terry> Terry: What is it? About 90, 95˚ today? <The camera now scrolls over to Brooke and Earl> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: We've been maintaining a level of sportsmanship in all of these competitions, but if that's how they want to play, fine. <The camera continues to focus on Terry> Um, <short pause> we can turn up the heat, <A close-up view of Malakal's flickering fire is shown, as Ian tends to it> and I have no problem bringin' out a whole can of whoop-ass for those guys. <laughs> They're gonna be in a heap of trouble if they think the Favorites are gonna lose another challenge… <A clip of Eliza, Ami, and Brooke talking is then shown> Ami: I'm still, like, shocked at what came out of his mouth. <Eliza is now shown next> Eliza: I think we have to remember that it was one person's comment, <Brooke is shown nodding her head> and if I said something at a challenge that I shouldn't have, I wouldn't want it to reflect negatively on you guys… <The camera now scrolls back over to Brooke> Brooke - CONFESSIONAL: As far as most of the Fans, we don't really have a chance to form an opinion about them outside of what we see at challenges, <A wide view of several Malakal members sitting in the shallow ocean waters is shown> but I think Mikey kindof put his foot in his mouth with that comment, and it definitely left a negative mark, you know, with the Favorites. <The camera now focuses back in on Brooke> I mean, in a game where you're judged on your actions, you really have to be thinking about how the other players are gonna react to something you say, <A mysterious sound is heard, as the camera goes back to Eliza> and <long pause> if you're gonna talk smack, you better be prepared to back it up. So far they haven't… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the screen abruptly fades out>
Exile Island - Day 8
<'My Island' plays, as a wide view of the main beach of Exile Island is shown, before the camera switches angles to show the wooden hut in the distance. A boat can then be seen dropping off Ruth Marie and Jason, as he helps her out of the boat> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: Well, this is my second time coming out to Exile Island in a matter of only three days, <The camera now shows Jason and Ruth Marie walking up the beach together> so I went with a different strategy this time, um, <short pause> to pick Ruth Marie who is probably the weakest link on the Favorites, so, you know, I would have to be a complete doofus to not find the hidden Immunity Idol with little difficulty. <The camera now focuses on Jason for a few seconds, as the two castaways walk further ahead> Plus, I think if I had picked Eliza again, Erik would go a little bit crazy… <laughs> <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Ruth Marie and Jason in front of a cave> Jason: <to Ruth Marie> You know, it's not so bad out here… <Ruth Marie is shown next> Ruth Marie: I think we need to eat first, before we look for the idol. <Jason is shown again> Jason - CONFESSIONAL: To be honest, I really enjoyed my time out on Exile. <A clip of Jason climbing a coconut tree is shown, as he says "Heads up"> To just be dropped off on an island away from camp <Jason can be seen tossing a coconut down> and have to survive on your own with only what nature provides you with is an awesome experience for me, <Ruth Marie is then shown picking up the coconuts> and it's actually easier in the fact that I only have to look after two people. <A clip of Jason holding the machete above his head and then forcefully chopping into a coconut is shown. The camera then turns to Ruth Marie> Ruth Marie: Look at that! Just one solid chop; <Jason is now shown smiling, as he hands the coconut to Ruth Marie> you're gonna have to show me how to do that. <laughs> <Ruth Marie now takes a drink from the coconut, as the camera goes back to Jason> Jason: I actually showed it to Erik from my tribe so that he can carry on the secret of opening coconuts… <Another view of Ruth Marie is now shown> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: Coming to Exile Island, I don't feel like I'm in jeopardy; <short pause> I've done this before on my season, <A clip of Ruth Marie starting a fire with flint is shown, as Jason says "That'll be good"> and right now, I've got a lot of different alliances. <A view of both Ruth Marie and Jason tending to the fire is shown> You know, my hand is in a lot of jars with the original six and with the women, so I think I'll use the time away from camp to kindof sit back, figure things out, <The camera continues to focus on Ruth Marie for a few seconds> you know, hopefully get a sense of what the best alliance is to go to the merge, and <long pause> I'd say the next couple hours we're gonna look for the idol. <'Determination' begins to play, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show a close-up view of the first clue, and then turns back to the two castaways> Jason: <to Ruth Marie> I'd say, you know, just go about it on your own. <Ruth Marie nods> Ruth Marie: <to Jason> I agree… <Jason can now be seen scratching his shoulder> Jason: I've already got a bit of a head start on some of the clues; <Ruth Marie is heard saying "Right"> um, <pause> I've looked around a bit, so… <Another clip of Ruth Marie is shown> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: I have found this once before, so <long pause> I don't think Jason has it from going to Exile the first time. <The camera fades out to show Jason wading