I AM white and DO appreciate black singers! Over the years I have voted for Syesha, Jordin, Jennifer, Latoya, Chakezie, and probably a couple of other people I've forgotten (I didn't vote in the first 2 seasons). That was part of my point. I was saying, and I thought I was saying it clearly, that Syesha is a good enough singer (and good looking enough), to get "crossover" votes. Or whatever you want to call them. Every singer who makes it to the top 6 or so has a "core" audience of fans, people in their own ethnic group or with simular musical or cultural leanings, and most of them are usually good enough to have some fans from outside that group as well, especially on nights when they sing well. Hopefully over the years on AI a lot of white viewers have supported black singers and vice-versa. I thought I was just applied commonly accepted wisdom (both in and out of sucks) to Syesha's case. I don't know how people can misinterpret these things so badly.
