Bad fashion, bad song choices, screaming/shouting/pushing her voice every week. Now I don't have to watch Simon trying to shove her down our throats anymore, especially since she couldn't deliver what he wanted.

So you may have a little something there. But just a little. I also don't think Carly was very likeable to most of the viewing public, and this is AI after all. Personality plays an enormous part in it.

Two things I said before the season started that have proven to be true: 1) A foreign contestant has no chance of winning American Idol (both Michael and Carly going out before the top 5 when they were pre-season favorites shows that to be true). 2) Charisma and personality count for a lot.

I hate Screamy but fuck even I wanted to cut Brooke with her when she made bottom 2 over that psycho cunt. I'm now rooting for Syesha to knock everyone except Cook out. Carly going in 6th place is bullshit though. She didn't deserve it. Her smile though was nice to see. A couple weeks ago I would have expected major +!@$! from her upon premature departure. She looked relieved. Can't wait to see her on tour in July.