through the shallow ocean waters and looking up at a rock formation> He could be playing me, but he seems very interested in searching and very determined, <Jason is now shown climbing up a grassy hill> so I think we're just gonna go about it at our own pace, <Quick clips of Jason swimming and searching are shown> and <long pause> I'm probably gonna be slower, but I think I'm good with the clues… <laughs> <A comical sound is heard, as the camera shows the second clue in a hole at the bottom of a thick tree trunk and Ruth Marie walks right past it> Ruth Marie: <talking aloud> Where is the clue thing? <The camera continues to show Ruth Marie, as she looks around aimlessly> It should be around this spot somewhere… <The camera scrolls down to show another view of the second clue> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Yeah, either it's getting harder, or my mind is a little bit more lethargic than I anticipated. <laughs> I think Jason is probably having better luck… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show Jason walking under a jutting rock formation and looking up, and the screen abruptly fades out> Airai Tribe ("Fans") - Day 9
<'Confrontation' plays, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of two tree-covered islands, and clouds can be seen rapidly shifting above them. A wide view of the dense jungle is then shown, before the camera cuts ahead to show the Airai tribe's flag, and then switches angles to show Erik walking by himself along a jungle path to retrieve treemail> Erik - CONFESSIONAL: It's Day 9; <short pause> I woke up really early this morning, <A clip of Erik reaching into the treemail box and pulling out a piece of stone money is shown> and I feel like I'm in some kind of weird power position right now with everything that's going on in the tribe <Erik is then shown walking back to camp> because I definitely know I have Joel, Mikey, and Mary on my side, <The camera switches angles to show the three Airai members> and I'm pretty confident that we can get Alexis and Natalie. <Erik is now shown holding up the treemail, as the camera scrolls over to Tracy> Tracy: <talking loudly> Hey, guys! We got treemail! <Another view of Erik is shown next> Erik - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I am so glad the Favorites sent Jason to Exile Island again. <The camera continues to focus on Erik, as he reads the message aloud> I mean, this is perfect; <short pause> we can blindside him as a tribe if we lose today, and he'll have no idea what's coming… <A spooky music begins to play, as the camera shows a view of the stormy sky, and a crash of thunder is heard. A wide view of several castaways gathered in and around the shelter is shown, as Erik walks over to them> Erik: Okay; <short pause> I've got a question for you guys: <The camera scrolls across several Airai members, and then focuses back on Erik> How many of you honestly think that you could beat Jason? <There is a comical sound, as Kathy jokingly throws her hand into the air> Kathy: Me! <A clip of both Natalie and Alexis is then shown> Natalie: <to Erik> In what? Physical? Mental? <The camera now cuts back to Erik> Erik: <to Natalie> Anything… <laughs> <Another close-up view of Natalie is shown again> Natalie: I don't think he's strong mentally; <The camera shows then Tracy looking up> I just don't… <A wide view of all eight Airai members is shown next> Erik: Well, <short pause> my main focus right now in the game is to get rid of Jason because, I know that he's kinda getting screwed, but… <Joel is shown standing nearby, as he interjects> Joel: <to Erik> But he screwed us with what he said on Exile… <Erik is then shown again> Erik: That's true. And I know he works hard. <Mary is now shown with a thoughtful look on her face, as she nods> Like, I'm not gonna discredit him at all; <short pause> he's done wonders for us, <The camera goes back to Erik> but I try to remove all emotions from this game, and at this point, I'm not gonna let my vote be swayed on whether or not I feel bad for Jason. <The camera switches angles to show an unconvinced Natalie tensing her expression> Natalie: Okay; <short pause> my concern with Jason is that, are we gonna be able to get the amount of food that he's getting? <Mikey turns his head, before the camera shows Erik again> Erik: <to Natalie> There's so many reasons to get rid of him! I probably can't even list them all! Natalie: But can we keep up his workload if he's gone? <A close-up view of Alexis is shown, before the camera zooms out to show all eight Airai members> Erik: <to Natalie> Please! I will literally climb the coconut trees myself. <laughs> I mean, I'll go out and wrestle a shark if you want me to. <A contemplative Natalie is then shown, as she says "Hmm," and the camera continues to focus on her for a few seconds> Natalie: <to Erik> Okay, here's what, <She pauses, and changes her train of thought> I'm gonna give you a challenge: <An uneasy Erik replies "Okay?"