I'm thinking the writers put that in as an ironic twist to mirror his real life issues and it will be the reason for his character's exit.

Regarding that person's exit, I really don't see why they need to look for a replacement. They have several more than suitable people already right under their noses. It seems as though they've been building up to a Wendy/Hodges promotion the past two seasons. I would prefer Wendy since I like Hodges more as the lab guy thoug.h Exactly what I thought. I'm pretty sure Hodges will remain a lab guy. Also, OTOH, with Grissom being in fewer episodes, maybe they do need to add another character. And whatever happened to Sophia?? Sophia's still on. She's just a detective and appears every couple of episodes. |

Yeah, it's been rumored for a while that Grissom won't be on the show much longer, and although I'm not a huge fan of his, I really see this show
derailing quickly losing 3 major characters in 2 seasons or so. I guess since they use Brass so much, Sophia doesn't show up as often, but unless my
memory is failing me, I can't even remember the last episode she was in. I just remember them giving her the story arc involving the friendly fire in the
shootout, and then it goes blurry from there.

WTF? Another character gone? As if the show isn't already going downhill.... Now it's just picking up speed and heading into the crash and burn stage.
Sad, really, the show still has/had some potential left but things aren't looking good...

If the writers did plop that drunken pill-popping dead stripper ep in because of Dourdain's issues, at least we finally have a reason for something
happening.
I was amazed at how quickly that plotline got snuffed out Still, if this is true, they've lost it. As for me, I deleted CSI from series record last week. I feel a sense of relief. |

I really don't have much interest in the episodes anymore, but I just figure I've sat through 8 seasons of this show so I might as well see it through
to the finish. Also, another thought I remembered when I brought up Sophia. Whatever happened to Ronnie?

Dourdan must be a student at the Winona Ryder School for Rehearsing for Part.
I don't remember seeing Eckley lately either. The Mythbuster guys are supposed to be on tonight's episode.

Cool seeing the Mythbuster dudes. :)

But why were the Mythbusters guys there?? Was this concept of catching fire from tasers something they already covered on their show?? |

Who cares? Seeing them there was funny. Maybe it was part of the whole string theory thing. Next week is going to be interesting what with the 2 and 1/2 men
writing team having written the episode.

From TVGuide.com
This is seriously frakked up. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Battlestar Galactica's ass-kicking Katee Sackhoff was thisclose to becoming Jorja Fox's pseudo-replacement next season on CSI. In fact, she was considered to be such a lock for the new series-regular role of Bryce Adams that exec producers Carol Mendelsohn and Naren Shankar, both huge fans of the actress, were practically rolling a red carpet all the way to her trailer. But... Oh, come on, you knew there was a "but" coming. After seeing Sackhoff read for the part of the sexy new CSI on the graveyard shift, executives at both CBS (who declined to comment for this story) and Jerry Bruckheimer Television remained unconvinced that they had found their Bryce. And, unfortunately, their opinion won out. Told you it was a frakked-up story. Now, the role is once again up for grabs, I'm once again bummed, and so once again I'm turning to you for opinions. Who do you think was right - the creative folks or the suits? Weigh in below. And then watch my super-fun interview with Ms. Sackhoff from last night's TV Guide's 2008 Sexiest Stars soiree - a portion of which I'm saving for next week's vodcast because, well, it's just that good. |

So I looked at the photos for this Sackhoff.... Why do they keep setting up Grissholm with butch gals? He was great opposite Lady Sexcapade, whatever her name was. I could enjoy more episodes with her acting opposite him... If they must have him romantically linked with a CSI-er, then I would expect him to be with someone closer to his own age than either Jorja or Sackhoff. |

I thought that was one of their best episodes

Last night's ep was fantastic. It was funny and quirky and I loved the TV Exec..."Hmm...sexy people doing sciency stuff. There could be a series
there."

Loved this episode from start to finish. Just fantastic.
And Sackoff...oh my lovely Katee...she needs to be in a show like 24, but with her as the Bauer character. Oh...that gets me all a tingle... |

The only part I enjoyed about this episode was the joke about the writers not wanting to write the crap for "2 and a Half Men" since they were the
writers. That show is just one lame ass sex joke after another. The comedy of it died out after episode 2. How it's lasted as long as it did is beyond
me. I guess seeing Charlie Sheen and waiting for his inevitable STD death keeps people tuning in.
Get me back to real CSI, none of that overly force trying to hard to be funny bullshit of last night. I like my humor like a desert, dry and potentially deadly. |

They just showed Lab Rats...what a great episode. It makes me realize how little I care about the soap opera bullshit this show turned into. So sad. And
last week's comedy episode? No. Can we solve crimes? That would be good.
I'm probably the last person watching this. I'll turn off the lights. |
