We'll look back two years from now and realize that Survior "jumped the shark" this season. There have been so many blindsides and double crosses
that anything less just will not compare. Its like homeruns at baseball games - people start to expect them and are bored when it doesn't happen. Seeing
all the deception has been in someways a guilty pleasure for me. Unforetunately real life can be as harsh as Survivor - shows like tonight's remind of how
ruthless people are. How much different is "its only business" from "its only the game".

I was so rooting for Erik. With Erik, what you see is what you get. He looks as if he is a real good guy. He is just naive. I really wish him all the
best in life as I hope he never loses that innocence with which he lives his life. His joy at the simplest things, his lack of pretensions, and well just his
general take on being in Survivor, makes me really want all the best for him.

That was sad and difficult to watch............I don't even know why they put that option of giving up immunity out there in the first place.

God love the boy! I mean really. I have never felt so bad for someone, while loving what was happening, as I was watching this with Erik tonight. Still shaking
my head. Wow, poor kid, but come on! Wow!

I haven't been so "oh no, oh no, oh no, ohnoohnoohnoohno you are NOT going to do that, are you!?!?!" embarrassed for someone since the time in
high school that my friend was talking to another girl, and started going off about this one substitute teacher we often had, who was a COMPLETE dizty airhead,
but also happened to be this other girl's mother...my friend starts going down that path, and I sat there thinking
"No, you are NOT going to say that about her..." and she just kept saying more and more insulting things about this lady, when the other girl, with a
polite smile, finally just nodded and said "She's my mother." Yikes, it was not pretty.

hardest for me was when he kept crossing his fingers and making that face. i kept wondering where he chose to be to watch tonight's episode. i mean most
of these people have parties each week and watch with their friends, no? poor thing must have been locked in his room watching alone and filtering calls on
his machine the rest of the night. and yes, it would have been gold had it been an asshole and not this poor sweet boy.
imagine how he feels watching this and knowing he's contractually obliged to show up for the reunion show on Sunday. |

I don't think he feels TOO bad...he seemed to have a good sense of humor about it.

He's probably going to win "America's Tribal Council Part Deux" now since
1) He is a nice guy and his fantards feel so sorry for him 2) America likes to reward stupidity |

The guy is a goofball. And what kind of "superfan" would make a boneheaded move like that? Still, I think it would be way more embarassing to be
Chet. At least Erik is likeable, in spite of his stupidity.

Why is everyone feeling sorry Erik and not Jason? I find Jason more likable than Erik. |

Erik is incredibly stupid. Even in his Ponderosa confessional he expresses admiration for the way he was played. Well, good for you, you blew your one shot at
survivor, unless they have a "naive survivors" reunion. I really have to wonder about most of these so-called superfans. Two were dumber than a box
of rocks, two quit the game, two strategized their way to early exits. I'll give Mary a pass, though barely. She might have done better than hook up so
blatantly with big mouth Mikey, which was her downfall. The only three who seemed to have a clue were Natalie, Alexis, and Tracy. Even then, Tracy just
didn't have the social skills to align herself with anyone other than quitters Chet and Kathleen and Alexis apparently thinks she did no wrong on the
island. Only Natalie flew under the radar for a lot of the game, or at least they edited it to look that way. It would be pretty funny if she won immunity to
make it to F3 and then take the million over the other schemers.

I don't get feeling sorry for this guy. He's purportedly this big Survivor fan; therefore, he is wise to all the tricks. He knew the chance he was taking, but he thought he could pull off a move for the ages, something to show that he's a survivor genius. Idoit. Thinking you're smarter than the game gets them every time. |