> if you can go out with the spear that he made and bring back one fish, then I will vote for Jason. <Erik is shown again> Erik: <to Natalie> I have to think about it. <The camera shows another view of Natalie> Natalie: If you want me to vote for Jason… <Erik is shown with a pensive look on his face> Erik: <to Natalie> I know, but <short pause> I don't know if I want to possibly make myself look like a fool if I can't even get a fish. <Natalie can then be seen shrugging> Natalie: Okay… <Another close-up view of a thoughtful-looking Erik is shown> Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: I was already gonna vote for Jason no problem. I just like to see Erik stress out because he gets so panicked; <A clip of Erik walking along the beach with Jason's makeshift spear is shown> like, he literally begs, so <pause> I gave him a little challenge and told him he had to catch one fish, so <long pause> we'll see whether or not he can perform. <Erik is now shown swimming out in the shallow ocean waters> Erik: <talking aloud> The things I get myself into… <laughs> <The camera switches angles to show several other Airai members standing on the beach> Natalie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I think he's out doing it right now, <An underwater camera shows Erik swimming around a reef area> so <long pause> I better go watch and make sure he doesn't cheat… <The camera shows Erik stabbing the makeshift spear at a fish and missing it, as he resurfaces for air> Erik: <shouting> Damn! I was so close! <A quick view of Erik's tribemates is shown, as another castaway says "Oh, he almost got one." Erik can then be seen diving back down underwater, as the camera focuses on him for a few seconds, and he spears a very tiny fish. He then emerges from the water screaming joyfully, as he holds it up> Erik: <talking loudly> It's not as hard as it looks! <Natalie is shown raising her eyebrows> Erik - CONFESSIONAL: Now that I successfully caught my first fish, the entire tribe is on the plan to blindside Jason… <Erik can be seen holding the small fish out to Natalie> Natalie: <to Erik> I said a fish, not a minnow… <Erik is shown with a look of disbelief on his face, as he jokingly says "Now come on" and laughs> Erik - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I feel like slowly but surely I'm almost taking over Jason's entire identity in this tribe and in this game because I already absorbed all of his knowledge and now I know that I can actually be a provider. <The camera continues to focus on Erik for a few seconds> I'm leading them towards voting him out. Honestly, I feel pretty confident about Jason going home, but at the same time, <A wide view of all eight Airai members is shown again> I'm definitely worried because there's eight people involved and that's eight mouths that could say the wrong thing at any point. <Joel is now shown next> Joel: So let me make sure, you're all gonna vote Jason. <Tracy and Kathy are both shown nodding their heads, as the camera focuses in on an expressionless Tracy> Tracy: <to Joel> Yes… <The camera then switches angles to show Alexis, Natalie, and Mary> Alexis: What do you think, Nat? <The camera shows Natalie with a look of intense thought> Natalie: Okay, but you all better vote for Jason… <Erik is now shown nodding his head> Erik: It has to happen; bottom line. <A wide view of the entire Airai tribe is shown again, as Mikey steps forward and shakes Erik's hand> Mikey: <to Erik> I'm down for anything, man. <Another close-up view of Erik is shown next> Erik: And another thing, if we're smart, we should all pretend like we're gonna vote Tracy. <An uneasy Tracy is now shown shifting her expression, as the camera turns to her> Tracy: So act like it's me? <The camera shows a wide view of the entire Airai tribe, as Erik can be seen subtly nodding his head again> Erik: <to Tracy> Yeah, act like it's you and then even if he finds the idol, he'll have no idea. <A close-up view of Joel is then shown, as he listens in> Joel: Oh, he'd have no clue what hit him. <The camera switches angles to show Erik again> Erik: He'd have no reason to use it because he'd think that it's definitely Tracy; <Erik takes a long pause, as the camera scrolls across the Fans> Oh my God. That'd be great… <Another crash of thunder is heard, as a dramatic music begins to play, and the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show Kathy and Tracy both collecting firewood in a jungle area> Tracy: I have such mixed feelings about this… <A close-up view of Kathy is shown next> Kathy: <to Tracy> Yeah; I don't know. <Kathy now piles firewood into Tracy's arms> Who knew Erik was the mastermind with all that hair? <The camera continues to focus on Tracy for a few seconds, as Kathy adds "But look who's talking…"> Tracy: <to Kathy> We can't let Jason go home. <Kathy can be seen raising her eyebrows> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: This plan that Erik has, I'm not gonna go with it. <Indistinct conversation is heard between Kathy and Tracy, as they walk> Just think about it, okay? I'm supposed to help these people vote out Jason, blindside him, <Another clip of Joel, Erik, and Mikey is shown> and then next Tribal Council we go to it'll be myself or Kathy that goes, <The camera returns to Kathy and Tracy> so <long pause> I'm actually hoping that Jason found the hidden Immunity Idol right about now because we have a perfect chance to change up this game. <The camera cuts back to the Airai members in their main camp area> Mikey: Where'd Kathy and, uh, Tracy go? <Mikey is shown looking around, before the camera focuses back in on Erik, Natalie, Alexis, and Mary> Erik: Everybody vote Jason no matter what, and don't change… <Alexis now nods her head> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Right now, the guys think they have control, <Tracy is shown setting the firewood down by the fire> but there's one thing they're forgetting: <short pause> I never go down that easy. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen fades out> |
