I rated her UTR1 in ep 1 and held to it since. Seeing her get multi-5's and then tank at the merge...if that smells like "rotting fish", well, I
haaaaatttte seafood, so it's probably me that stinks.
Will have to do a Sunday rewatch, then rate, busy weekend. Michael |

The ability to laugh and giggle and smile doesn't make you a P... that's her defense mechanism.... it doesn't make
her a P. The reality is....all of those women. deserve an N. They were - to quote Natalie (and i never thought i'd type those words) - cutthroat bitches.
The whole episode tone was very dark and dangerous, the 5 of them were shown looking through Jason's stuff (in varying degrees of course) but only the guys
got the looks of disgust. The only female you can make any real no-N argument for is Amanda and she is at best.... an M or a Nuetral because she had some very
endearing scenes with James that shows how saddened she and how conflicted she is.
Phoenix, It was Cirie that asked where Jason's bag was. It was Natalie and Amanda that went over to his bag. It was Natalie that went through his bag. It was James and Eric that got the reaction shots. Parvati and Alexis were there but where edited as having nothing to do with the girls going through his bag. No words...no reaction shots...nothing. Oo,

I don't think that's Erik's shirt, AMAI. Cirie's boobs are MUCH bigger than his.
I was thinking about that scene last night. Cirie was talking about James' finger, which looked really nasty, and I think Cirie was right to be concerned. Then later I noticed James' finger was all bandaged up. Coupling that with Jeff's comment after TC that the medics wanted to look at James' finger leads me to wonder if James just might have to leave the game for medical reasons. Those infections, left untreated, can kill you. |

question about amanda---at the beginning of episode she said about Ozzie boot--it made me look stupid to my alliance--if she is alligned with James, oz, and
eric how does she look stupid, they were all blindsided? Is her real alliance the girl power before the boot and them not telling her made her look stupid?

This season has had some of the weirdest recaps ever. Deciding between Parvati and Cirie comes down to how you view the latest recap that Warrior so nicely
capped. Probst said that Ozzy's elimination was all Parvati's doing, completely ignoring the huge role played by Cirie in the actual episode.
What we have to do is decide whether the editors put blame on Parvati or gave her credit. That is an individual interpretation. One could argue that Probst used the word "Double-cross" to describe Parvati's actions, a word with definite negative connotations. For my part, I think that negativity was more than counter-balanced by the rest of the story: Ozzy's arrogance and his lack of awareness to danger set up his boot for the viewers to appreciate it. James and Erik both said it was a good move. Amanda didn't like the method but not the result since she still wants to believe Parvati. I see that credit was given to Parvati while Cirie's role was ignored, just like Stacy after the Edgardo boot. |

Brutally backstabbing a guy who thinks he can trust you ....isn't evil and malicious?No it's called...playing the game? It's not a backstab if it wasn't done to someone who trusted you (ask Ozzy, or Mikey B, for just a couple); it's just a boot. Was it "evil and malicious" to blindside James in China? Again, the "flossing" comment was said with a self-aware "Mwahahaha" laughing tone, from someone who has seen fellow Fans be picked off all along. Now she's in the power alliance, which could be the first successful female deep game alliance in Survivor history. Natalie's a very articulate talker (check out her Insider video from a few episodes ago, labeled something about Pizza) who loves playing to the camera (despite the fact that the cameras have not liked HER this season!)--remember the "Vanna White" impression with the treemail book, earlier? I suspect she is very theatrical in whatever she says. Coupling that with Jeff's comment after TC that the medics wanted to look at James' finger leads me to wonder if James just might have to leave the game for medical reasons.Yes, it's definitely significant...the crews are in there all the time bandaging people up, and we usually don't see them. To include Jeff's comments, after TC no less, definitely means it's going to be more than just a "Oh, here's some Neosporin and a Band-Aid, now off you go" |

Okay, barely in by the deadline. Rough weekend. Short and sweet. Amanda - CP3 - Tough call, MOR is arguable, it's a question of determining the amount of insight. Straightforward presentation, no tone intended. Alexis - UTR1 - There with little to no concern. Cirie - UTR2 - not used much, an appendage to the story. Erik - OTTP3 - He is one dimensional, the guy you like. Should've licked Alexis fingers, she had way more chocolate on them. He's the "sweetheart" of the season. James - MOR4 - unduli said it best, his purpose was to give depth and breadth to Parvati's story, not his. I concur. Jason - MOR3 - No tone intended. Yes, he's a dunce, but it's about the others simply deciding which man to fry. Natalie - OTTN4 - OTT, easy. One N. Just one. The reaction intended was simple - she's playing to the camera. NN is for reinforcing the absolute evil of someone. She had me going, "Okay I get it, it was cute the first time you said something." That's all. Don't go crazy. Parvati - CP3 - She wasn't intentionally toned at all. She got insight. She actually told James her plans, which match what we're seeing. She's searching out her place in the game with concern about how she's playing it. Natalie covered her this episode. Winner - Alexis, Parvati. Parvati, Alexis. My pick of Alexis stays until she goes. Parvati wins if the editors are up to their normal pattern, Alexis does is this is Allstar/Guat part thrice. Given that Parvati isn't anywhere near the high V/high N of Mariano and Steph, I think I'll have the wrong pick if Alexis stays around. Oh well, got me. Michael
