Yuku free message boards

For the record, Aero, I'm not complaining one bit, and have never cut down the mods here. But what I am trying to obtain, and have yet to - is what the actual beef is. I keep asking, but no one's telling. I don't want to post or do things that piss people off or that goes against the grain of the forum - but I'm not a mind reader.

I lurked for years and only joined a little over a year ago. I still consider myself somewhat of a newbie, and I have yet to figure out why so many hate the people currently posting in this forum. I'm like Kimberly - I read everyone, I laugh at everyone, and the only elitest vibe I've ever gotten is from the people who continually come in here and say how much this forum sucks because of all the current posters suck. How long does a person have to be here until they're allowed to post without revulsion from the oldbies?

Even if killing the BB forum is a joke or whatever, the whole discussion has brought a whole bunch of shit to light.

So, all I'm doing is trying to figure out what change(s) are wanted and why there is sooooo much animosity. I get it (now) that people HATED all the bantering in the LFD thread. But for crying out loud, no one said knock it the fuck off. So I ask my questions again. What is the major beef here? Is it:

1. Just that we need more and better feed recapping participation (instead of just relying on the small few who have been diligent at posting in the recap thread);

2. If people want to post off topic shit during lulls in feed, do it in a separate thread (I was under the impression such a thread would have been immediately locked);

3. Sucks BB mods / admins do not want or allow off topic posting at all during lulls in feed, so scratch #2 above;

4. Combo of 1 and 3 above.

Aero, SOA, even if this was somewhat of a joke that the BB forum was being killed, if someone would answer these questions, the problem(s) could be solved. I know people would be more than willing to do what you want, if they knew exactly what it is you want. I'm not talking about hand-holding - I'm talking about finding out after the fact that this forum was pissing you off and simply trying to figure out how to not piss you off going forward.
