As evidenced in her saying it multiple times and adding the comments "Blackville", some would argue that she was being an ass. I am at least glad that Kimberly said "blackville" and not "Coloredville" or "N-wordville"

Based on what I've read I agree with Vaughn. There is such a thing as racial oversensitiivy which IMO just adds to an overall segregated (not literally/physically but mentally) attitude. I see a big difference between not cow-towing to political correctness and being a racist. A few weeks ago, I was picking up a friend (who happens to be black) and I'd accidently drove passed him. He'd seen me and called me on my cell to let me know "you just drove past me" and I jokingly said you're too dark, I couldn't see you. He laughed and said he owes me one for that but my husband's jaw fell on the floor. Now to me, I didn't say anything wrong but he still thinks I did. I feel it's only wrong if you think having dark skin is wrong.

If you are from a privileged or affluent background and you call someone that it certainly isn't used in an endearing joking background if you do't know that person or you are joking around. Kimberly CLEARLY said it in a "I'm better than you" way. For those haphazardly defending her usage of it, please remember she said it a couple times AND attached race to it unnecessarily. So while YOU may not believe it's attached to race, please rewind your tivo and noticed how Kimberly attached "BLACKVILLE" in her rant in an effort to be clear of what she REALLY felt. I don't think any poster on here is deeply hurt and wounded by Kimberly's comments. No one is organizing a protest of the Real World and are not calling for Kimberly to apologize to Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan. Most are just saying: "dayum, that's a fucked up, stupid, ignorant thing to say."

The deeper character issues and the fact that every one of these cast members has a visible 'storyline,' with something to offer, is bringing the whole Real World franchise back to what it was meant to be. And the fact that it's now rolled in one-hour length episodes, just these two episodes, I feel like I know more about these people than we ever got to see of others from watching their respective entire seasons. Greg, Brianna and Joey are gonna Gauntlet/Inferno/Duel Challenge GOLD!

He goes nuts and is either kicked off for voilence, or just quits because he "can't take it anymore". He's always been an ass in real life, I'm not suprised at all to see him on this show.

Ghetto is a very widespread term now a days and it has nothing to do with race!
