I think the counts will be a little off this season, especially since the women dominated this season and there ISN'T a Chris this time. I haven't checked the confessional count, but based on the course of the show and events have transpired, I'd find it hard to scrape together enough evidence to make a case for anyone that would even COMPETE with Parv's. It's just too overwhelming.

You are not giving away a million dollars, you are voting for the best player of the game. Of course if Parvati does lie about her phony charity work in order to get Alexis' vote, then more power to her. Expecting somebody to "do good" with a million dollars is a stretch these days. I mean after taxes you're clearing $600,000 - now that is a lot of money, no doubt, but it's certainly not life changing money, and to expect somebody to give away half to some charity is ridiculous. Because Cirie appears to be playing the manipulation game on Erik/Natalie by voting with them. Because obviously if one of those two wins the Reward, they'll exile each other to get the idol if they are smart. Cirie is there to be their supposed 3rd vote and keep that idol from being used. Maybe even get them to send HER to get the idol and put it on the Favs side. If they show Cirie and Parv on the side of Amanda, it ruins suspense. But by showing Parvati betraying Alexis and Cirie being loyal, at least as far as they know, gives us more support for a Cirie win. Alexis will vote for her over the backstabber Parvati and Amanda who idoled her out. Then Erik might vote Amanda, but then Natalie gets betrayed by Parvati first and Cirie as well, but Parvati's hurts much more because Cirie was a last minute plan and she planned to ditch her for Erik/Alexis in the F3. Cirie still has good chances to win. Parvati DOES NOT. She is far too negative and the jury HATES her. And it's not like Allstars or Thailand where she has someone just as hated against her in a Clay or a Mariano, she's got NOTHING.

Jason and Eliza both said they respected her game in post-game interviews. Granted Eliza would deffo vote for Cirie in a F3 (but would vote for Parv over Amanda), but Jason doesn't seem the type to want a fat do-nothing win. Alexis will be pissed at Amanda for "lying" and Parvati works for a charity. We don't know where she stands with Cirie. Erik will be pissed at Amanda for trying to guilt-trip him, and Natalie is close to Parvati. She has a great chance at winning the final vote.

Well, I don't know what the intention was of the editors to show Cirie NOT included in the plan for Amanda to use the HII, but I watched the episode with a couple of people who don't read spoilers. And they all felt like Cirie (along with Alexis, Erik, and Natalie) were FOOLED by Amanda and Parvati. Cirie's intentions might have been not to piss of the fans, but the editors didn't care.The editors made it out to be that Cirie was selfish and didn't stick with her long time ally, Amanda. And in the end Amanda/Parvati outwitted the other 4. It looked like Amanda was the underdog being beaten by C/A/N/E.

Looking at the confessional tally is quite interesting. A Parvati win stills seems weird because of her neglect she received for what was about 4-5 episodes during the pre-merge stage. We haven't had a winner neglected for that much time, even Danni had something.

I wouldn't call that necessarily a winner's quote...And well it was only one episode... Parvati is definetly edited as controlling this tribe. BUT, I wanted to point out something interesting. Tom, Todd, and Yul were all on the dominant tribe's pre-merge, yet they were on the radar and never slipped into oblivion for 4-5 episodes straight. As for her confessionals, most if not all of her confessionals were fluff about camp life or winning a challenge, nothing of any substance. And her "everyone is dead to me" is far from a winning quote.

Maybe, the reason they are editing Natalie as so evil is so that she is presented as the "perfect goat" so to speak. But in Final 4 Parvati sides with Cirie/Amanda and boots Natalie, sealing her own doom, becasue she took someone "likeable to the end." Or maybe Cirie is evne presented as less likeable this time, for the same kind of feeling (even though it's not true) So this would be why Parvati is presented in the light she is. A Gamer, whose controlling the game and backstabbing people, but someone who can't bring herself to backstab the one person she should have backstabbed her "little sister." Who knows. Which is why Parvati isn't getting well the Stephanie edit.

Parvati's confessionals are all about the game and her strategy and the end of the game and seeing the big picture. Cirie's confessionals are like "James hurt his finger!" Amanda has more relevent game-related confessionals than she does, especially post-merge.

And the fact that Vee and Danni were actually boring explains their low count... but Parvati is not, so why is she being ignored? And regarding strategy, Cirie has had a ton: 1 - About how she feels vulnerable 2 - The couples thing + the HII thing 3 - All strategy about which side to pick (If I don't trust you, then you can't trust me) 4 - About Jonathan being upset 5 - All strategy on how to save Chet because she would be targeted for being weak 6 - None 7 - All over the place, from funny with Erik/Ozzy to strategy about getting Erik out 8 - Keep Ami or keep Erik? About trust etc. 9 - Fluff 10 - All about taking Ozzy out 11 - fluff 12 - Personal growth, strategy with Amanda. So it's ridiculous to say she's not getting strategy confessionals. <_< The fact that Parvati only got 2 this past episode is another mark against her. She's not.getting.the.face-time. Which is why I'm leaning towards a Cirie win right now. Though everything in interviews contradicts that, but the editing supports it.

Cirie's confessionals have been all about strategy from day one. She's gotten the reflective, personal confessionals about herself, as well as her confessional during the merge episode about how she accurately setup the change in dynamics within the tribe at that point and the change in the game. She's always been portrayed in her confessionals always knowing where the dynamics can potentially float as well as being self-reflective, something most winners always have. I personally loved her confessional last episode about how she's grown to not see everything as being a threat. Now that's a quality winners quote right there.

There were just too many comments about her being a jury threat. They wouldn't make it THAT obvious. It's likely they showed it because she misses the finals. I think this might be a misleading edit as most viewers know that she blew the Survivor China final TC. By reminding the viewers of that fact, it might set her up as the surprise and 'deserving' win if she redeems herself by having a more effective final TC. Also, based on Amanda's demeanor at the China Finale in L.A., I thought (and others on this board observed) there was no way she just came back from Micronesia having done well. Now, after seeing her brilliant performance and lie that she pulled off at last TC, I think she was performing the same way at the China Finale to make us all believe she did not have a good experience in Micronesia. I really don't want to see Amanda win, could you imagine that if she did she would be touted at arguably the best survivor player ever! Making it to the end in 2 seasons.
