Rosie hosted a show with her the castaways she liked from S1 and S2, and Elisabeth was on ... though Rosie said she hated Elisabeth until she saw her
comforting Mike in the water in Ep 6.

I always hated the treatment that Zoe got.
She lied to Kathy about her alliance with John/Tammy/Rob (and justifiably so...why the fuck should she be so open about the alliance like that dumbass Carroll was?) And, of course, the general audience was all like OMG ZOE LIED TO KATHY SHE'S THE WORST HUMAN BEING EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait, let me get this straight...Zoe lied, in Survivor????...HOLY SHIT, STOP THE FUCKING PRESSES! Now, fast forward to a few seasons later, Stephenie in Palau lies and cheats at every opportunity (fucking over Bobby-Jon in the process) and the general audience completely jacked off to it. OMG STEPHENIE IS BRILLIANT SHE'S THE BEST.PLAYA.EVAH!!!!!!!!! And if you were one of those hypocrites, fuck you. |

Marquesas is definitely the best season ever. I miss those times when Survivor used to be a balanced show where you could see tribal dynamics, strategy, good
challenges, survival, a great group of castaways, fair editing...

I just recently rewatched Marquesas as well. I'd stopped watching Survivor after Australia (I was livid that Colby had given away a million dollars and
decided not to be bothered anymore) and came back with Pearl Islands, so I've been trying to catch up with the seasons I missed. I've watched them all
now except for Africa, and I have to say that Marquesas definitely goes into the top 5 on sheer entertainment value. I'd probably put it third behind
Vanuatu (the Chris storyline is my single favorite Survivor storyline ever) and Pearl Islands (because Johnny Fairplay is my fucking hero). Great characters,
great editing, a top 5 Survivor storyline (the rise and fall of John Carroll). It's definitely the most well-balanced season of them all.

Marquesas has always been, and probably will always be, my favorite season. Its the only season that had the perfect blend of camp life, scenery, great
characters and strategy. The 3 seasons prior to it often lacked in the strategy and the seasons afterwards lacked camp life and really getting to know the
people on the show.
Kathy has the longest, most developed story arc of any character ever on the show, and definitely got the best edit ever for a female. Kathy and Sean are probably my two favorite people ever on the show, and I really wish Sean had come to Kathy one on one prior to the F5 Tribal, because I think they could have really teamed up to go to F2. |

Marquesas was a great season with the exception of the final two...which blew it for me. They were both such morons that I didn't care who won. Kathy was
definitely easy to identify with that season as she floated from alliance to alliance without ever really fitting in. She was also a very good narraitor.

I'm so glad I decided to re watch Marquesas a while ago (hadn't seen it since it aired so didn't remember a lot of it) What an amazing season. The
Cast. The Location. The challenges. And John Carrol fucking CRIED in his final words! Of course not forgetting that his abs were incredible .

I think its unfair to say Neleh should have lost becuase she only started playing on Day 24. Well thats when she needed to start. She won the first 4 IC's,
and then on her new tribe it was easy vote off the non Rotu people. I mean what "game" did you really want her to play? Vecepia had to play on Day 1
cause she actually went to Tribal Council. and even that what "game" did Vecepia play "Follow Rob and Sean" yea Amber called she wants her
"game" back. For following Jerri/Colby, cause i know the comments Amber followed Rob after Marquesas are coming I think Neleh should have won, just
because of John's comment that she should have apologized, and if she had he would of voted for her. Neleh did not need to apologize for shit. So i think
considering thats why Neleh lost [cough a bitter jury cough] shows she really deserved to win. I hear all you complain "oh bitter juries suck" well
this was obviously a bitter jury, via John's comment. One thing that interests me is had Brandon voted with Kelly/Kim/Teresa/Frank in Africa and that big
swap happened would Africa have become the stand out season and Marquesas become boring? And by saying that had that swap happened Lex prolly never would have
been on All Stars and we all know where that goes.

I also want to add Neleh was the youngest Survivor ever up to this point and a Mormon from Utah. I think considering her being incredibly naive she did pretty
well. I thought up to this point the youngest Survivor had been 22, and she was 21 but i could be off.
