I may get it tomorrow, but my gamertag is NlGHTCRAWL3R.
I know I can connect to XBox Live better than I can on my Wii. *tea.rs |

Ok, super nerd-dad question. I know that the GTA games have a lot of language in them. I have GTA 3 and Vice City (not Andres). Is the language really bad in this one? I mean, like in Andres there were like 14 fucks in the first 5 minutes. I'll have to play this while my son is in the other room, but I don't want him to hear f-bombs every 4 seconds.Average GTA IV mission briefing: "Fucking hell this fucking cocksucker fucked my fucking girlfriend/didn't fucking pay me my fucking money. Fuck him, go and fucking kill him you fucking moron." Although I've only been taking missions from Russian guys so far so it's possible the others later on aren't as bad. Althugh, fun fact: if your son listens to you playing this game for long enough he will eventually hear someone saying "your Dad likes to take it up the ass." |

GTA's language may be too much for him. You should probably just buy him the Scarface game instead.

Went to four stores last night: GameStop, FYE, Circuit City and Toys R Us. All out.
So sad. (that's a "So Sad" for me - trekking around to four stores - as well as all the stores being out of GTAIV.) |

about 4 Bronx missions with nothing indicating opening up a new section. I guess after all the drugs are delivered and I kill enough people for whatever
Russian I'm currently doing missions for. Hopefully soon. Not that I don't dig what they've done, fucking addicting and amazing.

If you wanna experience the entire city right off the bat just go online and play free roam.

I bought it, but I've not played it yet. I'll do free roam and help you kill people! We can pretend they are all Starring Amy! |

How old is this child? Do you know about the murder and rape and jugular flossin' in this game? Six months shy of his 18th bday. I think he will can deal with it.

kill you later or are you too poor with your "great job" to afford such a thing?

Played it a little more; so far I'm not really into it. I think I need to get more of a feel for the border between the linear story and the
do-whatever-you-want part.
I went on a date with the chick, we went bowling, she beat me but I got nothin'. Before I went on the date, fuckin' Roman calls me saying he's in trouble. I ignored him and went on the date anyway, and later he gets pissed. What would have happened had I gone to help him and stood up the girl? |

I never follow the linear storyline or complete the missions. I just use cheat codes and cause mayhem everywhere. I like to explore the city and fuck around.
But I agree it sometimes gets overwhelming. There's so much to do that you end up doing the same thing over and over again. |

ProbstFan123 wrote: That aptly describes my friend. Myself, I figure there is plenty of time to do random shit, I'd rather do the storyline and open up Manhattan/Jersey,
then you have an entire map to create chaos in. The drinking and dates, far as I figure, offer minor benefits. I notice if I got out with Roman, he never turns
me down for the taxi service but if I blow him off, sometimes he'll tell me the taxis are busy. In SA, each girl had some in game benefit, assuming the
same with the girls in this game as well as your phone contacts that have the buddy options. Unclear what Little Jacob offers. The only "random"
thing I've been doing is practicing the driving. Cornering is kind of weak unless there's a trick I'm missing?
