While I dislike Cook I can't say anything bad about last night because the thing with his brother is just too sad. I noticed him sitting behind the judges
and part way through the show he wasn't there. He came out for David and Jason but it must've have been too much for him, he looked so very ill.
I'll give Cook a pass this week.

Can't believe DC's shitfest "Always Be My Baby" is #1 on iTunes. Fuck iTunes and fuck David C - they never should have made the performances available there. Now everyone's trying to turn the iTunes chart into a competition. Of course, I'm not all too surprised that America has got such shitty taste in music. They should just crown DC now and get it over with. Then he can release his shitty AI single and watch it fail.

I HAAAAAAAAAAATED his performance this week. I've tried watching it again to see if I was just in shock from the new arrangement, but I don't think
I'll ever get used to it. The way he started warbling through glory notes halfway through the song was just awful to me. I honestly thought it would be
dubbed the ultimate trainwreck but apparently it was BRILLIANT!
 It reminded me of Fantasia's fantastic trainwreck performance of "All My
Life" in the finale.
I also love how people still bitch about Archie being overly pimped when it's obvious this alien-brained poseur is the true favorite of the show. They've just done a better job at cultivating an "underdog" status for him. |

Cookie is quite unoriginal and unless he can write hit songs (Daughtry) I see limited success. If they're lucky he'll do better than Bbbbblake. Nickelback sold 5 million but I don't know how many the bands Cookie is aping sell. Can Eddie Veddeer (who's great) still move units? I don't hate him but he's such a boring fuck and constantly gets overpraised for the same performance ever week. He, Archie and Carly are killing the show/franchise with their same old shit.
