At least Ian could say he was hungry, dehydrated, exhausted and without a lot of time to think.
Erik was well fed and had all day to think about it. |

I'd put Erik at #2 behind Ian. Both because Ian was at F3 (and also had a guaranteed opportunity to go to F2 if he stepped down, but probably wouldnt have
won) and because Erik still would have needed several more things to go his way to have any real shot of making the final tribal council or even winning the
game. I dont understand how Ian being at a moral crossroads was any different from what Erik was put through. Both of them were caught playing the game and
thought they needed to atone for their actions in some way. Seems strange that the way to atone for being caught playing the game is to hand the game away....
I hate watching stuff like this because Ian and Erik were the two people I was rooting for in their respective seasons. Cant deny the stupidity though. I do like how every so often there's someone in a survivor cast who seems to enjoy the fun of playing the game and the whole experience rather than basing their entire existence in the game on where they finish.

yeah the reasoning for him giving up the necklace made 0 sense... at all... there is really no justification of it... why would giving up the necklace impress
Eliza, Ozzy, Jason or James? It doesn't make a lick of sense... At least colby ...I mean seriously?

I also dont understand how Erik would buy into all of those girls telling him that he needs to improve his status with the jury. Shouldnt he think that they
would all want him to be hated by the jury?

Erik's move is something that no one even thought was a possibility at this stage of the game. No, I definitely expected this to happen sooner or later. I'm actually kind of surprised it took this long. I think maybe a lot of people didn't pursue it because, like Catalie, they assumed that no one would be stupid enough to give it up. But the truth is, I think there were many people in past seasons who would have been stupid enough to give up the immunity necklace, it's just that sadly no one put an effort into making it happen. |

Colby got three votes, he didn't give up a million, he was one vote away from it..
I say, put giving up immunity at either one or 2, but no lower. |

I honestly don't think "well, he wouldn't have won anyways" should be brought into this. We are talking about who made the stupidest move in
the history of the game.
Erik gave away immunity to people who a minute or two beforehand were bashing him and basically telling him they hated the way he was playing the game. Ian had a complete lapse of judgment, but at least he had a somewhat logical reason for his. Erik had no logical reason to do this, yet did so anyways. I'd say Erik is #1 here, because he was guaranteed the final 4 and gave it away for illogical reasons. |

maybe this thread thread should change its name to the "85" and add in erick as stupidest things done on survivor... with maybe an exclamation point!
or maybe it should be changed to just dont do this one stupid thing.

Definitely #1 Erik
then #2 James. Ridiculous! It was the most irrational move ever. |

No way is James nearly as retarded as Erik, Ian, and possibly Colby.

Ian is #1, Erik #2.

Regardless of logic or lack thereof, Eric was still in danger at the next TC. Ian (and Colby), however, probably would've won were it not for their
blunders (hell, Colby only lost by one vote which should say something about his chances). Erik as #2, fine. Erik over Ian, no.

Yeah, is this really a debate? Erik is clearly the biggest moron ever.

GodIsAnAtheist wrote: There is, but he's not (barely). Erik keeps the necklace. Natalie's voted out. Erik's best case scenario is if Amanda gets voted out, and for that to happen he'd have to A) win
immunity and B) convince one or both of the girls to turn on her. All this would do is get him to the jury, where Cirie probably wins.
Colby takes Keith to F2. Colby wins it all. Shit, looking at this Colby would probably be a good number one, but I'd consider lack of experience in putting it under the other two.

This list needs to be modified immediately Colby made a 900,00 dollar mistake Erik,James ,Ian were not gonna win even if some of the stuff they did can be
classified as bigger boneheaded moves.

Really, the stupidest move yet in Survivor. |

I don't care where anything goes on this list, but I think what Erik did was dumber than what Ian did, because Ian was really just another quitter. His
judgment may have been impaired by Tom's browbeating, but it was a decision he made willingly. Is it stupid not to want to win? It depends on your point
of view. It's different with Erik, because he gave up the necklace as a game move that he thought would help him.
