I don't think they would do a final two with an 8 man jury. During Fiji and CI, a 4-4-1 tie and a 3-3-3 tie were much less likely than a simple 4-4 tie.

I'm thinking Erik actually makes F4.

I wonder if Cirie is instrumental in helping to convince Erik to save Natalie by giving her immunity so the three of them can "blindside" Amanda as
payback for Alexis, and then Amanda, Cirie & Parvati boot him out.

Why would he have to give up immunity to do that?

If he was smart, he'd ask himself why he needed to give up immunity if that were to happen. Parvati and Amanda can vote for whoever the hell they want, Erik/Natalie/Cirie and particularly Cirie, would control the vote anyway. |

Maybe in the F5, they see two distinct pairs: Natalie/Erik and Parvati/Amanda, with Cirie as the swing vote. Underneath all of that, the women have conspired
to get rid of Erik next anyways. So when Erik wins immunity, Cirie tells Natalie/Erik that she's uneasy about the vote and thinks that the two pairs will
pick off the swing vote (a la Christy, Dolly, Big Tom, etc.) Erik then realizes that Cirie is his only hope of getting to the final 3 without going on an
immunity streak, so he offers Cirie immunity in exchange for her vote at tribal council. (Either Cirie asks for it, or he offers it to her.) Then, either Cirie
backstabs Erik and he's voted out 3-2 (faves over fans), or 4-1 (if Natalie votes Erik too), or 3-2 (if Cirie keeps her word, but Natalie betrays Erik.)
Either way, Erik is gone, but the more complicated part of the move is the scheming of the women's alliance to get it to all work out.

It's just a theory GreJu, if there is still a play in which someone is dumber than anyone else who's made a dumb move (or non-move) this season.

It still bothers me that there is a possibility (or that some people here present a possibility) that Erik makes a blunder by giving up the immunity. He,
himself, saw what happened to Ozzy and Jason when they didn't use the HII, so why would he give up th immunity he won when he knows he'll become
vulnerable to a boot. Does he think he could pull another "Jason" move from two TC's ago (when they voted out Ozzy) by making a deal with two or
more people to get one of the girls out, maybe Natalie? That would make sense, but there has to be a gaurantee for him that this would work. Which is why
Natalie overhears him say to Cirie that it is a good idea to get rid of her (Natalie).

kenc333 wrote: My only problem with that setup is that Erik is already on an immunity streak (especially if he wins this next one), so why would he feel like he couldnt win a 4th if he had to? If Erik has immunity, then he should put himself in the swing vote position and either go one of two ways: 1. Get a combination of Cirie/Natalie, Natalie/Parvati, Parvati/Cirie to vote with him against the other...and keep Amanda. This way if Erik doesnt win immunity next time (and definitely if Amanda doesnt win the F4 immunity either, which would be the real risk here) he at least has a strategic move available to try and convince the remaining players that Amanda is a huge threat to win based on her standings with the jury.2. Vote out Amanda, but only agree to do this if two and only two of the other girls promises him F3......and then make another power move by announcing this in front of the jury, so they'll know good and well if Erik was lied to if he ends up going home in 4th. By doing that, he'll put the pressure on the two girls he allies himself with to stick to their word to look good in front of the jury, and he looks like he is an aggressive strategist with enough balls to take control of the game when he's able to. I think that if Erik does something dumb here to cost himself the game, that its probably not giving up immunity. He doesnt come off as super brilliant, but he seems to have a good enough sense to not put himself at risk. He had immunity last time and wouldnt even help Amanda, so the guy has definitely played the game in his own best interests to this point. I think a dumb move on his part would be if he were to lose immunity, and then get put in a swing vote position..but then get caught wavering back and forth and all 4 girls decide to take him out rather than risk him deciding the direction of the game for them.

what if someone has a fake hidden immunity idol which erik thinks is real and he agrees to swap his immunity idol for the fake hidden immunity idol. i know right, why the hell would someone do that but in the probst preview natalie says "who would fall for that, like i feel stupid listening to you guys" if erik saw it to be somehow beneficial for him to swap then i dunno, it could happen you never know. |

Two possibilities:
1) Eric finds Ozzy OLD HII or Parvarti finds it and suggests that Eric use it.... which he DOES. 2) Eric wins immunity and gives it away... there by getting voted out. Those are really the only two possible things that could happen... although in the promos for Ep 13 Jeff's voice over says "the idol comes into play again in a completely different way" not "the immunity necklace". I am leaning toward #1 being true. Probst's Voice Over |

In an Ozzy interview he said that the production crew knew where his idol was and took it back and re-hid it, so finding his is not possible, if what he says
is true.
I think that Amanda somehow guilts Erik into giving her the immunity idol and perhaps someone else has the immunity necklace (Parvati?) - I remember hearing rumors about how Ozzy may have given his idol to Amanda in the end game and he got booted. Could it be this the scenario, but it's Erik, not Ozzy that gives up the idol? One thing that doesn't make sense though is why in the world they would allow Erik to go to Exile - who was in charge of that? They realized soon after sending Jason they got themselves in a bind - I just don't see them being that silly again, unless Erik offers himself up to go to Exile if he wins the reward. I also think all that footage last week of Amanda holding over Erik's head the fact that she 'saved him' might come back to roost this week and maybe Erik lets down his guard and buys into him owing Amanda still? He's an Ozzy FREAK, so he might want to try to redeem himself? ETA: At the auction Jeff made a point of saying that Ozzy's idol was out of play and a new idol was re-hidden. So I honestly can't see how in the world anyone would think they could use a random idol they found in camp? But then again, Erik, not the brightest bulb.

you know, eric is clearly way too selfish to give the idol up. unless the offer made to him is too tempting to resist. or he's that desperate to
solidify himself in a position to get into f3. whatever it is, i think he has to be super dumb for it to happen. which i believe i would.. but i really
really cannot how and why he gives it up. the only reason would be that he is secretly in love with natalie or parvati (more likely natalie).

The 2 times a fake idol was tried, Jeff through it in the fire so how can Ozzy get it back?

What if one goes to exile and convinces Erick that the idol is hidden around camp. They plant a fake idol but convince him that every one is
different. Then they tell him it is selfish to have both and convince him to give up the necklace.
